Francois Hollande, Nicolas Sarkozy’s Socialist rival in France’s run-off presidential election, has won the race, prompting the incumbent French president to concede defeat.

Well there was only 3% more votes that went to Holland. The final results was 52% of votes for Holland and 48% for Sarkozy . Unfortunately this election indicate a division within the French population. On side is right wing and the other side left wing.
In less then a month, the third round of voting will elect the the deputies for the National Assembly. Mr Holland (socialist) may have to face Marine Le Pen. She is extreme right wing. If she get a majority at the National Assembly, the Prime Minister will have to choose a deputy inside Ms Le Pen's party and possibly a Prime Minister. Since she is anti Euro, she will make sure that France pulls out of the Euro Zone. Holland will have to make due with trying to sell his views. This may last for 5 years.
I know that Obama has sent a message to Holland congratulating him.
