  • And, Fox News, has picked up the no show:  http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/special-report/2012/01/26/grapevine-o...

  • Here's a blow-by-blow account of yesterday's non-appearance:  http://theintelhub.com/2012/01/26/potus-gets-a-failure-to-appear/

  • From what I've gleaned so far, Obama has not been charged with contempt of court, but his actions have shown disrespect of court, Georgia state law, and citizens nationally.  Please read this article.  It is balanced and explains the ramifications of his actions, which I find to be egregious (a word used frequently in law that means "extraordinary in some bad way; glaring; flagrant."

For those that don't have time, this article says the judge's ruling is expected soon, but an insider says the judge is going to disqualify him from Georgia's ballots.  It also discusses state's rights which, as I mentioned earlier, is a huge issue.  His non-compliance is the pebble in the pond that could end up a tsunami.  This article mentions that even one state disqualifying him may be enough to keep him off all ballots, and why not?  Georgia law is based on constitutional law and if he's not qualified in one state, he sure isn't qualified in any state.

Anyway, whether one state disqualifying him is enough or more states are needed, there are at least several more states that are taking this matter, which federal judges blew off in 2008, into their own hands.  This is called self-defense and self-preservation, at the state level.

Obama's getting backed into a corner.  What will he do to hang on to his power?  I don't know but it looks like a showdown is coming.  Got preps?

  • Alex, I think it's the principle, that he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it (if that is, indeed, what has occurred).  It also sets up legal precedent and for procedure for any potential future occurrences.  Everyone waffled at first, not really knowing what to do about it, so now, the path has been blazed.

  • He will not be defeated They have been setting up the their plan since the second he took office. The first second they feel they are really losing control is when the tribulation REALLY starts. That is happening now is nothing compared to what is going to happen. It will be like hilter declaring the Jews enemies and omam will declare any person who believes in the constitution a terrorist and enemy of the country. He has already set up the law to do just that, with the aid of the house and senate and Like hilter we will be rounded up and .......

    Elections are just an illusion

  • The judge was pretty clear about not holding the president in contempt even though the attorney general was shooting for that outcome.  And all this because someone says that what he presented is a forgery.....I simply ask now what difference does it really make, the man is in office, the man will stay in office until he is defeated.  Just my opinion.

  • Do dreams really come true?

  • Yeah, that's what I'm getting at.  The pressure will be on the judge now to back off ... or else.

  • And for those who may not know, a default judgment means the plaintiff(s) win.  However, there is usually a period of time wherein the absentee defendant could appeal and show good cause as to why they missed the hearing.  However, in the instant case, defendants up-front said we're blowing you off, so doubt that would go anywhere (in a normal, for-me-and-you kind of case, that is).

  • Under state laws, this is the normal procedure for a defendant who is a no-show to the first hearing.  However, it is becoming increasingly clear that the guys at the top believe the law is just to control the masses.  It will be interesting to see how this case evolves.  I think Judge Mahili has the huevos to do it.  It is the law of Georgia and refusing to put Obama's name on the ballot is legal in many state, including Georgia.  If the feds try to tamper with that... then that would be a loud declaration of the end of states' rights (which each state does have, the right to conduct their own affairs without interference from the federal gov't).  And who knows what the consequences of that would be.  A number of states are already fighting mad at federal meddling.
