Don, Good Samaritan is a Christian outfit that spreads medical bills out over the entire group.  It's the only type of alternative medical insurance I know of that does something like this.  No middlemen, no profits.  Just everyone month, participants are told what the group's bills were for the prior month and it is divvied up.

I think the biggest awakening ever has been created by Otrauma care and there will be a massive non compliance not only because people can't afford it or the doctors and hospitals are disappearing but because they will realize they have been swindled.

This is just another reason why we all must disconnect from this predatory system that was designed to rape us until death.

It may sound impossible but maybe it is simple. We all should discuss possible options.

But, Donald, I think it will backfire.  Many people can't afford for their rates to double, so the insurance company may lose business.  Of course, if the gov't legislates that they have to do something, then they don't have a choice.  However, the gov't shouldn't have been legislating anything when it comes to free will/free choice and that could have an adverse impact on the insurance industry, having to accept pre-existing conditions when not enough money is coming in to balance it out.

  The insurance industry is much bigger than it appears to be. Not only can they set their own rates they have made the deductibles so high that they can control how much they have to pay out. They have rewritten the rules for schools, by stopping the children from running or playing dodge ball so they don't have to pay for injuries. There is a method of surviving an earth quake called the Triangle of life that they do not allow in schools because they want children to Duck and cover so that they die under their desk instead of paying out for injuries that may go on for years that they have to pay for. If a school teaches the Triangle of life the insurance company cancels their policy. They have the power to make it mandatory for all training manuals to teach duck and cover in the whole US which almost guarantees your death where the Triangle of life almost guarantees you live. Money is their only goal.

I am pretty sure the insurance groups are smelling blood and will now never issue policies at the old rates.

Why would they, The government has given them carte blanche to charge double. And yes, I think O is just regretting he got caught.

Yes, he knew.  Being sorry now is just trying to lessen the outrage against him and his Ocare.  He's not sorry he tried to pull something, he's sorry he got caught.

I hope they do something so people don't get hit with big bills.  Obama said he was sorry that happened.  Remorse for one's mistakes is good, but competency preventing the problem is so much better.

The House is trying to pass a bill that would let people who had a plan as of1/1/2013 would be able to keep there plan at the same rate, so lets see where this goes. I think it has already gone too far to be fixed.
