I've heard a rumor that some judges hold stock in private prisons.  Conflict of interest, big time.

I suspect more than just him are involved. 

You might want to have the root canal clean out and just put an implant in its place.  Those germs just keep breeding and can migrate, and root canals are associated with heart disease because of that.

I have had a lot of friends that have had failed root canals. I have had one and it seems to be OK. The body does not like dead things is interesting, I wonder if that applies to all the brain dead people running around ha ha. Your state sends a lot of prisoners out of state probably to privatized prisons to save money or from over crowded jails makes you wonder if this judge is involved some how maybe a stock holder.

I think Virginia is the same way.  I know the regional jail is private.  My son was just telling me there is one judge who has a license plate on his car that says 2 Million.  That's his goal to incarcerate while he's judge.  He's called "the show stopper" (a play on his name "Showalter") because if you get him your show stops.

Does the root canal quota apply to one person or is it for general population.

The entire state of Idaho is privatized which makes it really bad for anyone who breaks the law.

And it is destroyed forever.  They scoop people up around here, families are left without the providers, one wrong move on probation and you go back.  I call it the reverse fisherman saying:  Release and Catch.

Judges are inconsistent across the boards.  Some guys get slammed, while others get off for the same type of offense. 

Your comment about quotas reminded me of something I read the other day.  Did you know the American Dental Association has issued quotas as to the number of root canals that should be done?  Why in the world would they do that?  Is it because root canals harm people's health?  That, to me, is very sinister.  With what is going on in the world today, everyone should be suspicious of anything these vested interest groups do or say.

Here is a video about the privatized prisons getting investors based on the economy being bad and there is more crime and more people going to jail so your stock goes up it is short but telling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU7h6gQvUsY  I have read that Bush, Cheney and Oboma are well invested in these prisons. I think this trickles down to police departments that have arrest quotas. When a state signs a contract with the privatized prison the state is required to keep the prison 70% or more filled, that alone is the first sign that that the state will have to become criminal to arrest people that should not be arrested at all. The corporations use the prisoners for cheap labor and pay the privatizes prisons for their use.  usually 25 cents per hour is given to the prisoners. I have a stepson that is there for minor drug offences he is trying to go to rehab, but the price for that is a very long and unjust probation period, where if he does anything wrong he goes back to prison for many years. For a minor drug offence your life can be destroyed for ever.
