Simple arithmetic reveals that there is approximately 36 1/2 centuries between each of these global catastrophes. Comets, especially very large comets, by definition, are periodic. They enter our Solar System at regular chronological intervals, like a scheduled bus run. Halley's comet has been shown to appear quite punctually, every 75 years. 36 1/2 centuries seems to be the uniform time interval between visits by a massive dwarf star which NASA has officially documented in an internal report titled, "The Search for Planet X".
