More than a year ago, noted Republican commentator Pat Buchanan warned that the outcome of the Trayvon Martin case, in which neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman is on trial for murder, could provoke rioting.

“The public mind has been so poisoned that an acquittal of George Zimmerman could ignite a reaction similar to that, 20 years ago, when the Simi Valley jury acquitted the LAPD cops in the Rodney King beating case,” he warned.

It seems he may have been right.

WND reported earlier in the week that police in Sanford, Fla., where the trial is being held, already were going door-to-door, apparently trying to prevent any violent reaction to the jury verdict when it is reached.

But a number of bloggers and watchers say there are not-so-subtle rumblings of violence developing.

On the Mr. Conservative blog, Twitter threats were reproduced in abundance.

“If Zimmerman don’t go to jail ill kill him for $20,” said one.

“Gimme me tha pistol ill kill Zimmerman myself,” said another.

“If George Zimmerman win I’m gonna kill a fat white boy dat look lik George Zimmerman I swear,” said a third.

“This is despicable and seriously frightening,” wrote blogger Kristin Tate. “There is no way this would be tolerated if the threats from whites were against a black man.”

Read the latest on what’s happening in the Florida courtroom where Zimmerman is standing trial.

Zimmerman is on trial for the shooting death of Martin, a teen he said attacked him and pinned him to the ground, delivering blows to his head. Zimmerman said he pulled his weapon and fired at Martin, killing him, in self-defense.

The blog reported thousands were threatening to riot should Zimmerman not be determined guilty by a jury.

“In addition to hundreds of racist, disturbing tweets, there are several Facebook pages dedicated to promoting the murder of George Zimmerman,” Tate wrote. “One of those pages even urges riots if he is not found guilty for the murder of Trayvon Martin.

One of the postings states: “Let’s flex our muscle!. What, you scared?”

The online sentiment follows a video report that showed Sanford officers were going door-to-door

Police say they fear a backlash from the community when the verdict is delivered. Los Angeles had days of rioting when the Rodney King verdict came down.

So Sanford Police Chief Cecile Smith confirmed officers are going door-to-door talking to people.

“Our worst fear is that we’d have people from outside the community coming in and stirring up … violence,” he said.

At The American Dream, commentator Michael Snyder wrote; “Should we take the thousands of people that are threatening to riot if George Zimmerman is found not guilty seriously? After all, people make idle threats online all the time. Sometimes people say things on Twitter or on Facebook that they don’t actually mean and would never actually do in real life.”

Snyder said the justice system “has got to be able to function without having to be concerned about threats of violence if the ‘wrong result’ is reached.”

“George Zimmerman deserves a fair trial just like everyone else does,” he said. “If he is actually guilty of a crime, then let him be found guilty. If he is not guilty of a crime, then let him be found not guilty.”

Snyder said the notion “that he must be found guilty ‘for the good of society’ is complete and utter nonsense.”

“If we start allowing public opinion and threats of violence to determine the outcome of court cases, our legal system will lose all remaining credibility,” he wrote.

Paul Joseph Watson, author of “Order Out Of Chaos,” wrote at Infowars.com that authorities in Sanford already have enlisted the help of pastors as “observers” who will report to their congregations.

At Crimefilenews.com was the flat-out prediction of rioting.

“The George Zimmerman trial here has thousands of African-Americans getting ready for some serious bloodletting. I don’t want to make idle and dire predictions but this nation has never been so divided and racially sensitive. … Our African-

American president took sides on this case at the very beginning. That ratified a George Zimmerman guilty verdict in the minds of millions.”

Obama, himself, weighed in on the case long before it went to trial, saying that if he had had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.

Crimefilenews also noted the Twitter campaigns, with statements including:

  • “Hell is gonna break loose!”
  • “Let the riots begin.”
  • “Somebody in this great st of FL gone lynch his a**.”
  • “If George Zimmerman walks he better be in hiding for the rest of his life.”

The Huffington Post reported that the Miami-Dade Community Relations Board was meeting with others to set up designated protest areas.

“We want people to respond in a positive way. If they have frustrations they want to vent, we want them to do that in an orderly and organized way. So the message is: Peace for Trayvon,” a board member, Walter Richardson, said in an interview with CBS Miami.

Buchanan’s warning a year ago said that should violence erupt, those who “fanned the flames, and those who did nothing to douse them” should be held accountable.

Wrote Snyder at The American Dream: “The threats that some of the supporters of Trayvon Martin are making are absolutely chilling.’

  • Okay.

  • Sorry it does not work for me either was sent by a friend.

  • View protesting.jpg in slide show, where?

  • I heard you and the plan is the only way to get anything done it will take many millions and very loud.View PROTESTING.jpg in slide show

  • Wow.  I proposed a plan and you said nothing about it.  The idea of having to actually do something is shutting the people in this country down.  No offense intended, just an observation.  There is an incredible non-confront going on.  The people can confront typing on a computer, maybe faxing something to their congress critters.  But to actually go out ... it's going to take millions of voices to be heard, not hundreds or a few thousands.

  • If the riots get out of hand which they could if the media fuels them enough of course martial law is the original goal but I think the ultimate one is the confiscation of guns which causes more problems and extended martial law. They have been breaking their backs proposing registration laws and bans on assault weapons. They have faked the statistics and tried to pass the UN gun treaty. You can bet they already know where most of them are. I think the elite always have more than one reason for what they are up to.

  • I think race riots are more for the purpose of martial law than just mere distractions; however, as Rahm Emanuel said, "never waste a good disaster," so I guess it could be multi-purpose.

Race riots are just the next example of how we are no longer a country ruled by law.  When every court presented with Obama's elibility lawsuits refused to hear the cases, it was obvious.  Then, when Obama threatened the Supreme Court over ObamaCare and CJ Roberts caved in, it was really obvious.  Now, it is becoming obvious that trial outcomes will be swayed by the will of certain populations who threaten violence over the outcome.

The time for legal redress has ended.  The American people have done what they could via legal avenues to express their grievances via petitions, essays, peaceful demonstrations, letters to elected representatives, etc., but it has, and is, and will continue to be ignored.  While there is still time left, it is incumbent upon the People to use the next level of persuasion.  Nothing in the Constitution says we have to lay down and die if the remedies fail.  I don't think it's time for violence, yet, but Americans need to become visible (i.e., get off the internet and get boots on the streets) and get really loud about things.  Then the patriotic military will hear the will of the people and come to the defense of our country, against ALL ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC

We all know America is in trouble but no one knows what to do.  Before it devolves into guerilla warfare, let's formulate a non-violent plan of action with teeth.  Here's one to get the discussion rolling...

    Goal:  Restore America.

Plan:  Remove the current corrupt federal government administration.

Target:  Operation Boots on the Streets

T1:  Spread the word about Operation Boots on the Streets via the internet, to start.

T2:  Get Americans out on the streets at lunchtime during the work week.  Just flood the streets and shut down downtown areas for an hour in protest, to start.

T3:  Get press coverage if possible.  Take pictures.  Also, videotape privately and post.

T4:  Hand out flyers outlining the crimes and high crimes committed by the O administration.  Give internet links to more information.

T5:  Make information packets that can be sent to friends and neighbors, with pictures asking the question:  Why isn't CNN and Fox and CBS and NBC not covering these protests?

T6:  Tell your friends and family how they can help take back America.  Get them involved.

T7:  If the gov't continues to ignore, then we'll go Egypt on them.

    Start.

Other plans can include recall elections for any elected official who votes in the wrong direction.  (Yes, a similar action to threatening violence to court decisions, but there is a distinction...recall elections are legal and peaceful.  It does threaten a politician's livelihood and encourages him to vote the will of the people, not his or her own pocketbook.)  Continue purging Monsanto poisons from our lands and do not buy products with any GMOs in them.  Boycott places like Wal-Mart that sell them without labeling them.  Boycott events where non-Americans are used as "security."  Picket banksters for being the root of much of the evil that has befallen America.

  • We had better come together and fight the real enemy that creates the so called ethnic cleansing as they refer to it. when it is nothing more than genocide of the useless eaters. When people finally figure out that media starts the wars and conflicts with disinformation we will finally shut the elites depopulation plan partially off. I say that as I watch a chemtrail plane cross the sky in front of me. I wonder when the riots start will we look back and find it was done as a distraction for something even worse. I really hate to even have to think this way. Damn

  • I am too.  Reverse racism/discrimination is not the solution.  It's time to get over it.  We either move forward as a united people of all races, or we as a nation will crumble.  Those (who aren't part of the elite) think there is something to gain by crashing the U.S. are sadly deluded.  There is nothing to gain from war of any type.

  • The media started it over a year ago when they put up the picture of Travon that was him at 9 years old looking wholesome and innocent instead of him at 17 years old, then O lit the match. The media needs to be prosecuted for in sighting a riot. If white people were making similar threats they would be in jail. I am so sick of racism.
