  • If the BD is at the ecliptic and is close enough to see because of its low light and most of us don't have infrared cameras, then we will see it.  Unfortunately, it will probably be getting close by that point in time.

  • Second sun....well what can I say, still don't see it and have given much thought to the concept of it coming at us from the south....basically the thought that keeps hitting me is simply, distance...the moon is relatively close to us so becomes obscured to certain parts of the world as it revolves around us but if you move it out further the time that it stays obscured actually diminishes due to the way line of sight works and unless it were coming directly from our south it would definitely become visible quite often we rotate and wobble quite a bit.  I live in Chicago and have not seen hide or hair of the BD but who can say for sure if an image is real or faked, with today's technology anything and I mean anything can be faked.... In summation the verdict is still out at least for me.
  • Time will tell ... lets c:-)

  • Keith...I also don't know...maybe its visible in certain parts of world at certain times...but just in case its brown dwarf....shouldn't it be visible only in infrared spectrum from that far off?
