  • Yes, just don't put it out too soon, there have been false starts followed by cold snaps.

I read recently that storms can be influenced by our collective thoughts.  Something to think about.

  • last spring came 1.5months sooner don't wait start you green house stuff now!

  • Early blooming as happened the past several years, ruined the peach crop around here.

  • We had sleet and snow yesterday and freezing rain today. Thank goodness it didn't last long. I noticed everything is trying to bloom already. Easter flowers were trying to bloom the middle of January.

Looks like the storms shifted more our way, it's starting earlier and going 24 hrs, rather than 12 hrs, up to two inches of sleet, 2/10 inch of ice.

  • We're experiencing warmer winters and earlier springs.  Got a sleet/ice storm coming in around 2 a.m., winter storm warning for about 12 hours, then we will warm up and it will melt.

  • This storm is temporary in nature meaning that temperatures will return to more normal melting any accumulated snow fall. I worked in Twin Cities 2 decades ago and this pattern reminds me of this.  The earth has tilted in axis and new weather patterns are appearing.  IMO.

  • Bummer, Jacks!

    Morris, stay safe and warm!

  • St Louis Mo where I live is about to be hit by a winter storm which is North of this storm front.
