An email from Sheldon Day...

I've received at least 4 M-CLASS Flare ALERTS already today..

M 1.4
M 2.8
M 4.4
M 1.5

Normally, I wait a few days to even get ONE Flare alert..

LATELY, the Flare alerts are coming into my inbox like 4-6 Times a day....

I suspect that Comet ISON is instigating the Sun.. In just a few more days, it'll be crossing Earth's Orbital path...

The scary part is if this continues after ISON catapults around our Sun (assuming it survives) is that Earth will be moving more into the firing line (ie from the Sun to ISON). Although not directly in line as ISON will be heading above the planetary plane I think we will be close enough to be affected!

Here's a thought from way out on left field - I wonder if the ET craft that are supposedly behind our Moon are there to protect Earth should it be required from any nasty solar blasts?
