The theories are just that. Theories. The language is considered and measured so as to give the impression of a reasonable approach. But increasingly, these new and 'speculative' theories pour out and, since the self-same scientists have exclusive access to all the tools and all the toys for close observation, they take on the personas of high-priests giving sermons on what we are, ahem, encouraged to believe. Give us the tools and we can decide for ourselves!
