I have read their story in Selection of Reader's Digest. The funny thing is that the magazine was in a doctor's waiting room. I read part of the article on my first visit and read the second part two weeks later on a second visit. The red cup that you see at the beginning of the video belonged to one child who, as an adult move to Montréal Canada. This story is very facinating because of the medical aspect and the survival aspect of it. At one point, the people of the village knew that they were hiding in the cave. Fearful of being arrested by the Gestapo, they cover the entrance of the cave with mud and debris hoping that the families would suffocate and die. the families woke up some days later and discovered the blockade. They did dug themselves out and sought help from this farmer.

The holocaust obviously happened as there are still witnesses/survivors alive and of course all the photos, films and documents from that time as proof.
