I couldn't agree more with this woman...and have felt that way ever since I began drawing my s.s. checks when I turned 62 - 8 years ago. Entitlement my ASS! We all DESERVE THAT MONEY THEY MADE US PAY... never giving us a choice, and now after they have illegally USED our money for their own benefit (which is ILLEGAL), they have the nerve to tell us it is an entitlement. BULLSHIT! We deserve to get it back, and should be getting interest tacked on to it for all they years they held on to it for their benefit.

Remember, not only did you and I contribute to Social Security but your employer did, too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that's close to $220,500.

Did you see where the Government paid in one single penny? We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a Government bank to insure you and I that we would have a retirement check from the money we put in, not the Government.
Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back. If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer's contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows), after 49 years of working you'd have $892,919.98.
If you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you're 95 if you retire at age 65) and that's with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month.
Another thing with me.... I have two deceased husbands who died in their 50's, (one was 51 and the other one was 59 before one percent of their social security could be drawn. I worked all my life and am drawing 100% on my own social security). Their S.S. money will never have one cent drawn from what they paid into S.S all their lives.

Entitlement my foot, I paid cash for my social security insurance! Just because they borrowed the money for other government spending, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout.
Remember Congressional benefits? free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days. Now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement payments entitlements?
We're "broke" and we can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, or Homeless. Yet in the last few months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile and Turkey. And now Pakistan...home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS.
Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed S.S. income' receive no additional federal aid nor do they get any financial breaks, while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of billions of $$$ and tons of food to foreign countries.
They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it's time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? It was supposed to be in a locked box, not part of the general fund.
Sad isn't it? …. 99% of people won't have the guts to forward this.

I am not counting on help either, but it would be needed to stop the radiation. Standing up is all we have left to stop the pedophiles from destroying the world. They are trying to destroy our morality in every way they can, They have all but removed God and Christmas. The rape in the military is now OK. The main character in Duck Dynasty is removed for not liking Homosexuality when 3 % of the country is gay. When Christians are arrested for praying in public and Muslims are allowed to shut down traffic in NY to pray to there satanic moon god we are going so far from what we are can we even get back.

What you say is so true, but we have to stand up at some point.
If we do not stand up now, then they will have us right where they want us.

I think they are missing the point that if they reduce our numbers they will also be reducing their cash cow.

It is certainly our fault but not whole fault we are to trusting and just plodding along hoping that were safe from these criminals while they have taken every spark of hope to change things. Don't you think that they have enough money to keep up their tyranny for a century or just poison us out of existence. Our planet is dying and so are we and we have no recourse to stop it yet. I really think we can stop them with non compliance, and just refuse to do what they want us to do, first step is to turn off the TV but we better get busy on the net to get the word out because they are locking it up as we speak with the NDAA 2014. O has one way to get his death care plan through and that is to shut down the bad PR that is on the net. We always have hope that most of the bad news about Russians and Chinese are just being let out to create fear and are not true. Even Fukushima is not as bad as it appears to be. If one looks at Hiroshima and Nagasaki today they are thriving cities and they should be a dead zone for thousands of years but they are not affected at all so how did that happen ?
Well, I just wrote a nice long comment and it was lost so I will summarize.
Our money was stolen from us because we have all been bamboozled because we have been brainwashed that it is our duty to support this government who is stealing money from us. Does that make sense?
It is our fault because we have all been asleep at the wheel.
The money will never be returned to us so it is best to stop feeding this criminal system in any way, unless of course you still approve of it.
Before you ream me for these comments please note that I was also bamboozled.
My SSA statement shows an astronomical amount of deductions collected over the past decades in the millions with an insulting benefit to be paid.
Now if we all wake up we will all simply stop feeding these criminals any way we can. Their intention is to take all they can and never pay it back.
Their intention is to live in luxury while we all starve.
Stop filing , paying, allowing deductions ( which is simple) stop giving anything to them.
It is time we starve them, and if enough of us were together we could do it.
Let them threaten us with retaliation, they are powerless to hurt us all.
I have been through the sucked dry and cast aside part. And I am not even near retirement age yet.
