  • OMG!!!!  I was just looking at our radar because of the thunder storms and there it was a big HARRP circle over us.
  • You should, Pat. It's better to be safe than sorry.
  • I am thinking of getting a tornado shelter myself.  There has been too much damage close by for my comfort.
  • I am relieved to hear you are okay, Alesiah.  The pictures from Tusaloosa/Birmingham were awful.  Trees were snapped like matchsticks.  One of those towns are simply gone.  How displaced can people feel when their entire town just disappears?

Kim, I doubt Obama can help with the size of destruction coming.  The Fed could print more money but, like Keith says, this can't go on much longer.  A warning is out that the impact of Japan should hit the markets in July.  Tornadoes are worsening (and the "don't-worry-about-it" conveyor belt implication is not a surprise--meaning those that said not to worry about it were ill-informed).  Our ecosystems are all delicate and when one big one goes, the domino effect comes into play.  It takes more time to see it, but if you know and are looking, it's there. Anyway, post your link as a blog, this is important for everyone to see.

Keith, I'm working on a tornado shelter.  I no longer think the ravine behind my house is an option, not if the severity is going that high. I am wondering if that map (with CCR playing) are more tornadoes in the making.

  • This is scary: http://thetruthbehindthescenes.wordpress.com/2011/04/28/warning-exp...

To all residents in or about and around the Midwest. Due to the death of the North Atlantic Ocean Conveyor belt, the United States will be experiencing super cells and it has now started and tornados and storms will be of massive size and enormous strengths. Do expect E-4 on up tornado strengths and the average will be around E-6. There will be more in the range of E-8 as summer approaches.

  • Cheryl, I am certainly very happy we were spared in this tornado outbreak.

Was the scarest thing ever back in 2003 when we lost an entire town off  I-44 down Tornado Alley, seeing the after-math first hand in Missouri, we can sympathize with the people of this horrible tornado outbreak event in 2011.. May our Eternal bless them giving them strength and courage to overcome, and rebuilt their homes and their lives..

    Here is an update: http://iowachase.com/2011/04/30/the-great-2011-tornado-outbreak-now...

  • That's for sure Cheryl - wait till the NM rips then the insurance companies will be crying to Obama for help!
  • I read that.  The one that hit Pulaski in VA caused $5 million in damages.  Insurance companies are going to start going bankrupt.
  • MSN says tornado destruction as bad as Katrina.
