This is a good post! Because people become complacent, oh it hasnt rained here much lately? Well the wind shear has been on our side so far, but the rains that would have normally came up to water central N. America from the hurricanes and TS havent done that job either. So just more drought for them, when the storms do come they will flood those droughted areas and create great runoffs and floods, causing more loss for all involved. Better the gentle rains in their season, and we havent had alot of that lately. Friends of mine in Florida were moaning and groaning about Debbie, i told them two weeks before it hit them that it would. Now the Sun is out and everyone is having fun? We should never in this day or age be complacent about such things and always prepare and keep our guards up! Especially for the children.
