  • Hi, again, everyone... Anyone know Doc on YouTube?  His latest 'safe' place is North Dakota...No major water sheds, no nuclear power plants, etc... My plans are still up in the air, and changing daily... The big concern going underground is flooding, which would be the case where I reside... so many things to think about... Any groups forming?  Have plenty of supplies and foodstuffs... just need a place to duck into...Thanks...
  • Byron,

Absolutely great thoughts shared, thank you.

  • Alex  I truely understand your fellings about  Arizona I lived there for 6 years and just left there last sept.as I was living under the Hoover in Laughlin NV a mile  away from Arizona. There is too much prejudice there, I was not happy with it myself, we are all in this together. So now you have gone from fuzzy blob to phantom. Your input here is exceptional. DIANNA  Globe is beautiful and the Hopi were a hearty people unlike us, I choose to not work that hard at survive. We all have our own unique problems getting ready and now that time is running short food water and seeds along with shelter have to take priority. My heart is with all of you. If the forest I live in catches fire I  will be a crispy critter, If Mt ST Helens sends ash here I will have trouble breathing, If yellowstone blows all bets are off, but who knows really what will happen, Like Cheryl said she does not fear anymore, look at it that way and your mind will lead you in the right direction much sooner.
  • Byron,

    Definitely understandable.

I overplay the whole issue about AZ, I have been there and love the place, just don't know much about survival location there.  I focused primarily on the central US since most of my family is concentrated there.  I still have hopes that they will be willing to join me.  I keep in touch with a few people in Iowa and SD who have given me an idea of how to get the move going because I know without a doubt that I will not be in Chicago when the time comes.....I figure if I can hold out for 2 more months I should be ok with the move.  My prayers are with each and every one of you and I hope your plans work out to perfection.

  • Thanks for all the replys... And Alex, you are a CUTE blob...

Byron, I was thinking high in the AZ mts, 5,000 ft above sea level, or so.. up east of Flag.  I have a friend near Globe, AZ, and that is 3,500 ft.. So what water problem.  Not thinking Phoenix, because when the Hoover breaks, Phoenix will be flooded for sure.. but the eastern part of the state is more mountainous. and the Hopi survived..

Raina, I also know Terral03, and follow him on YouTube, but the Ozarks, while they may have survived the last shift, are smack dab in the middle of the New Madrid, and I ask myself, why would I want to go there.. Again, his group is headed for high ground, but seems too unsettled for me..

I was hoping to find some fellow survivors in the NY mountains.  My daughter and her family are moving there, and I would be close to loved ones..

Raina, what part of TX?  I hope you are planning to skoot off to either New Mexico or Colorado for the short term.. That water is going to hit TX like a ton of bricks.. My cousin lives right on Padre Island, and she said Hurricaine Eric? I believe came through and the storm surge was relatively small... did not hit her place, but Galveston.. and washed away houses.. only 5 ft or so, I think she told me..  She finally is listening!  I have ben sending her links to all the videos.

Heard of groups forming in Canada.

I have been having a heck of a time getting people's attention... They all think I am wacko crazy looney... and then they laugh...  and I cry...

  • Byron, Alex is one of the smartest orange blobs we have here.
  • ALEX   it is hard to take you seriously when I look at your picture.  Arizona was one of my favorites for a while, but the water there will be a problem.
  • Staying where I am in PA (near MD) unless forced to leave for some reason.
  • Yes, Alex, that would be a concern.
  • Diana, I am from Texas.  I have been listening to Terral03.  There is a group that is headed to the Ozarks & will be in place by August 1.  I am not completely sure of this group.  Amy Evans had posted a link here to PlanetX townhall and Terral's info was there.  I wish I knew of other groups but none seem to have formed that I am aware of.
