I look back and can not see who I or any other soldier has helped except those who made war a monetary gain. War has to stop and the pain it inflicts on all of mankind must never be allowed to happen again. The stench of dead bodies covers the earth that is what Veterans Day is to me.

  • need to keep him locked up so he keeps quite.

  • Where's Hinkley when we need him????

  • My sister in Hawaii lives in an apartment complex with lots of veterans, she said they gathered up a large group to go pay their respects to their fallen brothers and they were turned away because the big O was there. America leads the war machine of the world and we are the only ones that can stop it.

  • We can all probably think back on way too many of those frustrating moments where our peers have expected us to share in their blissful evasion of reality. Unfortunately, the longer that we ignore the problems that face our species and leave them for someone else to deal with, the worse our predicament becomes. At first glimpse these issues may seem overwhelming and insurmountable; but simply knowing that they exist is the first step towards freeing your mind and creating a better world for all of us to live in. more... great read

  • Quote, Cheryl: "I think this question has been asked before, What if we gave a war and nobody came?  Well, next war, maybe no one should go."

A question to the question: What if all troops took the war(s) to these three city-states: City of Westminster, Washington D.C. and the Vatican?

  • No, I don't give up without a fight.  I am saying that the long-term neglect in managing corrupt politicians has given them the arrogance and power to oppress the citizenry.  Will the citizenry stand up to the sort of threat of chemical or biological attacks?  I doubt it, but my personal opinion is that if they don't, they will be facing far worse in the future.

I think the days of peaceful protest and redress of grievances are long gone.  It will take more than that.  For instance, look at how the gov't has ignored petitions to explain chemtrails.  They do as they want and blow off citizen concerns.

Talk of a second civil war in this country may not be far off the mark.  It would be horrible, just like any war, but it is probably the force needed to effect change now.  I think there will be a precipitating event that will act as a call to arms and then we will see people getting off their butts and doing something about it.

I don't think our forefathers' sacrifice will be in vain.  It probably will take the same amount of direness to push today's citizens to act, as it did our forefathers.

  • So you give up without a fight, huh. The united states of pussies.
Do you think our founders didn't know they would face certain death in the revolt against
England? Yet the took on a far superior force and had the tenacity to succeed.
Don't make their sacrifice be in vain!!!

  • We must not nuke Iran, or any nation for that matter.  Nuclear power needs to cease on this planet.  We destroy Iran, we destroy ourselves.  Not a very smart thing to do, is it?

It may already be too late.  Remember when Cindy Sheehan was in D.C. with her war protest and the Chinese embassy detected Tularemia in or near the D.C. mall?  This is what Americans will face if they dare to exercise their constitutional right to peacefully protest and try to address their grievances with the gov't.

  • I agree!!! However it is everyone's duty to get there butt in the street now while there still is a slim chance of doing something!!!! An attack on Iran will entail nukes and it
will effect every American in a most horrific way.

  • America as it is today is incapable of stopping another war.  If it does not change, here and now and radically, it is doomed.

We have no business in other sovereign nation's affairs.  We need to return to isolationist policies.  Globalism just doesn't work and is a pretext, just like "global warming," to allow us to put our nose in other nations' business and try to take over (or at least end up on top) of the world.
