its possible, i am no expert, but have been monitoring them for over 20 years. i think what's been happening is that the deep quicks, mostly in the south pacific region as not only loosened up the earth's crust and possibly changed some of the magma flows. quakes and volcano's are strating to show up in places that have no history at all. its hard to pin point when data from government sources continue to lie. a while back, a coupla months, there was suppose to be a 3.5 where i live, i am still waiting for it.

Joe, I hear your the resident expert in the EQ field.  I have an idea and was told you are the man for it!  :)

I posted a blog on the magna plumes and the tectonic plates.  My idea is this: to merge the map of the plumes and tectonic plumes with the recent EQ's.  My interest is this: are the magna plumes increasing the EQ's because Mother Earth's pulse is quickening?

i think it is a side effect of the big quakes in south america. according to nancy and the zeta's we should not worry. i think if the new madrid goes, yellowstone might go with it. take care my friend.
