I say the earth expanding theory still make good sense. Mother Earth knows our population is expanding and she always provides. Anyway, even though expanding I say all the continents are far from perfect jigsaw as this tube suggests but the basic shape is there and set. I think pole shift could have occurred along with subduction and protusions here and there around the globe. This clearly evidence in landscape geography which we see in cayons, cliffs and moutain ridges.

My thoughts on the reality of the Earth expanding, it only stands to reason that some level of expansion is occurring because of the fact that we live on a centrifuge.  Mass is distributed along the equator as we spin so expanding is pretty reasonable but to assume that its the primary cause of the current state of affairs when it comes to natural disasters is a definite leap of faith.  We don't know what's causing all the changes on the face of the planet of late and we may never find out but I am of the opinion that its an amalgamation of everything that is currently occurring such as the sun's activity picking up, a possible rogue planet prepping to zip through our solar system, the ice caps simply melting could be a major contributor to displacing our poles so who knows.  I for one don't and I am done speculating as to who does.  I simply have faith that major changes are on the way and that I must prepare.  Will I survive, who knows?  Am I in the right place, who knows?  Will we all be saved in the eleventh hour, who knows?  If the earth is expanding then I hope I am not standing on a soft spot when the tempo picks up :)

Sorry I missed it when you brought it to post, Teresa, because it IS most interesting. One problem with this ning is, if you don't check in regularly, things roll under, not to be seen unless you are diligent in making sure your read each and every entry.

 

I think there's subduction, twisting, and other adjusting that he says isn't so..... tho, as part of the plates adjustments - they are the effects of the cause, instead of being the causes.

 

We live in/on something wondrous --- how some can say there is no creator, all being from chance, is beyond me.

So earthquakes and volcanoes are the symtoms of this natural expansion process?

Do you think we'll get more land out of the earth growing --- or just more water covered (but shallower) areas? I'm trying to envision the earth many more millions of years from now, after it grows more.
