The Department of Justice has gone so far as to establish an official e-mail address for the public's use in providing "tips" to aid in that effort (Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov).

It amounts to this: Barack Hussein Obama and Eric Holder are now bringing the entire weight and power of the Federal Government to bear against a man who has been acquitted of all criminal charges by a jury of his peers in a fair trial. Moreover, the FBI's own investigation conducted last year found absolutely no evidence of racial bias on Zimmerman's part after agents interviewed 45 of his co-workers, neighbors and other acquaintances, even including his former fiancé.

In today's emotion-charged environment, the Justice Department's outrageous act serves to subvert the legal process and confirm in the minds of the deliberately misinformed and "low information" segment of the public that the Zimmerman trial's unanimous jury verdict was unjust. This amounts to a dangerous and completely irresponsible incitement to riot. Obama and Holder are deliberately trying to supplant the rule of law with the demands of an angry and ill-informed lynch mob, a lynch mob that they and their allies created and are now deliberately inciting.

Once again in the US you can be detained by the military indefinitely without trial.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges, one of the plaintiffs in Hedges vs. Obama responded to the overturn saying, “It is a black day for those who care about liberty.”

Truthdig.com quotes Hedges response:

This is quite distressing. It means there is no recourse now either within the Executive, Legislative or Judicial branches of government to halt the steady assault on our civil liberties and most basic Constitutional rights. It means that the state can use the military, overturning over two centuries of domestic law, to use troops on the streets to seize U.S. citizens, strip them of due process and hold them indefinitely in military detention centers. States that accrue to themselves this kind of power, history has shown, will use it. We will appeal, but the Supreme Court is not required to hear our appeal. It is a black day for those who care about liberty.

President Barack Obama should send Edward Snowden a “thank you letter” for bringing transparency to the administration, former Rep. Ron Paul says.

“Finally we’re getting the president to fulfill his promise about transparency so that’s pretty exciting to me,” he told CNN’s Piers Morgan on Monday night.

Paul said Snowden has “done a great service for telling the truth” about the government surveillance program.

“When you have a dictatorship or an authoritarian government, truth becomes treasonous and this is what they do if you are a whistle blower or you’re trying to tell the American people our country is destroying our rule of law or destroying our constitution, they turn it on and they say oh, you’re committing treason,” Paul said.

“For somebody to tell the American people the truth is a heroic effort.”

Ron Paul On Edward Snowden's Indictment

Today Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul made the following comment regarding the indictment of Edward Snowden’s indictment for espionage. The statement was posted on Dr. Paul’s  Facebook page:

My understanding is that espionage means giving secret or classified information to the enemy. Since Snowden shared information with the American people, his indictment for espionage could reveal (or confirm) that the US Government views you and me as the enemy.

With the talk of the banking system going down as a red flag to martial law, now this.

Computerworld - Starting at around 8.30 a.m. ET Thursday and continuing through Friday morning, dozens of major Wall Street firms will come under a series of massive cyberattacks aimed at crippling financial services networks around the country.

Fortunately for the firms -- and their customers -- the attacks will simply be a drill, codenamed Quantum Dawn 2. The effort is designed to test cyber incident response and coordination capabilities within the U.S. financial services sector.

"It is somewhat ironic that a Federal Reserve which is now more committed to "forward guidance", transparency and communication than ever in history, just announced the resignation of Krishna Guha, the head of NY Fed's Communications Group, aka the head PR contact for all media. More importantly, the resignation took place without a handy substitute ready."

Hmmm.  Resigned so fast no replacement was found.  Janet Napolitano did that too, just recently.  Of course, maybe the NY Fed is getting ready to go incommunicado.

“I object to the monumentally disproportionate campaign being waged by the US governmenticon1.png against Edward Snowden, while no effort is being made to identify, remove from office and bring to justice those officials who have abused power, seriously and repeatedly violating the Constitution of the United States and the rights of millions of unsuspecting citizens.”

Among its reports, Trayvon Martin’s drug use, explaining how the Skittles and Arizona Watermelon Fruit Juice Cocktail drink he carried that night are ingredients that, when mixed with dextromethorphan (DXM) cough syrup, create “Lean”, a concocted high which can cause psychosis and aggression over the longer term. According to the autopsy report, Martin’s liver showed damage consistent with DXM abuse.
