Trust is sadly lacking these days. Remember President Ronald Reagan? He was a trustworthy president. He never once had to say, "Look at me" or "Trust me." His actions spoke volumes.
In my travels through cyberspace, I have found a few trustworthy, honorable souls. John DiNardo is one. Jim Rawles of survivalblog.com is another. And, of course, my Administrators, who have all been with me since this group started. There are others, I'm sure, though few and far between.
Actions speak louder than words and builds trust over time. These folks have earned my trust.
I've known Jim for five years. Yesterday, I passed my fifth anniversary as survivalblog's Economic Editor, aka "the Economatrix". (See http://www.survivalblog.com/biographies.html for Jim's biography. Scroll down for mine.) I am proud to have been able to contribute, in my small way, to the success of survivalblog.com. It currently is closing in on 57 Million Unique Visits. Quite an achievement. Also notable is the staff he has put together. (See the biographies link above.) His survival information is solid, verified, and can be trusted.
I've known John since I started this website, three years now. He is a brilliant educator (former physics teacher) and retired electrical engineer. His passion and devotion to educating the world about Planet X and other issues is tireless. I believe his theory about the PX system being out by Saturn is correct. There is too much going on out in that neck of the galactic woods for there not to be a powerful intruder. I was honored to assist him with some research, which helped him to verify a key point in that regard.
And I have never known him to have a profit motive, whatsoever. He freely gives of his time and energies. He is a service-to-other person. Thus, the diss in the ZT article is nothing but defamation. For what purpose? To get people to not listen to him. Used to control the members and moderators from seeing real research, and to "handle" any inquiries about him. In disinformation terminology, it is called "dead agenting." They assassinate his character by innuendo and outright lies.
Both John and Jim get bashed because they are, in a terrifying word to the government, effective at what they do. But they don't need to market themselves as the most trustworthy source of information. Why? Because their actions speak louder than words. There is no need for the truly trustworthy to self-promote. Word gets around.
So, what do you think of those who feel they have to tell people they are trustworthy or are the most trustworthy source of information, who cherry-pick their own invented information to prove their own statement that they are trustworthy? Using ZetaTalk to prove ZetaTalk is invalid. It proves nothing.
If someone says (1) planets stop rotating around the sun, (2) shallow trenches are safe during an extinction-level event, (3) gravity pushes things up, not down, and the same person then proclaims everything s/he has said is true with no proof except that some nice aliens told him/her that's how it really is, would you believe it? Would you distrust your own eyes and your own experiential knowledge? And if you dare question it, a new lie is invented to prop up the old one. And on it goes.
If they have to tell you how trustworthy they are, then it is time to either walk away, or start digging to find out what the truth really is. "Zetas right again!" is one of their brainwashing mantras. It is likely not true, based on what was discussed above. It is smoke and mirrors for the unwary, the uneducated, the gullible, the naive, and it snares people into its web. (Be aware, though, that all disinformation contains kernels of truth. That's what gives it an aura of authenticity, albeit fake.)
Zetatalk is plagued with lies and inaccuracies, per Nancy Lieder's own admissions. See How Can You Trust ZetaTalk When, According To Lieder, The "Zetas" Purposely Mislead Her? This author also has had up-close and personal experience with her and the ZetaTalk propaganda and know it fairly well. See http://apocalyptichousewife.angelfire.com for the proof. Lieder's antisocial website, http://poleshift.ning.com, is a study in fascism.
In closing, remember the words of Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." Why? Because normal, decent folks (those with functioning consciences, who know right from wrong) have a hard time believing anyone could lie so audaciously. But, pathological liars can do it convincingly. Plus repetition reinforces memory and, by spamming the internet with ZetaTalk, the repetition is thus magnified by many times. Promoting yourself (or a body of work) as trustworthy when the facts don't support the assertion is an audacious lie.
