(NaturalNews) Water is increasingly hard to come by in drought-stricken California, where many farmers are struggling to get enough water just to pay the bills. But the situation in the Golden State is far worse than many people realize, according to new reports, as underground aquifers that take decades to recharge are being sucked dry, and water infrastructure that has long sustained the agricultural growing regions of the state continue their collapse.

Writing for The Washington Post (WP), journalist Joby Warrick draws attention to what many scientists say is an unprecedented collapse of California's vast water infrastructure, which is marked by an elaborate system of canals, reservoirs and wells that transfer water from the mountains and other areas to the Central Valley. Altogether, the state contains some 27 million acres of cropland. This system is now failing, say experts, and the consequences will more than likely be unparalleled in California's history.

According to the report, many of California's underground aquifers, which are typically drawn upon as a last resort when all else fails, are now the go-to for watering food crops throughout the state. In some areas, these aquifers have dropped by as much as 100 feet, an unprecedented decline that, even if the drought suddenly ended, would likely take several decades or longer to fully recharge.

"A well-managed basin is used like a reserve bank account," stated Richard Howitt, a professor emeritus of resource economics from the University of California at Davis, to WP. Howitt co-authored a study published back in July that estimates a 5.1 million acre-feet loss of water this year from California's underground reserves, a volume the size of Lake Shasta, the state's largest water reservoir.

"We're acting like the super rich who have so much money they don't need to balance their checkbook."

But many farmers have no choice. They either have to pull the water now to save their crops or face potential bankruptcy and the loss of their farms. Because of the immense scarcity of water this year -- some 60 percent of California is now recorded as being at the highest level of drought, dubbed "exceptional" -- many farmers didn't even receive a share from the infrastructure.

One such farmer is Joe Carrancho, who grows rice in Willows, California. The 71-year-old lost 25 percent of his usual water allotment this year -- and he is considered lucky, since some farmers received no water at all -- and is now struggling to make payroll. He is also having to make payments on a $500,000 rice harvester that, despite the water losses, still costs the same every month.

"I have 25 percent less production, but no one is giving me a 25 percent break in my bills," he told WP.

Lawmakers propose drastic water restrictions to avoid collapse

Agriculture is by far the largest water consumer in the state, representing more than 40 percent of California's water usage. Even with about 35 million residents, California's urban areas only account for about 9 percent of overall water usage, which is minimal in the larger scheme of things.

But state lawmakers are moving to impose tighter water restrictions, including a $7.5 million bond measure that, if passed this fall, would expand the state's reservoir system and improve water recycling and other conservation efforts.

"We've reached a tipping point where the surface water is no longer enough, yet there are increasing demands from both agriculture and the environment," added groundwater management expert and hydrologist Graham Fogg to WP.

We of the Arcturian Group once again come to greet you during these times of seeming confusion and change. You are powerful beings of Light but when in the physical, do not remember this. The human experience causes many to think of themselves simply as flesh that will die and that is nothing after death. Because of this, these dear ones often relentlessly seek lives that encompass everything they believe to be good and important regardless of consequences. You often hear the phrase; "You only have one life so live it to the fullest." Well yes, do live to the fullest, which means living in a consciousness of truth and not human concepts. You do have only one life on earth--one at a time.

You have all lived hundreds of lifetimes. You who read and resonate with these messages are old souls. Know that you are able to resonate with the energy of higher truths because they are your attained state of consciousness--otherwise messages of truth would make no sense. Energy flows and resonates with like energy which is why you are now discovering that certain people, foods, entertainments etc. no longer seem important--your resonance has changed while these things have not--you no longer resonate with them.

We come once again to speak of love, but this time with regard to love of self.
Most human beings carry some sense of self-loathing or low self esteem which often manifests outwardly through acts of violence, suicide, abuse, and actions of a negative nature or in a lesser degree in the refusal to accept help, gifts, compliments, or love.

In order to love in the highest sense, one's own self must be included which often proves to be more difficult than the act of loving others. As an individual begins to awaken, he becomes aware of past experiences where he failed to meet the mark--memories of saying or doing things that now shock and shame him. He becomes very aware of human failings and begins to compare himself to what he believes he "should be". Each time he reads or hears how a person must love self, he hears a little voice that says; "Oh, but remember you did or said this or that...you are not worthy of love. You are a bad person".

Forgiveness is the first step in loving self. The basis for forgiveness is the understanding that a person can only live and act from their attained state of consciousness. Issues creating shame result from actions that were taken in a different state of consciousness --you are no longer that same place which is why you may react with shame regarding some past action--you are seeing from a whole new level.

Human beings learn from trial and error in the earlier phases of evolution which is what karma is all about. Karma is simply the balancing of energies, a way to learn and experience all facets of whatever particular energy an individual has set in motion. At some point in the evolutionary process, karma is no longer needed because one begins to live out from a higher level and be taught from within.

As serious students of truth you have been meditating, sending Light to Gaia and her kingdoms, and doing what you are guided to do and study. However, many of you have never forgiven yourselves for real or perceived faults and actions, or seriously and consciously considered what it means to love yourselves. Instead, the idea of loving self is pushed aside and ignored while your personal sense of self (ego) continues to carry around the belief of being "unworthy" or "less than" like a heavy ball and chain, lifetime after lifetime.

Even for long time spiritual students, the idea of loving self may feel inappropriate and like ego action-- which it is not. These feelings simply represent a third dimensional concept of what it means to love self. In order to move more deeply into living, moving, and having your being in the higher frequencies of truth and love, you must include yourself for ALL are in and of the One--you as much as anyone else no matter how "holy" another may seem.

In your times of quiet and meditation, make a practice of going through all of your chakras, bringing the golden/white light down through each from above the crown with the intention that each chakra be opened, cleared, balanced, and aligned as the Light enters it. When you reach the solar plexus which is the seat of personal identity, pay special attention to the honoring of Self, stating your intention to clear and release any and all old energies still being held and acting as blockages within this chakra. The memory of some person or experience may pop into your awareness indicating something needing to be cleared. You may remember some experience or person who activates feelings of inadequacy or self loathing. Whether or not anything comes to mind at that time, state your intention to release with love, any and all negative energetic cords that may still be attached to you from people or situations in this life or past lives. Visualize Light flooding your whole being and especially the solar plexus chakra and then let it all go.

Loving self does not refer loving the ego self although you must also learn to accept and not resist that part. The ego self is not the real you, but is a perceived, false sense of self that has built up over lifetimes lived within the beliefs of being separate from Source and all others. Loving self means acknowledging your Divine nature and forgiving any missteps taken while in ignorance of this. Loving self means having the courage to admit when you are wrong while not berating yourself regarding some issue of the past. Loving self means to live out from who and what you really are in spite of appearances. It is a taking back of the innate power you unconsciously allowed to be taken from you.

During the process of learning to love self, try to avoid going into resistance with regard to the thoughts that may come into to your awareness . When a spiritual student begins to recognize and acknowledge his Divine nature, he often finds that there also comes that determined ego voice whispering of how short he falls of the truths he is learning and reminding him of the many ways in which he has shown that his nature is not Divine. There will come the temptation to resist these thoughts, telling oneself; " I must not allow this voice to govern me. Go away, I will not accept these thoughts.", etc. etc.

Resistance simply gives a power to these impersonal ego suggestions. A better inner response would be; "Yes, I have believed myself unworthy, and yes, I still carry guilt and feelings about certain things I have done in the past, but I now choose to release these old energies and move ever more deeply into an awareness of who and what I really am...to accept that I AM THAT I AM."

Learning to recognize and ignore the ego blather will begin to shift your belief system. It won't be long before you have reprogrammed habitual thinking and begun to trust in the truth because you now realize that you not only have, but are the power and presence to be what you are and do what you came to do.

For most, change does not happen overnight, the programs of separation and duality have been long in place--programs that led you to accept that you were less than others and that only those with money, looks, and power, education, or "holiness" were important or worthy of love. ALL are in and of the ONE. The appearances and circumstances of daily living for each and every person has to do with their pre-incarnation choices.

You are ready dear ones, ready to embrace and begin to actually love your selves through acknowledging that you are Beings of Light learning and evolving through third dimensional experiences.

Once you unlock the door of loving self as SELF, you will discover that this is the long hidden key, the Holy Grail, hidden where none find it until ready and thus you open the way for Divine Love and all its qualities to flow infinitely within and without.

Lights over Tamu Massif (super volcano in Pacific)

UFO's?  Or something related to the super volcano?  Eye witness account from a pilot:

"Last night over the Pacific Ocean, somewhere South of the Russian peninsula Kamchatka I experienced the creepiest thing so far in my flying career.
After about 5 hours in flight we left Japan long time behind us and were cruising at a comfortable 34.000ft with about 4,5 hours to go towards Alaska.
We heard via the radio about earthquakes in Iceland, Chile and San Francisco, and since there were a few volcanos on our route that might or might not be going off during our flight, we double checked with dispatch if there was any new activity on our route after we departed from Hongkong.
Then, very far in the distance ahead of us, just over the horizon an intense lightflash shot up from the ground. It looked like a lightning bolt, but way more intense and directed vertically up in the air. I have never seen anything like this, and there were no flashes before or after this single explosion of light.
Since there were no thunderstorms on our route or weather-radar, we kept a close lookout for possible storms that might be hiding from our radar and might cause some problems later on...."

Ra: The Seeds of Peace

We want to give you a bit of information so that you will be in tune with what is going on in the world behind the scenes, so that you can understand what real changes have occurred and what you can expect because of them. First, let us start with the revaluation of currencies and what forces are at work, so that you can better understand the timing of the revaluation and why it has not been permitted to unfold earlier.

Let me just say that if you were in our place, seeing what we see, I truly believe you would have made the same decisions we have made so far. Of course, it was our hope to encourage the passage of laws and regulations as early as possible to protect the funds you will be receiving, to prevent fraud and trickery on the part of the banks. I assure you this was a serious concern in recent years, as the computer systems of the financial institutions became more sophisticated, and the ability to “disappear” enormous amount of money became easier and more common. A secondary complication involved the bribery and ownership of lawmakers and judges who assured that no slight-of-hand, no matter how egregious, would be punished, providing the criminal behavior was protected by enormous “gifts” to those in charge of oversight.

So you see, dishonesty and graft were not just rampant. It would have been a guaranteed fiasco if the funds had been released even 3 months ago. It was a fluid situation, characterized by an ebb and flow - one minute the White Hats would develop a new ability to detect fraud in the computer systems, and the next it would be disguised by ever more complex systems of undetectable shenanigans. Now, understand that we were fully aware of who the culprits are and what they were trying to do. It was not a problem of detection for us. The real problems were with putting a stop to the cabal by using legal means, so that those on the ground would be able to identify and prosecute the criminals.

We wished to prevent a situation in which large amounts of money (and we are talking about trillions and trillions here) would be confiscated and would have to be recovered. It would have been a heart-breaking experience for those who were so ready to create a new world to be dragged back into the frustration of having to fight off the cabal to just keep what you were given. It would have created a terrible pall over the whole process. We wanted to avoid that, but still declare the release of the funds as early as possible.

The second difficulty of which you are now more aware is the problem of establishing stability and a reliable form of representative government in the countries which will benefit most from the revaluation (as opposed to the stability the U.S. has supported in the past - that which is achieved through the suppression of the people by a strong dictator). This is one of the primary objectives of having this RV in the first place - the rebuilding and restoration of a viable way of life in the war-torn places where conflict caused such misery to the people. This is the main reason why the currencies we have told you about (Vietnam, Iraq, Indonesia, Zimbabwe) will be the focus of efforts to lift the economies of each of those countries that have been so ruthlessly suppressed in the recent past.

You, Dear Ones, will be the center of the vortex of energy which will lift all boats, restoring confidence and encouraging the planned shift toward democratic governance. As you may be aware of, it is easier to create major change when a country has been pushed to the brink of dissolution in its financial, educational and social structures. A successful result will set an example for the whole world to celebrate and follow.

Iraq will become a world leader, as it rises to reclaim its place as part of the cradle of civilization which goes back 13,000 years. The ancestral memories remain in that part of the world, the deep spiritual connection which once guided the development of art, music, literature and science, the beacon which was intended to lead the human race out of darkness. That promise will be fulfilled at last, as the power of the cabal is defeated.

You have been warned of the “false flag” operations which are intended to distract and mislead you into thinking the Middle East is a dark, hopeless pit of violence, immutable to change. I must warn you, my friends, that, like 9/11, those gruesome, contrived made-for-TV episodes of violence and unspeakable brutality are frequently simply staged with paid actors, mixed with recycled clips of former wars and civil conflicts.

Like the famous “We don’t want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud,” they are cabal-generated scare tactics to inspire fear, paranoia, and the willingness to wage war in far-flung parts of the world. Most of these false-flag operations are instigated by secret governments in the West and exported to the Middle East. The purpose, of course, is political control, economic supremacy and the massive profits which war generates.

Is the recent rash of fakery working? If you watch the for-profit media, you might think so, but there is a tell-tale indicator which reveals otherwise. There are now so many private investigative journalists on the internet that every time footage of violence is presented on TV, there is an immediate counter-force of investigators who begin with the presumption that there is likely subterfuge behind it. Their cool heads and knowledge of both history and video sources pay off in providing a true picture of the scams which will no longer simply be blindly accepted by the people who are being asked to give of their treasure and their lives.

This tendency alone - to be alert to deceit - is a new phenomenon in the West. It is a sign of the great awakening which is just now spreading to all the prosperous nations where staying asleep was more acceptable than objecting to one’s condition. Of course, that attitude was reinforced by the concerted efforts to dumb down humankind with vaccinations, fluoride-treated water, poison-laced clouds and toxic foods and medicines.

The evidence that this era is in its last days is that I am writing these messages to you, you are reading them with recognition, and we no longer fear being shut down or our sources being assassinated for discussing these things. The cabal is far too busy just trying to survive and avoid prison to bother with all the awakened Lightworkers who now hold the key to the growing march toward peace and justice in the world. The scales have tipped, Dear Ones, and the end of darkness is in sight. Our tricky balancing act of trying to release the funds to our Lightworkers while still arresting and investigating the cabal ringleaders has finally wound down to the last clean-up details.

Iraq is well on its way, under the steady hand of the new Prime Minister, al-Abadi, a decent and honest man, and the banksters have been convinced that theft and greed are no longer the path of least resistance. Our White Hats have prevailed, Beloved Ones, and will continue their good work until the last criminal has been held responsible for their selfish and destructive deeds. A new form of Justice and economic freedom will be yours, as we quietly shift into the new currency systems and the NESARA and GESARA reforms which will establish transparency and equal treatment under the law.

I am here to assure you, my dear friends and fellow Lightworkers, that it is your new day dawning. The efforts to clean up the mess left by the cabal have been successful because you have done your own work to clear away the dark shadows which controlled your own thinking. You are creating the critical mass needed to shift into the New Golden Age. We could not have done it without your meditations, your conscious efforts to awaken and take part in the new group consciousness, and your generosity to one another in this difficult interim period. This has raised the vibration on the planet enough to jump one timeline after another, in the direction of our Dream.

Do not flag in the last moments of the marathon. You are approaching the finish line, and we are cheering you on with endless Love in our hearts. I am Ra, your mentor and guide, the one who looks forward for you until you are able to be in our eyes, seeing yourselves as we do, loving yourselves as we do, from the perspective of your Higher Self. I love you without end, as I have through all eternity.

The Art of Being in the World but Not Of the World

But the fact of the matter is, life rarely goes exactly as we expect it to. There are traffic jams, people run late, people say things we don’t like, we may feel sick, our family may get sick, etc… The sooner we come to terms with the fact that not every single event in our lives is going to go exactly like we planned we are able to connect with the calm amidst life’s storms. Our inner core, the peaceful center that resides in all of us, has no attachment to outcomes. It doesn’t live in the “should have” or the “shouldn’t have”, it literally takes life as it comes, therefore it rarely is disturbed by the unexpectedness of day to day events.

Sananda: Dreams Really do Come True

Sananda:

Here we are, once again, on the brink of something Earth-shaking, literally. Those of you who are waiting impatiently for the revaluation of currencies to take place are envisioning your own versions of the unknown. We cannot predict exactly what the changes will bring, because you all have free will, and will use your blessings as you see fit. How the cumulative effect of this massive influx of wealth in the hands of Lightworkers will affect the planet as a whole has yet to be seen.

I want to remind you once again that the purpose of this wonderful event is to bring freedom and prosperity to the entire world. Now, let us examine what we mean by prosperity. I would like to discriminate between prosperity and luxury. We hope that the new prosperity will not inspire you to go out and buy luxury products which are the current cause of the poisoning of planet Earth. We encourage you to look carefully at your intended purchases to decide whether you want to continue the 3D consumer orgy, or whether you would prefer to promote the shift to new attitudes and beliefs through your interim choices.

This of course is what we have counted on Lightworkers to do all along. Why would you change your ethics and your goals just because you have a new, fat bank account? Does your current life really require that you purchase a shiny new luxury automobile, or would you rather feed a family of four for 3 years in a poor village, or pay a teacher’s salary for a year? Would you like to establish a scholarship for ten college students to attend a state university, or would you prefer to buy a bigger house?

You, our dear Boots on the Ground, have been feeling the pinch of living without because of your hard work over the past few years. Many of you have given up profitable jobs to dedicate more time to your healing work, and you have spent many hours every week involving yourselves in supporting and communicating with others to help raise the vibration around you. I encourage you to remember that this work came from the deepest and truest place in your heart, because this is who you really are.

Do not abandon that vision, even for a moment, when the flood of money comes into your open hands. Stay the course, Dearest Brothers and Sisters. The decisions you make now are the ones which will either feed the cabal ideas and programs, or it will wipe out those old shadows forever. Do not allow yourselves to fall back into the seduction of supporting those corporations and institutions which you have fought against so rigorously in recent months.

You see, this blessing that will be put into your hands very shortly will determine whether the dark programs will be supported or whether they will die a natural death from being ignored and unused. Will you support factory farms, for instance, by going out to dinner for one last splurge of beef, chicken and imported GMO vegetables, accompanied by potatoes fried in over-processed saturated fat-laden vegetable oil? Or will you support your local organic farm?

Will you take a vacation at the most luxurious resort where the sewage washes into the sea and the local people are paid $10 a day to cook and clean up after you, while you plan your philanthropic adventures to come, or will you maintain your group consciousness as it applies to the helping staff everywhere you go?

You may be feeling that this is a distasteful topic for someone like me to be discussing; why should Sananda talk about such trivial and distasteful topics? Must we discuss how the cow you eat was butchered, or the suffering of the poor workers, when you have waited so long for a lovely vacation, and you deserve to enjoy it? Ah, but you see, my dear friends, this is the very thinking that allowed the cabal to maintain control over all the important areas of life on Earth.

Here is the crux of it: Mindfulness, and being of service to others is not deprivation. It is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is the nectar of Life. When you find your purpose - your precious life’s work, there is no luxury or pleasure that could overshadow it or diminish it. There is no indulgence that could improve on the feeling of fulfillment you will achieve by using your blessings to lift others out of want by providing schooling, clean food, fresh water, and the hope that life will never again be a matter of survival. You will all thrive together.

You have all begged us to intervene, to make life better for your brothers and sisters, to stop wars, and to provide better conditions for others around the world who are suffering. We have done that. We have arranged for you to have the funds to do just that. Together, you can stop war by combining your resources, providing what the combatants truly need - be it an escape from oppression or more tolerable living conditions, or more expansive education, or decent infrastructure improvements to alleviate the urgent, unclean conditions they have lived with so long.

Dignity. This is what people are rioting about, taking up arms to fight for, and attacking those around them to unleash their resentments about. Ferguson, Syria, Palestine, Kenya, Ukraine, and so many more places in the world are now either awakening and taking to the streets, or are the targets for mercenary thugs who have been paid by the cabal to stir up trouble. In either case, there are conditions on the ground worth objecting to. These are the places where our Lightworkers can make a real difference by bringing Light, Love and desperately needed resources to those in need.

As you move across the planet, beginning with your own families and friends, expanding outward to establish friendships and create networks of caring Lightworkers, you will expand your own thinking, open your hearts even more, and begin a worldwide tsunami of good will and friendship which will begin to heal old wounds and establish new possibilities, the likes of which you can only now vaguely sense.

You, dear friends, have invested in your own freedom, and with it you will find ways to set others free. Imagine the power of 5 million Lightworkers, suddenly unleashed from the bonds of tedium and enslavement to meaningless work, free to go forth gently, with sensitivity and Love, to build the new and glorious Golden Age we have all envisioned so fervently for so long.

You see, it is not the money that will set you free; it is the possibility of being free from any constraints of the old dark agendas that will allow you to finally experience the feeling of exploding into your true potential - doing the work for which you were trained, but which had been co-oped by the old system. You all have marvelous skills, honed in the “salt mines” - the slavery-for-all system you were so accustomed to. Now you will be able to use those skills to shape your own world, in the vision of Paradise you have held secretly in your hearts since you were born.

Every one will be needed; every one will add their precious, unique flavor to the new group consciousness which will be built from your deepest sense of fairness, equality, compassion, forgiveness and Love. No one will be left out or diminished by the New World. With the rising energies will come a rising sense of hope, peace of mind and dignity. Everyone needs to feel a sense of belonging, everyone needs to be needed. The freedom which will come with your Prosperity packages will allow all to contribute, to learn the deepest form of self-respect which comes from being a part of a truly inspired group consciousness.

It is impossible for me to describe to you how deeply fulfilled and delighted I am to look forward down this glorious timeline you have created for yourselves and see the seeds you have planted coming to fruition. You will at last experience the Peace On Earth you have longed for. You will see an end to poverty and want. You will each be a part of the shaping and building of this new era we have envisioned together.

I am filled with love overflowing for each of you, the Brothers and Sisters of Light who have walked with me, shared my hopes and dreams, my pain and yours, my determination and yours. We have joined together as One to create this incomparable triumph, the beginning of the New Golden Age. It is truly our birthday, all of us. Together, we will begin a new life.
