Take God out and it wouldn't mean as much, IMO. The message is surrounded by and is surrounding one's connection with God.

Paul  sometimes I find your information very interesting and the rest of the time I wonder if we are on the same planet. I think this person had a very honest prediction but was blinded by their own fear of God, religious beliefs. So they tied them together to explain what they were seeing.
