  • So, Peter, it's a composite picture?

  • He must have a special lens to take night picture. All those picture are breathtaking.

  • The images were taken "over the course of 2012" - so as we have only just entered the age of Aquarius - I'm not sure that that is the reason Cheryl (although I do understand/believe the shift is not instantaneous and occurs over a period of time).

    Is the curve due to the Earths atmosphere? Or has the photographer used a fish-eyed lens?

    Whatever the reason the images are stunning.

  • Great observation!  I wonder if it has to do with the shift to the age of Aquarius, being in a different part of the galaxy gives us a different viewpoint?

  • I have never seen the Milky Way bent like that!  We always view it on end.  That looks like a view from the top.  Has our entire solar system moved?
