HughesNet a Satellite type has been down started 6pm est yesterday so it must of been pretty quite with out me during that time right. ;D
Guess that counts.....
Over the course of the last week or so, I have been called names, ridiculed and outright put down because some of my opinions differ from Byron's. This was the case regarding me saying that there would be minimal impact to our electrical grid over the course of the last week or so of intense solar activity. Byron, once again felt the need to tell me that its due my lack of knowledge/understanding that I simply don't see what is obvious. I guess he is right up to a point. Byron, you obviously don't see that you are wrong up to a point. That we both like to share our opinions but that the main difference lies in method of presentation. I try to stay impartial and you definitely becoming gung-ho about what you feel emphatic about which if you haven't noticed has caused us to clash. Please, at least note that I am not always wrong.

Sorry to hear that. No outages here in Chicago, so I guess decentralization of the grid system has happened to an extent...Like I said....and there hasn't been wide spread outages reported as of yet....like I said...and mind you this is not me being a prognosticator....just know a bit more than I tend to get credit for.....
Just on the news. Power outages in a lot of counties here in Arkansas.

Satellite's going in/out fluctuating Like Sat TV's, Internet by Sat(Hughs N., Dish N., Direct, etc,,,
Any blackouts of note anywhere....we still have two more days of possible disruptions.
Nothing of note in my neck of the woods.....
My friend only gave this info, the faults don't go into Canada.
