corporate profits are soaring. companies are sitting on billions of dollars of cash. and still they've yet to amp up hiring or make major investments- - the missing ingredients for a strong economic recovery.

not only that they also know by hiring people will spend money but not necessarily from there companies so they won't make the profits. remember when we got a tax rebate. people spent that money and helped the economy. greedy ceo's will be able to use there money for toilet paper after the shift. because that's all it will be worth.
