Me neither, but now according to an email sent to the SKYVIEW team there is a meteor the size of a small town to hit on Monday the 17th. Not exactly the sort of collapse I had imagined may come from reading the article by Clif, but it would certainly fit the bill for Shocktober. Probably it is a hoax email, but it strikes me as strange that the date falls on the 17th. Lots of converging dates happening now, it seems. Keeping us distracted? I know guys, I'm not fond of dates either. At least with Clif, as Keith noted, he admits that many times his dates are off. I was just thinking what Byron was, that something has to break soon. So much seems to be converging right now... Even when his interpretation of the webbots is wrong I have always thought Clif's message to be interesting and relevant. This article was no exception for me, especially the part about a hidden break away civilization using reverse engineered alien tech.
