  • I have to back Lothar that to the average person this map is misleading and without a legend or being a meteorologist red would mean heat. In the trade red is extreme makes sence.

  • As long as you keep us updated on weird weather patterns I will very happy Norad!!!  :)

  • I appreciate your explanations as you bring it to a level all can understand.  :)

  • Thank you Norad!  I think I get it now.   So, if what you say is correct, then the pic posted above means that there could possibly be an ice storm?  Or that the temp there is very cold?  :)

  • AHHH, I was under the impression that everything puts out minute amounts of radiation ..... radio, microwave, infrared, ultraviolet, gamma, particles, atoms, pretty much anything that deals with an electromagnetic field on any level quantum included put out radiation.....but there are many smarter people than I who may have a slightly better answer.....

  • Thanks, Alex.  Nice chart.

The question I had was something Keith said, where it sounded like a word was dropped out.  He said... Radars do have levels of radiation.  But it sounded like he may have meant... Radars do NOT have levels of radiation.

So, Keith, which did you mean?  Just curious.

  • Keith, may I ask who you are refering to because there has been a lot said on this blog but alot of people.

  • So Norad, what is your interpretation of the posted image?  I am always open to any theory as long as it makes sense.  :)

I get that they used red and it can be misinterpreted to mean heat, but what is it supposed to mean in this instance?

  • Above my head to be honest....

  • As for the image above it details something happening down south.....good or bad, I am not qualified to determine but I do believe that Brian is, seeing as how he works with these types of images on a daily basis, just maybe we should take his word for it.  Unless of course he is a debunker then please continue believing whatever feels right :)  Sorry Brian couldn't help myself.  But I do agree with you.
