  • Keith at least the Irish government asked for answer from the Vatican. In Canada, this did not occur. The victims hardly got support from the government.

Byron, in the province of Québec, during the many years, the RC Church controlled everything: books people read, and what subject was thought in schools. Nun and priest were even in a number of committees overseeing the well being of us, the sinners. Women who had babies at of wedlock, were forced to leave their babies for adoption.  If both parents died, the family was split and children were placed in convents or adopted depending on their age. You were excommunicated if you befriended people from other religions.

First Nation children were beaten, verbally and physically and sexually abused. It was also a practice to sterilize First Nations women after they had a child. They only discovered too late what had been done to them.

  • Here is my nasty link also. http://iantimberlake.wordpress.com/2011/10/18/300000-babies-stolen-...

  • Oh Byron this is so sick. I cannot believe that such thing has happen. Well it appear that it is time to pay for what they did.

First Nation people in Canada have asked numerous time for official excused for sexual abuse done by nuns and priest. The answer have varied from total avoidance to "we will not talk about something that was done in the past. Yet the burden of sexual abuse is still present with in First Nations communities and has contributed to the division between generations. Alcohol and violence are unfortunately the results of these abuses.

My sister told me that CBC news have talked briefly about this First Action Lawsuit. Enough is enough.

  • Try this for sick, A Catholic hospital was just caught after years of selling children after they told the parents their child had died  while being  born. Many empty coffins are being dug up and it goes back to the Vatican. I could not even imagine anything that vile.

  • It is time to bring justice to the church and crown for all the children of the world that have suffered at their hand of sexual and satanic practices.

  • That will be very interesting to see how much publicity this will be given. The Vatican new about abuse from priest in First Nation communities and the only thing they did is move the priest from one parish to the next. I sincerely hope that they will succeed.
