  Your right but remember a single party is a dictatorship and O has demonized the republicans in almost every speech claiming they are responsible for the condition of our country and media backs him on it. After hearing that congress is the problem for 4 years everyone thinks it is the truth. He always plays the blame game for everything, he beat the Bush regime to death. The congress is not totally stupid and knows their jobs are short lived and some of them stick their necks out. The whole shut down was not about funding Ocare but was turned around to look like the republicans wanted to shut down the government which they did not. Attaching a bad bill with a good bill has been used many times with this congress just look at the NDAA and the Monsanto protection act to name a few, it is all a game.

The forces that control both political parties aren't worried about incumbents being voted out.  They own the candidates running against them as well!
