  • Jesus died on the cross, was resurrected, then went to India, and God knows what happened to Him after that.

  • Give me the teachings of Seth any day.....and Jordan Maxwell.....

  • Right....we have trouble placing a specific date on things that happened 500 years ago let alone 2000+  sorry but saying that the pieces add up to this date is reaching at best,  how do we know their weren't say more than 2 quakes that year...or for that matter that these quakes didn't happen 20-35 years apart.....I guess claiming a pretty number like 3/33 stirs the juices in those who find recurring numbers special.  We have yet to even prove Jesus definitively existed....and I am a believer in Jesus and Christianity the good the bad and the ugly....

  • Thanks, Mariana.

  • I recomend to look for the series "The naked archeologist", he brings in this series a very interesting view at the life in Biblical times in Israel. There is one particular chapter where he investigates Jesus' life.

  • I noticed some time ago, in the Westminster Confession of Faith, that the only "infallible" scriptures are the original autographs.  Since no one has those (presumably what has been discovered are in museums), then obviously the copies contain some errors, but nobody knows what is error and what is not.

  • this has the air of truth, Rosemary, the gospels were composed more to get a point of view over , they were formulated   more for dogmatic reasons. we need to look to more unconventional sources such as Seth, and Sylvia Brown.rather than as actual accounts of historical events.

  • Any one has read Sylvia Brown's book about Jesus life? It appear that he also went to India before his crucifixion. With the help of Judas, Mary Magdalene and the wife of Pious Pilate, they create a successful scenario based on Jesus ability to withstand pain. During his stay in India, Jesus was trained by Yogi on how to control pain. This help me survive the crucifixion. I am not sure that this account is really true, but he died in France in the vicinity of Renne le Chateau an area now known to history as Quatar country.

  • one definition of the word 'legend' is history written down and carried along in folk memory. thus, all legends carry at least some inkling of truth. Velikovsky realized this, as does maccaney. so, on thus basis, we must look deeper at the Buddhist, Hindu, and gnostic texts for what really happened with yeshu'a . I think the Gospels are very highly suspect here.

  • Thanks, Marianna.  That's interesting about the name being a curse.  I'd not heard that before.

Tammy, if you can, rent the movie Jesus in India.  It tries to establish proof that Jesus didn't die on the cross but survived and traveled to India.  There are scripts in Buddhist monasteries that are alleged to exist.  There are legends.  There is a tomb purported to be Mary's.  And feet prints in concrete that show crucifixion marks at a tomb that may be Jesus'.
