See the movie, it becomes visible when CME hits it...
Love the comments...plasma? In that shape? Comet...in that shape? I don't think so. I guess that winged thingy (pic down the right column of this website) was just gas too, right?

And that people of various races, terrestrial and extraterrestrial can work and live in harmony.
The teaching of the idea of other Races in the Heanens/Galaxy, and using Star Ships to travel the vast distances has had a wonderous effect on all of us. We no longer scoff at the idea of UFO's anymore, in fact, a good number of us would rather walk up to and touch a ship that has landed ... myself included :)
Like the idea of using Faster Than Light Drive/Engines ...
As you can see ... this Star Ship has just come out of Warp, and is decelerating to Sub-Light speed as it is entering our Solar System. Here is another ship just seconds after leaving Warp ...
I have to agree, that shows like Star Trek and Babylon 5 have had the fantastic affect of helping us humans accept the idea of going faster than light to travel the Galexy.
That is a good question Kim. Apparently Star Trek the Next generation was influenced by extraterrestrial. They wanted us to become familiar with some of the life forms that do indeed exist. I think they have succeeded because this as became a familiarity in numerous TV shows as well as our literature. I am pretty sure Roddenberry was mentally influenced to create Star Trek. "Some have seen the Enterprise." I wonder if that is where Gene Roddenberry got his idea for the design of his spaceship Enterprise for his show Star Trek :)
Look for the red light on Rudolphs nose.
Aurora, the way you can tell it's not Santa is if there are no reindeer! ;-)
JAK, Experimental? Over cities?
Glare of space? Uh, we cover the sun in SOHO pictures to block the glare of the sun. Should they be covering up SOHO's field of view because of the glare of space?
Somebody's coming for Christmas??? hehehe
