A great many who live along rivers understand the risks of doing so. Texas has many rivers with long histories of flooding, and the people living along their banks keep going back, flood after flood. It's a trade-off for a good many - riverbank living for occasional incoveniences. We have some friends who use to live in a near to yearly flood plain. Their property flooded regularly and predictably. They made money off of bad weather. That was until the insurance companies caught on to the people's (general population, not just our friends) ploys. Flood insurance is required to build on such properties, now.
But, this Mississippi River situation is beyond different. Natural OR not? After seeing the vid where the guy went into the weather modification company and was able to get the pilot on duty to admit to seeding clouds, I feel pretty certain the current flooding is NOT all natural. .... the snow melting could be the very thing that takes the curves out of the river.
I agree - poor people, they know something has come, and still is coming, but WHAT exactly? The anxiety must be growing exponentially... like NZ residents, who Just Want Out.
In my heart I want it to be normal activities, nothing to be alarmed about.
The fires are bad enough. Now, if we find out they started the fires as cover
for moving hazardous materials and/or military equipment, I will be very
upset.
LOL, I could tell you a good story about getting 'bent out of shape,' but it is
awfully personal and would take a book. I'm learning to ask questions while
believing with caution.
I went to create a map... most are fires. The one between Waxahachie and Dallas is questionable. The Super Collider they were building was closed before completed, so I can only imagine it having to do something with that. There are two nuclear units outside of Ft. Worth, but not near the no flys.
The zone over Corpus is a big ???, too... it's not even that close to the two nuclear units in Bay City.
For some reason I can't add photos, or I would add the map of fires as they are related to the no-flys.
I thought about calling the local radio and TV stations to ask them if they know what's up... we could all do that.
I found this while trying to find out about Corpus:
"No fly zones are declared when they're moving any sort of hazardous material. Every time the fuel rods are changed, removed, etc, there is a no fly zone declared. There are no fly zones all the time, hardly anyone notices tho. It's pretty routine, although someone who isn't used to seeing them might think it's code red disaster time." (source: REDDIT)
I also noticed during my searches that it is mostly the 'alternative/shock news/discussion' type sites/forums (don't know what else to call them) that are bringing the news to the reading audience.
Byron, there are a lot of us on the east side of the Mississippi. With prayer and preparation, we will make it through this.
