Earlier this week, the New Yorker magazine released an interview with President Obama in which he claimed that the rotten, bigoted, racists who used to support him and vote for him were causing his poll numbers to nosedive. It was ridiculous, and completely divorced from the reality of his administration’s ineptitude, but that was the argument. Now, the magazine has released new excerpts from their piece, and the President has added a couple more culprits in an effort to explain his disastrously low approval ratings.
According to Obama, Rush Limbaugh and Fox News are to blame:
The president also complained that conservative media had created a “caricature” of him divorced from “reality” that made rallying voters from those areas particularly difficult.
“The issue has been the inability of my message to penetrate the Republican base so that they feel persuaded that I’m not the caricature that you see on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh, but I’m somebody who is interested in solving problems and is pretty practical, and that, actually, a lot of the things that we’ve put in place worked better than people might think,” Obama said.
Yep, according to the Commander in Chief, he simply can’t overcome the influence of Fox News, and a man the left likes to call a “radio entertainer.”
Someone should get the President on the horn and remind him that it’s not just Fox News that’s reporting the truth of his bungling. That may have been the case at one point, but lately NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and even MSNBC have been tearing into his failed administration on a regular basis. Scandal after scandal has convinced the people he governs - and portions of the normally faithful media - that Barack Obama is simply incompetent.
How else do you explain the fact that this week’s polling shows a majority of Americans view him as incapable, detached, and dishonest?
The Obama administration is not competent running the government, voters say 53 - 42 percent. The president is paying attention to what his administration is doing, 45 percent say, while 47 percent say he is not paying attention.
46 percent say he is honest and trustworthy and 49 percent say he is not
As I said Monday, Obama’s numbers aren’t collapsing because people aren’t paying attention, and it’s not because they’ve bought into some false narrative proffered by the right. The fact is that - while it took them far too long - people are finally admitting the truth of the President’s tenure. His administration is rife with scandal, it’s headed by an empty suit, and its failing to comply with the wishes of the majority of Americans.
He can blame whoever he likes. The fact is, as his failures mount, he’s finally starting to have a tough time shifting responsibility. If he had anything positive to offer as counterpoint, his arguments might carry some weight. Sadly, that’s just not the case.

Obama is mixed race...50% black, 50% white. It's not his black race being criticized. It's his incompetent and anti-American white side.
We are living in a very difficult time when one black man is leading us into destruction and we are told that if we don't agree with what he is doing we are racists. This is being done on purpose to stop the decenters and so far it has been used through the five years of his reign and pushed by the media until I want to vomit blood. He just happens to be the most powerful man on this planet and has turned his reign into a dictatorship. Not thinking he is an important player is a big mistake. Someone else tells him what to do but he is too dangerous to ignore.

Considering the presidency is nothing but a facade (and has been since JFK was murdered), these are the same old 3D dramas... Democrats vs. Republicans, blacks vs. whites. For THOUSANDS OF YEARS, they've been using these tactics to snare you in, make you pick a side and waste your thoughts and energy on meaningless and never-ending struggles of duality. Take a step back and realize these are only puppets who have no real power. Meanwhile the real elite are sipping their wine and stealing your wealth from beneath your noses. They are safely buffered behind these dramas and care not a bit about what happens to Obama.
