It is said that when the New Madrid rips it will cause a tsunami that will hit the UK and Europe. The Gulf Stream is said to be a a major player in the force and direction the tsunami will go. Thus, a logical conclusion is that the Gulf Stream is expected to be alive and well at that time. Since at least 2005, the Gulf Stream appears to have been slowing down and recently dramatically. It has been raised several times in chats. One of the effects of a slowed or stopped Gulf Stream is severe winter weather, especially in Europe.
When the information that the Gulf Stream had stopped or nearly stopped surfaced in 2009, NZT downplayed it, even to the point of attacking the messengers (i.e., pointing to Dr. Deagle's alleged loss of license and criminal charges). In other NZT's, direct questions asking if the Gulf Stream had stopped and/or what caused it either went unanswered and/or the "wobble" was pointed to as the cause.
HOWEVER, the predicted results of the slowing of the Gulf Stream are upon us. News articles have indicated that Russia as well as Britain are having the coldest winters in 1,000 years, the U.S. east coast is having increasingly severe winters and that we are at the precipice of a mini ice age.
If the Gulf Stream stops or slows down catastrophically, will it ever get going again? I've read no commentary to that effect yet.
Assuming at this point that it doesn't, then that would mean there would be no European tsunami, at least as has been described in NZT. Of course, things could change, the Gulf Stream could re-invent itself, but consider that it isn't JUST the New Madrid rip that is causing its demise, since said demise has already been in progress since at least 2005.

Hey Rosemary, I think being willing to take action even if no one else is, doesn't rule out relying on others. However, I do think we need to be wise on who we chose to rely on, just make sure the people you work with are trustworthy and reliable, as you ensure you are yourself trustworthy and reliable. It seems to me that you have some concerns there, with your neighbors and all. So, I would love to add you and your husband, as well as your situation, to the ECC meditation list if you would like. If you don't want to respond here, just email me. You've mentioned your concerns before, and some people are finding the meditation energy has been helpful to them, just let me know.

PS, Love you back, every year I get a theme focus for the upcoming year, in 2008 it was integrity, in 2009, it was flow, in 2010, it was clarity, I can see how many of us have been gaining clarity over the past year, this year, for 2011, it is Restoration, I'm kinda excited to experience how this plays itself out. I'm in agreement with Sizzle's comments mentioned in another blog, that we don't have to wait for cataclysmic events to begin the work of Restoration, this will be my primary focus this coming year, let me know how it goes for you, keep me posted.

When the Gulf Stream/North Atlantic Drift almost ceased in July, I mentioned that on the NZT, I was chastised. It was rammed home that it was because the Caribbean was heating up by the GMan. No other feasible notion would be accepted because a link (referenced by this site and EC) because NL believed that the originator had no credibility and was a government disinformation specialist. All the article said was that Europe would be become much colder not having the heat of the North Atlantic Drift.In addition, the article said that as a result, the Gulf of Thailand has been observed to have more than the additional rainfall.

Gerard told me back in the day that I asked too many questions. We ask questions to find out details from which we can make INFORMED decisions. I suggest to him that he doesn't ask enough questions. No one is stupid for asking questions, never. If you don't know something you need to find out, otherwise you set yourself up for all manner of grief.
Sizzle, the reason the pseudo-science of ZT works is that so many of us (including me!) don't have science backgrounds and it is so easy to bumfoggle us. Those that do have a science background and spot the b.s. are simply ridiculed or banned or discredited. Typical cult tactics.
Thank you for your insight. I didn't have that part of the equation, but it certainly builds a stronger case against a tsunami hitting Europe (at least from that perspective).
Rosemary, I think they will, but I feel Edina is right in that we need to take responsibility. However, they understand how beseiged we are with big business and government in bed together and working maniacly to make sure we never can. They are definitely going to level the playing field in that regard.
We need to take personal responsibility for our own physical survival, but more importantly, we need to rehabilitate our spiritual abilities so that we can help in the war that is raging. How does one accomplish that? By what we do here...which is why this ning is here, and protected...to share our knowledge and help each other up the rungs to increased spiritual awareness and abilities.
And there isn't much time left. Let go the daily cares and focus on getting ready for the fight for our souls.

Rosemary, I think that they already do help us, but I think we have to also take action to help ourselves, we are the physical ones here, in this physical environment, of which we are the physical caretakers. Somehow, we will have to take our role back, we are the present indigenous species living on the surface of this planet, it's our job, our right, and our responsibility to care for life here. During the summer, Karen posted quite a few suggestions that she felt a person could do to make a difference. These were all based on the assumption that the slow down of the Gulf current was directly related to the Oil spill fiasco.
However, in reading Rudolph Steiner, and Viktor Schauberger, these men were predicting the events we are presently seeing based on their observations back in the 1900's-1930's about how our science was developing in ways that worked against the living principles of Nature, which are far more spiritually based than our present material-centered scientific principles. I am finding myself increasing stunned at how accurately they saw what we are presently experiencing. I'm trying to learn as much from them as possible. Both men, proposed soulutions to these times in the work they presented decades ago.
