I remember Hurricane Floyd in September 1999.  It was a monster.  I'm in Virginia and the flooding came all the way over to one county east of us.  I'm in the Appalachians and the county east of us is at a lower elevation, so they got the run-off from us.  Batten down the water barrels.  And the patio furniture.  And the cat.

BRIAN I don't discount those facts at all and believe there will be a certain degree  of accuracy to these predictions. With the stoppage of the Gulf Stream who knows what will happen. Its just when I see janet who did not secure our sothern borders and puts up big  brother monitors in wal-Mart lights start flashing.

Whenever I see predictions coming from our government, bells start ringing in my head. Hillary did this last year and look what happened to the weather.  Now janet, oh boy more drills and control of the population practice. Do they have a direct line to alaska, comes to mind. How do they know what's going to happen unless it's preplaned. If your county accepts federal aid for a disaster and sends out the national guard you are in martial law and not in control of your county. Katrina was a good example. Are they training us with weather for martial law hmmmm. Janet would be the right person to start this act as a humanitarian exercise.
