happening there is a 50 minute video below page down after you open the link to a picture of a rebel with a gun and click on the video. In 2011 Iran, Iraq and Syria signed an agreement to run a natural gas pipe line from Iran to Iraq through Syria and underwater to Europe this would bypass the use of the petro dollar and the US began its attack on Syria. Covertly with rebels and with the help of Turkey. There was another deal made with Qatar who is also siting on the same large gas field as Iran and Iraq they are Muslim brotherhood controlled and can't go through Syria to get to Turkey so Qatar has spent 5 billion funding rebels to turn Syria into a Muslim brotherhood country and allowing the Qatar pipeline to happen. Now enters Saudi Arabia to help Qatar to hire mercenaries from all over the world. Why is Israel in this conflict? well it seems that Israel has found its own Natural gas gold mine in the eastern Mediterranean ocean and also wants to become a player in the gas boom and as long as they can keep the Arabs fighting amongst them selves they can drill their own well and keep the Arabs off their back. Finally the last player is the USA and first the threat of loosing the petro dollar but more than that which the video explains is the need for the Military industrial complex to keep up its production of weapons which needs trillions of dollars to keep afloat at the end of the video you will see what they spend a year since 911 to now. Eisenhower said " Beware of the military industrial complex " Now they own Obama and they will call the shots. Speaking out for the first time since an apparent chemical weapons attack near Damascus on Aug. 21, Putin called on President Obama to find a nonviolent way out of the crisis.

“I would like to address Obama as a Nobel Peace Prize laureate: Before using force in Syria, it would be good to think about future casualties,” Putin told Russian news agencies in Vladivostok during a tour of the country’s flood-stricken Far East.

“Russia is urging you to think twice before making a decision on an operation in Syria,” he said.

Could be he's backing down because this unpopularity might derail his socialist agenda before he can finish it off.

The president ignored a reporter who shouted the obvious question: What happens if Congress says no?

But senior administration officials briefing reporters at the White House later said that Obama still believes he has the legal authority to act without congressional support – meaning that a “no” vote would not necessarily handcuff his foreign policy. And they disputed that Obama risked setting a precedent that could limit the power of future occupants of the Oval Office.

PressTV: US not contemplating congressional approval for Syria strikes: Lawmaker

House Armed Services Committee Chairman Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.)House Armed Services Committee Chairman Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.)

Amid fierce opposition to possible military strikes in Syria, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee said on Friday that it is unlikely President Barack Obama will seek congressional approval for an attack.

In an interview with Fox News, Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) said it is unlikely the White House is “even contemplating” seeking authorization from Congress for a military strike on Syria.

“I don’t get the feeling that they’re even contemplating that. When I first had my call earlier in the week, I almost was thinking that this would already have been done,” McKeon said.

McKeon said the president should “go to the American people and the Congress” before any military intervention in Syria.

More than 100 lawmakers have signed a letter saying it would be unconstitutional for the president to take military action without getting authorization from Congress.

Meanwhile, a new NBC News poll shows that about 80 percent of Americans say Obama should receive congressional approval before using force in Syria.

The United States has released an intelligence report which concluded that Syrian government forces launched a chemical attack in the suburbs of Damascus last week, killing hundreds of civilians.

However, the Syrian government has categorically rejected the allegations that it had any role in the attack.

Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011. The Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside Syria, according to reports.

According to the United Nations, more than 100,000 people have been killed and a total of 7.8 million of others displaced due to the violence.

How does a YouTube video demonstrate “rapid heartbeat?”  I think Dave missed his own article saying it was "reported" (as in something separate from the videos) and later confirms  physical symptoms verified by medical personnel and NGOs, and other information associated with this chemical attack.”

But, the report is problematic with the "consistent with, but not unique to..." phrase.  So, not 100% certain...

WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court ruled Friday that White House visitor logs for the president and most of his staff are not public information subject to disclosure requirements of the Freedom of Information Act.

The 3-0 decision would keep the visitor records confidential for up to 12 years after President Barack Obama leaves office.

The appeals court ruling dealt a defeat to a private group that asked the Secret Service for all White House visitor logs from Obama’s first seven months in office.

“Congress made clear that it did not want documents like the appointment calendars of the president and his close advisers to be subject to disclosure” under the Freedom of Information Act, wrote Merrick Garland, chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Judicial Watch, a conservative-oriented watchdog group that sued in an effort to get the records, said it is considering an appeal.

“Decisions like this turn the Freedom of Information Act from a transparency law to a secrecy law,” said the group’s president, Tom Fitton.

Disclosure battles over White House visitor logs have been a staple of both Democratic and Republican administrations.

In May 2006, the White House and the Secret Service asserted that the visitor records were presidential records, as opposed to agency records belonging to the Secret Service. Under federal law, presidential records can remain confidential for up to 12 years. As an executive branch agency, the Secret Service is subject to the Freedom of Information Act, which requires public release of material unless one of nine exemptions applies.

In Friday’s ruling, the chief judge said that construing the term “agency records” to extend to White House visitor logs could substantially affect the president’s ability to meet confidentially with foreign leaders, agency officials, or members of the public, which could make FOIA a potentially serious congressional intrusion into the conduct of the president’s daily operations.

Garland is an appointee of President Bill Clinton. The other two appeals judges on the case were David Sentelle and Stephen Williams, both appointees of President Ronald Reagan.
