Arcadia Power is a company with a novel concept. It works to get non-coal energy to your home and, using electricity purchased from wind energy, is said to save you money on your electric bill. There are good reviews, but quite a few not-so-good reviews with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Two mentions of an A and an A+ rating on the BBB search index, but I couldn't find the rating on the actual page.
Also, note the comment below from the Reddit article. The source link the comment refers to at green-e.org is no longer available. You'll have to research to see if Arcadia Power got its certification back:

A complex issue. It should be studied more. I agree that 1% shouldn't hold 90% of the wealth; however, removing reward for one's efforts would take away incentive to achieve higher aims. A personal 70% tax seems excessive. The reasonable thing to do is raise taxes on those that can afford it, to a limit. Find the balance point where even the poorest can have a decent life, stop funding wars and sending billions and billions in aid to other countries and there shouldn't have to be people homeless and hungry in America.
While higher taxes is a concept to achieve that, another idea is to apply a higher tax on corporations, since being non-living-persons (though legal fiction does exist and maybe should be reevaluated), they are not "created equal."
Corporations provide employment, so rather than working land, people work in businesses. Is it fair the Walton family makes billions in profits while low-level Walmart employees have to also get welfare to survive? From that standpoint, no, but... if Walmart didn't exist, there would be no jobs. There would be no lower prices that help the family budget. Many factors must be considered, so it needs to be scrutinized where the balance point is.
Maybe the highest tax brackets should be on wealthy corporations, but limited in a more realistic way to providing living wages to their employees. More than just providing a living wage, corporate profits will be lowered, and this could be in conjunction with providing living wages, to where corporations have a cap on profits and create a more level playing field. Corporations are at the root of a lot of problems because they have well-funded lobbyists and bribe politicians. (Bribed politicians should be lampposted.)
Okay, this is all just speculation. There are hints there could be a better way, but it has to be looked at seriously, with an eye to minimum standards for the poor and capping the ability of corporations to sway politics. As for the rich, they're somewhere in between. Maybe higher taxes, maybe luxury taxes. You don't want to put luxury car makers out of business because the rich can no longer afford to buy their cars. See... there's a fine line to make it work for everybody.
I will say that democracy, where everybody is equal is a romantic notion. "Created equal" means just that. We come into this world, each of us, with as much chance as the next person. Thus, all humans should be respected, there are no human that is "less than" human. All should have rights in this regard, and part of that should be minimum income to fund a decent lifestyle... plenty to eat, never worrying about heat being shut off in the winter, never going homeless, homes that meet minimum standards (no shacks, living in sheds, poor conditions, etc.) To have better than minimum is the reward for innovation within free-market capitalism. I guess, in a way, it might be looked at as "capped capitalism."
Maybe CEO's shouldn't be getting multi-million dollar salaries and golden parachutes. Maybe employees should be included in profit sharing or corporations should be employee owned?
Anyway, what are your thoughts? Let's forge the future by envisioning what works for everyone. We also need to get people to agree to lay down their swords over past indignities and start a new journey towards a better future.

I am a Sasquatch and I live right next to you on Mother Earth. My name is Grometh. I am usually in the mountains, but now and then I also wander around on Mother Earth. Those that listen well and are sensitive can sometimes sense that I am nearby. Sometimes I am drawn to some place where there is some kind of activity going on otherwise I do not mingle much with humans. The animals and nature is what is closest to me and it is there that I have my mission. I wander around to see if I can help Mother Earth in some fashion. Some things I can restore, other things I need help with, yet other things we need assistance with from a higher power with in order to restore. Certain things are karmic and reoccurring, but we help Mother Earth in her healing process, which also is your human healing process. Everything is connected so one thing impact another even if it mostly are the animals and nature that I collaborate with.
I am much much taller than you. I take large strides across the Earth, while when I am in touch with you I can make myself small in order not to scare you. In spite of this I am still taller and bigger than you. I have fur and I do not think you would call me beautiful, while I see myself as a true and beautiful being on our Earth. I present myself here today so that you may understand that there are many beings that surround Mother Earth and who are dependent on her and hold her very dear. You are hardly alone to live on this Earth and you are not alone in being dependent on all her gifts. The gifts of Mother Earth are for us her clear water, her beautiful and wonderful vegetation and her richness in species. It is this that we shield and protect as much as is possible.
We can see that a new shift for Earth is underway and this gives us great joy and pleasure. It makes our work that much easier now when a new wave of energy has come down to Earth. Old species have started to emerge that have slumbered in their hideouts and dying species are starting to get a new life. If only humanity could stop for a moment much would happen on our Earth that would restore the hardest hit areas. You would understand what you were meant for you to come to do here. You have everything in your hand, but you are still too blind to see this. Open your eyes now dear folks and see what it is that is important in your lives. Is it not your own best? And what do you do about it? When will you understand that it is only natural products that will help your body to heal? You are a product of nature, just as we are, and you need its purity and clarity just as we do. There is no big difference between you and us. We are all living beings that reside on our Dear Mother Earth. She is so dearly loved by all, since she is our beloved Mother and loves us above all else. Take a step back to nature and you will understand what I mean. Use all knowledge and all technology you have in order to restore and heal Mother Earth thereby yourselves.
