Hurricane Irene Radar Anomaly

John Miller picked up this anomaly.  Over the Ft. Bragg area the radar screen kept showing a large white blob on the left, then it would turn green.  Any ideas what it is?  See attached.

Yes, noticed this yesterday and all the other quakes throughout New England and Canada - part of the stretching as the New Madrid gets ready to go.

Still raining here and breezy.  Eeeew.

Still wind and rain, we have power - for the moment we dodged a bullet but we could still lose power.  Branches down a bit of a mess but not terrible.  It's very sad though that some have lost their lives as a result of downed trees.  Prayers to their families.

Kathleen, I've been here in MD for 10 years but am from the Boston area - miss New England and the culture.  Stay safe!

We got hurricane clouds today, then a brief but powerful downpour, nothing out of the ordinary though.
