Angry protesters took over Albuquerque City Council Monday night calling for immediate change at APD and the ousting of both Albuquerque’s Police Chief, Mayor and more.

Protesters even called for the arrest and issued a “people’s warrant” to APD Chief Gordon Eden.

“This is no longer your meeting, this is the people’s meeting,” protester David Correia, an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico, said into a commandeered microphone as shown in the KRQE video below. “We now serve a people’s warrant for arrest on Albuquerque Police Chief Gordon Eden.”

The Downside of America’s New Spirit of Civil Disobedience

Dave Hodges

October 10, 2013

The Common Sense Show

The spirit of civil disobedience is being resurrected in the former land of apathy and acquiescence. People from every walk of life are saying “No” to their out of control federal government with increasing vehemence. But as you will see, it is not all a bed of roses. There is a price to pay for our new spirit of civil disobedience.

Ted Nugent Can Carry the Tune of Liberty

Legendary rocker Ted Nugent recently told the Associated Press that “The government is so out of control. It is so bloated and infested with fraud and deceit and corruption and abuse of power…   “The American government today will go down and the American people, it breaks my heart to say… will go down as the dumbest, most unappreciative society in the history of humankind.”  Nugent’s commentary is sad, but much more true than not. However, the worm is beginning to turn and even Nugent might be surprised at the rising tide of civil disobedience in the USA.

The Grand Canyon Shutdown

The Grand Canyon National Park has been closed for over a week now due to the government shutdown. Locals, whose livelihoods depend on the revenue generated from the National Park, have had enough and are speaking out through organized protest.

The Vets Are the First and Last Line of Defense Against Tyranny

Chis Cox loves the veterans enough to risk being arrested for trespassing by mowing the lawn near the Lincoln Memorial.

Chris Cox, the man pictured above, who is pushing a lawnmower, told CBS’ DC affiliate that his actions weren’t politically motivated. Instead his actions are a symbol of respect for the veterans who are set to converge in the nation’s capital this upcoming weekend for the Million Vet March.

Stewart Rhodes, the founder and director of Oathkeepers, has thrown his organization into the controversy in a very conspicuous manner as Oathkeepers recently issued a statement which encouraged all veterans to go to Washington DC and support the WWII veterans against the tyrannical enforcement of the government’s shutdown of the war memorials. Below, is an except of Rhodes’ call to action.

“Calling all Oath Keepers (and any other veterans) to back up our World War II veterans at the Washington DC area memorials, such as the World War II memorial, the Iwo Jima memorial, Arlington Cemetary, the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, and anywhere else that that the Honor Flights go. Go there and put yourselves under the command of the WWII vets. If they want the barricades down, they should come down, come hell or high water. No WWII vet should be denied access to the Iwo Jima memorial, the WWII memorial, or to any other memorial they want to visit. For many of them, on those Honor Flights, this will be THEIR LAST TRIP to go and pay their respects to their brothers who did not make it back. It is intolerable to let Obama block their access for his petty partisan manipulations over the govt “shutdown…”

Hey NSA, “We Can’t Hide From You, but You Can’t Hide From Us”

The following people belong to a group called the “Restore the Fourth”.  The organization is protesting the NSA spy facility in Utah.

Restore The Fourth-Utah is also responsible for picking up litter on the 2-mile stretch of Redwood Road that includes the main entrance to the Utah Data Center and Camp Williams, where most of the spying takes place. they adopted the road in order to protest the NSA facility and their egregious violations of the Fourth Amendment.

Look at the faces in the crowd. The new found spirit of American civil disobedience has crossed from special interest groups like veterans to include average, everyday citizens. What we see below is a significant development in terms of average citizens standing up to the tyrannical federal government.

“We do not consent to having our Fourth Amendment right taken away by the NSA.”

The Trucker Strike

The truckers are threatening to block traffic on the Beltway and arrest Congressman for violating the Constitution.

U.S. News & World Report spoke with Earl Conlon, a Georgia trucker who is handling the logistics for the three-day protest which is to begin on the morning of October 11. According to Conlon and others participating, truckers will clog the inner loop of the Beltway and circle I-495 at the 55mph speed limit “to seek the arrest of congressmen for allegedly disregarding the Constitution.”

It Is Too Early to Celebrate

On one hand, it is exciting that Americans across the entire spectrum are beginning to speak with a unified voice. However, do you really think that the globalists, through their minions like Obama, are just going to sit back and allow the “people”, the “useless eaters”,  people like you and me, take back our country? Marijuana is now legal in Colorado and Washington and one would have to be high, or delusional, to believe that the central bankers are going to give us back our country without a bloodbath. In fact, they (the central bankers and their minions) have been preparing for this day for a long time!

They have been preparing for your awakening for a long time.

What most Americans don’t realize is that you are already living in a police state and as a result, your nation has already been conquered. We were conquered when we allowed the bailouts to go through. We were conquered when we let Obamacare pass. We were conquered when the statistics show us that, despite only having 5% of the world’s population, we have 25% of the world’s prison population. You were conquered when you allowed the NDAA and Executive Order 13603 to be passed.

As I have repeatedly pointed out, we have entered into Stage 2, civil disobedience, on the path to revolution. It will not be the American people who take this conflict to and all-out Stage 3 Revolution, it will be the central bankers as they will see this as a possibility to stamp out all opposition to the New World Order.

Has the light come on yet? DHS purchases 2.3 billion rounds of ammunition to go with their 2700 armored personnel carriers. Every federal agency is arming to the teeth. Wake up America, your life will soon change. Remember the sequence that I have been speaking about for a year; First there will be false flag attacks, financial collapse, martial law followed by WWIII. You are entering the hard core martial law period. How can I be so sure, because this is what happens in every country, in every situation like ours. The best predictor of the future is past.

And please spare me the testosterone inspired hubris that we will have a person with gun behind every blade of grass. That is a joke, we are a soft country. The only hope for the people of this country lies in the fact that the military might revolt, but that is a long shot because Obama has rid the military of any leader who he perceives as a “pro-constitutionalist, protect the American people” kind of soldier. As a result the sell-out bureaucrats are running the Pentagon.

What will this martial law crackdown look like? That is an easy question to answer because, this too, has happened before and the pieces for our subjugation have already been put in place. More on this in the next article. I will leave you with one clue. Brzezinski recently said, “It is easier today to kill a million, rather than try to control a million.

Home Wi-Fi routers could operate as emergency network, say scientists

Researchers propose disaster ‘emergency mode’

By John E Dunn, TechWorld

German researchers have proposed using home Wi-Fi routers as a backup mesh network in the event that cell and phone systems in cities and towns are overwhelmed during emergencies.

In a recently-published paper PDF, Kamill Panitzek and colleagues at the Technical University in Darmstadt in Germany describe how home routers could be linked to one another to form a huge informal backbone for use by fire, police and ambulance services.

REVIEW: Linksys routers get smart (except for ‘easy setup’)

Panitzek and his team tested the concept in the centre of Darmstadt by surveying the number, signal strength and location of routers using a sophisticated version of wardriving that was able to fix their coordinates with a high enough degree of accuracy to construct a hypothetical mesh.

The team found 1,971 routers, 212 of which had no encryption applied, and a further that used the obsolete WEP standard.

On the basis of the pattern of routers found, the team calculated that a resilient and sufficiently dense mesh network would be possible if a distance of around 30 metres between nodes was assumed.

One problem was that there were not enough open (i.e unsecured) routers which would require citizens to create an “emergency switch” mode to allow access to the number of nodes needed to create a viable mesh.

Most recent home routers can support such a system without modification as long as they allow for the creation of an open ‘guest’ network running in parallel to the user’s secured Wi-Fi access, that is firewalled from it.

“We found that with a communication range of 30 metres a mesh network could be easily constructed in urban areas like our hometown. The resulting networks showed to be resilient to node failures,” Panitzek said in the analysis.

The team accepts that there are some barriers to the idea beyond the mere density of routers available in a particular locality. Would users agree to have an open channel enabled on their routers?

A better idea might be for router makers to introduce an emergency mode into their products that users would know was fully secure, but the prospects of that look remote for now without legislation.

Mesh networks have been a buzz technology for some years and have found commercial applications. Arbua Networks launched a small meshing system for its own access points in 2011. Although a powerful idea, the technology remains on the fringes of development.

If they do not pay their fines by age 17 they go to jail. What a way to start out life. I would of been in jail by age 12.

Hey Everybody,

I just wanted to put the word out there about something that I feel is proof positive that things are getting bad fast now.  I feel this is the worse loss of freedom we have encountered to date and proof that something big is happening.   The Jacksonville Florida Sheriffs Department is one of the largest departments in the Southeastern United States, with over 3,600 employees. This week they contacted all of the News Channels in Jacksonville and told them they must turn in all of their Police Scanners.  They were told the Department of Homeland Defense has ordered this. Even though this article at the bottom of the page does not mention Homeland Defense, my local news talk radio station, AM 690, did report that the order came down from them.  Jacksonville Florida Sheriffs Department are also in the process of changing all of their call codes as well.  There are five local TV channels , they have all been ordered to turn in their scanners as well as the radio channels and also the newspapers.  Now no one will now know what they are doing or saying.

Even our News Anchors on the local channels are visibly upset by these
events, they have told the public that they must now rely on them and have all set up phone lines dedicated to receive news from the public and are asking people to please call in anything news worthy because like they said, it can now take hours or even days to report the news to people.

I am sending this out for two reasons, to let you all know what is happening here and to also ask you if this is going on in your area of the country. Please let me know if it is going on only here so far or rather if this is nation wide. Please feel free to send this as far and wide as possible.

Controlled media in Jacksonville

By Kevin Rincon

Jacksonville, FL —

As of Thursday the flow of your information will be filtered, it’ll be delayed and what we report to you will be handpicked.

For the first time ever in Jacksonville police radio traffic will be completely closed off to the public.  Six years ago JSO began operating under encrypted radio frequencies, a result of 9/11.

When that change occurred a way to keep the public in the know was to provide those radios to the media.  Last month a policy decision was made to take those back.  At the time the only reason citied was a budgetary concern.

(On Wednesday we will provide a detailed look at the reasons most recently offered up by Sheriff John Rutherford.)

We asked a former public information officer at JSO, Ken Jefferson if this decision would limit access to the public’s information, he says it would.

“It will certainly enable them to control the flow of information because you don’t have the scanners to listen to them as it comes out,” says Jefferson. Without the ability to hear it in real time, “as its happening you’re going to have to rely on them.”

When we asked several council members for their take most were unaware of what this one policy decision by Sheriff Rutherford would actually mean.  John Crescimbeni told us, “I don’t think the public realizes what’s happening.”

Most of the elected officials we talked to said there’s nothing they can do because the JSO is its own constitutional office.  So that one small policy decision that will impact you is being passed with no public input, no public comments, no hearings and required only one person’s approval.

Crescimbeni did admit this decision is suspect, “When I see people trying to heighten that sense of secrecy, I have concerns about that.”
From here on out after Thursday, the sheriff’s office will determine when and how we find out about what is going on right here in Jacksonville, which in turn will affect how you find out about what’s going on in your neighborhood, not just through WOKV but through print, on TV and online.

(On Tuesday we’ll go into more detail as to why it’s even important being able to get the information in real time.)

So far the announcement that the radios will be taken back, that’s gotten mixed reviews, some people are fine with JSO having that control, “I think controlling the message is imperative in situations that involve, a serial killer is a beautiful example, when you release too much information, they know what the police are looking for so I think there needs to be some sort of control.”  Kristina Meade told us this seems to be a double edged sword but she’ll side with the sheriff’s decision.

In a situation like that one or in any high stakes investigation JSO switches over to its tactical channels, ones we’ve never had access to.
If there is control of your information it’ll happen across the board.

The other side of it from you the public has been that this is a government agency cutting a line of communication.
“I’m not saying JSO is a bad organization or anything but it’s always good to be able to see things from many different directions and form your own opinion then it is to get things from a single source,” says Tom Harding, “because then you really don’t know the whole story.”

Harding says, in his opinion this is the first step towards a controlled media, “Because as far as I understand it, you all aren’t going to get any information unless its handed to you by the police . . . what would distinguish us from the Chinese at that point?”
Whether it’s an issue of control or anything else the sheriff has made it clear this is a policy decision that will not be reviewed.

From an email from Sheldon Day:

These sinkholes are popping up all over the place and they're usually attributable to a "water main breaK"... I believe that the 'Red Comet' out by Jupiter is behind this..And BTW, Jupiter got hit AGAIN by another Fireball 5 days ago-UNPRECEDENTED.. The 'Red Comet' or 'The Planet of the Crossing' is causing more & mre Earthquakes to occur here, causing more Water lines to break underground, thus creating the Sinkholes.....

Even an OFFICIAL in THE Phillippines has stated this-
Berador said a sinkhole can only occur if a corroded limestone area is disturbed by natural tremors such as earthquakes or by human-induced activities

Wonder what this is about - maybe more to come. If they are getting rid of non official staff at these levels, something may be brewing.

Durham police send out redundancy warnings

Durham PoliceAbout 200 civilian jobs could be lost atDurham Police

Durham police have issued redundancy warnings to all civilian workers in the force, includingpolice community support officers.

In total, 1,160 90-day notices have been sent out, although none have been sent to police officers.

About 200 posts will be lost at the force, the BBC understands.

The chairman of Durham Police Authority said the notices were to inform employees that their jobs were potentially at risk.

Peter Thompson explained that the force was facing budget cuts of between 25% and 40%.

He said: "This is just part of a process, and I can appreciate that some people will be extremely surprised to have receivedthis notification today.

"It doesn't meant everyone who has received one is going to be made redundant, but there is a process of legislation in our countrythat has to be followed and we are invoking the first stage of it."

'Devastating blow'

Assistant chief officer at the force Gary Ridley said: "Despite undertaking a range of actions to save money, it is clear thatcompulsory redundancies need to be considered in light of likely futurereductions in the amount of government grants the constabulary receives.

"We are working closely with the police authority and trade unions to try and minimise the impact on our staff, whilst maintaining aservice to the people of County Durham and Darlington."

Unison branch secretary Arthur Dickinson said: "This is a devastating blow to our members.

"We have never had any compulsory redundancies in the force and we have been working very hard to make savings to avoid any in thefuture.

"There is a lot of fear and uncertainty over numbers, but the 90-day consultation suggests that the force are looking to axe morethan 100 jobs.

"Any redundancies will have a major impact on the quality of policing in Durham.

"We are holding meetings with members to discuss the notices and with management next week."
