My Dear Ones, I say this to the whole Student Body: oh, did you really know what the Outpouring of Kindliness, Divine Love, and Blessing upon your fellowman would do – the Doors it would open to you – you would never cease, waking or sleeping, because you would charge your Higher Mental Bodies to keep it up while you sleep! It is one of the loveliest things in the world, because that will keep you harmonized, when otherwise your attention would be on something else.
So many letter have reached the Messengers asking, “How are we to keep our attention where it belongs?” It is easy enough. Shall I tell you the very simple Secret of it? Every time your attention starts to wander off on to something undesirable, begin to pour out Divine Love and Blessing to everything; and you will see how quickly it stops its action, how quick your attention returns where it belongs, because that is the Power of your “I AM Presence.” It is a very – pardon Me if I use the term – but it is a very “cunning” way of fooling your human self! It cannot talk back to you!
Remember, for a little time yet, there are still two of you; not for a great while, but yet a little while there are still two of you – the outer and the Inner – the Inner man who wants your Perfection up here, but the outer man says: “Oh, I scream for the things of the outer world.” Sackcloth and ashes! That is what the things of the outer world are without Wisdom directing; but when Wisdom does direct the things of the outer world, they will bring Happiness and Blessings to you and your fellowman.

Saint Germain “Gossip, a most destructive practice”
Before we close the address today, may we lovingly request that all of you, individually and collectively, call to beloved Pallas Athena, as well as to the beloved Goddess of Liberty and the Goddess of Light, to loose their mighty light rays into the causes and cores of all gossip and remove them, cause, effect, record and memory forever! Beloved ones, I tell you that, as an unascended being, I suffered much from that human quality.
As an ascended being, I can truthfully say to you that gossip can do more harm than physical murder. As Roger Bacon I was called a “charlatan” and as I walked the streets, women would cover their children’s heads with their aprons, lest my shadow fall upon them. Now, the only thing I was doing in those days, was endeavoring to teach some brilliantly-minded men who had no money. Most of the professors of that day exacted large fees, while I asked for none. I lived on little more than bread, a small sustenance, indeed, and that which I did was quite harmless. However, the fact that I was not living up to the code of the other professors in the school, caused gossip to spread. They thought that, in the little dark room which we used, we were performing feats of “black magic,” when we were studying only geography and calculus.
As Francis Bacon I again took the lash of gossip upon my shoulders but that time voluntarily, to save the face of England’s James, who had conveniently borrowed all of the money from the national exchequer. Even today, on the records of English history, the name of Francis Bacon is not yet cleared. However, so far as your worlds are concerned and the worlds of all connected in any way with our activity, let no one have anything to do with this unfortunate human habit!
Now, although there is still much which I could say to you today, let close with these few words:
You are my dearly beloved children! In you I have invested my very life and my faith, as I place in your hands the protection and sustenance of the Seventh Ray and its glorious activities (as it takes its dominion here upon Earth), you will all be constant and steadfast in this service, until my beloved Portia and I can stand forth visible and tangible to all. Then the veil of maya will have been forever parted, and we shall be able to take our places as the King and Queen of the New Era of God-freedom, the permanent golden age, which already has been begun with your faith in us and which, I know, you will sustain and expand for Love’s sweet sake! Thank you and good morning!

I say again tonight, do NOT ALLOW ONE SINGLE FEELING TO LIVE IN YOU OF CRITICISM OR CONDEMNATION OF ANOTHER; EVEN THOUGH SUCH A ONE MIGHT HAVE MADE MISTAKES. Pour out Our Ascended Master Divine Love! Raise the Loved One who has made mistakes into the Arms of Your Presence and forget all else! You will know such Happiness! Then, you will have done Your Part, to fulfill the Law of Light and Love.
So tonight, Dear Hearts, remember—TO THE DEGREE YOU POUR OUT THE ASCENDED MASTERS' DIVINE LOVE AND BLESSINGS, WILL THE DOOR OF YOUR WORLD OPEN WIDE, INTO OUR ETERNAL LIGHT which releases all Perfection into your use; for your Blessing and for the Purifying and Perfecting of your bodies.

My personal note: The more knowledge of the Law a student acquires, the greater his responsibility to apply it correctly! If he knows the Law and refuses to apply it, the door is closed and he must suffer the consequences of his own discord. Lack of purity is the source of all suffering and pain, illnesses, financial problems, family problems and problems in relationships. And no one maintains purity, without keeping his external senses focused on absorbing and pouring out only Divine Love to everyone.

The two Wings of the Soul
Saint Germain explained us:
It is said or conceded by those of orthodox opinion that Angels have wings. I shall explain to you why. DETERMINATION AND POWER ARE THE TWO WINGS OF THE SOUL, not necessarily visible even to the Inner Sight, but they are there just the same. And where you recognize determination as will with its accompanying power, the Soul may rise to any height of Mastery, and in that recognition draw the outer into Itself that there be only One - God in Action. The Supremacy of the Mighty Inner Master "Presence" must be acknowledged by the Students as Real and True, and the Students must acknowledge that they have the ability and power to practice that Mighty "Presence" in every act of Life. The more the Students practice the Presence of God within themselves, the easier it becomes and the more they want to practice it. However as I have mentioned many times before, the outer, in the beginning of the advancement, will find every excuse to try to get the attention on outer things or on the body, which in its ignorance it claims as its own.
The only sure release from bodily conditions is to take the mind off the body and keep it off. If there seems to be something that needs correction in the body, put your mind on God and hold it there until the condition that seems to need a remedial agent suddenly disappears. This is why there is now and then a Student who conceives the idea that there is nothing to heal – because anyone who will practice this the instant there seems an appearance in the body of anything discordant, and who will put the mind on God, knows that "Presence" is the most powerful remedial agent in the Universe.
Many, by the use of this Application, will find instant release from any bodily condition that seems inclined to hold the attention. This is, in reality, consciously taking the problem into the Great Silence where there is nothing to heal because all is Perfection. This is just as true of business conditions as for healing the body. In fact, anything that seems to express imperfection can be handled the same way. NO PERMANENT RELEASE FROM BODILY DISTURBANCE CAN BE HAD, SO LONG AS THE MIND OR ATTENTION IS ALLOWED TO BE DRAWN TO THE CONDITION FROM WHICH ONE WISHES TO BE RELEASED. With many natures the same thing is true of denials, because the more they deny a thing, the more they bind it to them; for in the denial they are letting their attention rest on the very thing from which they wish release.
To truly practice the Presence of God, we must know that there is only One Intelligence which can act, One Power to use, and One Love with which to accomplish. You know by this that you have within, the Victorious, Conquering Activity every moment. Thus, whenever there is anything to be handled – it matters not what – the moment it seems to have an appearance, using your Wings of Determination and Power, say: "God, solve this problem and do it at once! I give You all the power where it belongs! I recognize You as the only Activity! Therefore, this appearance has no reality and dissolves instantly before Thy Mighty Presence!"
