Let me confess. I began this article by writing its end. Continuing this emotive declaration, I want to confess I do that in most of my articles. I never had any reason to disclose this closely kept secret, but today I don’t want to lose readers who would think after the first lines that this is another simple war scenario piece. Please stay with me until after the war.

America Attacks Iran

An American attack on Iran is plausible. In American Led Apocalypse I made over 500 strong points showing America cannot live without a war feeding its military industry. I added to that article a downloadable excel file named American Military Operations. The file contains a partial list of military operations performed by the United States of America since its foundation. It doesn’t include the violent massacres on Native Americans committed by the illegitimate British colonies that became the USA. It doesn’t include an unknown number of classified operations that were never acknowledged by this violent government. It doesn’t include the violence of this government towards its citizens. It doesn’t include operations performed around the world by subservient governments (like Israel and the CAZAB countries) in the name of the noble American Empire. Yet, the list includes over 500 operations! This is more than one per year of existence of this brutal country. Despite the usual self-perception of Americans as a bunch of peaceful folk—happy-go-lucky to the nearest McDonald’s branch—they are probably among the most violent cultures in the history of the world; clearly surpassing the Mongol Empire of Genghis Khan. Unluckily for the American war machine, Iraq and Afghanistan had become tired shadows of a proper war. Thus the White House is industriously seeking for a new candidate to be ruthlessly annihilated; a new enemy for the war of this young decade. What better than Iran?

Moreover, in Yitzhak Obama, I presented circumstantial evidence showing that Israel will try to Wag the Dog, forcing America to attack Iran for the sake of the Zionists. Israel would not directly attack Iran, unless in the non-conventional fashion described in Astonishing Israeli Attack on Iran. Israel is simply unable to perform a conventional attack on such a large and far away target. This provides another possible trigger to such a war. How would it look?

The American archetypal war begins with a pre-dawn, pre-emptive attack wiping most of the other side’s weapons. There is no reason to think that an American conventional attack on Iran would begin differently. Following one of the articles in which I claimed Iran cannot be defeated by either America or Israel, an American reader sent me an email claiming America can turn Iran into glass (meaning it could be wiped out with nuclear weapons). That may happen; but that day would be America’s last day as a legitimate nation. To my taste that already happened after the massacres of Native Americans, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but I am obviously in minority. If nuking Iran, the entire world will turn against America.

After such a dramatic beginning, most probably we will see a missiles war, with missiles hitting targets on both sides. Depending on several variables, Israel may be wiped out.

Yet, a war is won with a soldier sticking a bloody flag atop the other side’s headquarters. If America begins such an event, it must be planning also a large scale ground attack. Coincidentally, the US has surrounded Iran in the last years. Iraq and Afghanistan are little more than large US military bases; Pakistan recently proved being a useful American patsy. Another American ally surrounding Iran is strategic. Bahrain is home to the United States Fifth Fleet. This fleet is responsible for naval forces in the Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and coast off East Africa as far south as Kenya. This is a large military body, comprising an Aircraft Carrier Battle Group, a Carrier Strike Group, an Expeditionary Strike Group, an Amphibious Ready Group, surface combatants, submarines, maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, and logistics ships. Overall, it includes around fifteen thousand people serving afloat. This would be the main body deploying ground forces into Iran; secondary routes through Iraq and Afghanistan would be far less efficient, and probably lead to the slaughter of American forces in an scenario similar to the one experienced by the Soviet Union army in Afghanistan.

Iran has already warned that if attacked it would block the Straits of Hormuz, causing a dramatic worldwide raise in fuel prices. However, seldom does a side in an armed conflict disclose all its weapons. The second part of this article is dedicated to what may happen if America attacks Iran.

American Fleets | Where are the others?

“Hey, hey, hey, not so fast, how many cups of coffee did you drink before writing this?” some of my readers may be thinking by now. They are right. The first part of this article was just a fast exposition of what the USA plans are: early strike and then land occupation. However, Iran is not Iraq. Iran is not even Afghanistan. The American nightmare may start even before their first soldier puts a foot on Iran.

From time to time, I comment on articles of Zionist propaganda published in the Israeli media. The most remarkable one has been Is the Vatican Training Hezbollah? Whenever I do that, I carefully explain why the original article is propaganda, and how can one protect himself from these attacks. On December 17, 2011, I published Iran Hits American Satellite which analyzed an article that appeared the same day on Yedihot Aharonot (God bless the time difference between Israel and Bolivia!). The original article claimed Iran had downed an American satellite with a laser. There were no other sources. Yet, despite a general warning on the exactitude of the data, I accepted the possibility. I connected it to the downing of an American drone by the Iranians that had been highly publicized, and to Chinese jamming technologies, which had been apparently passed to Iran in recent years.

Unexpectedly, the article became a hit in China, where it became the headline of that’s day edition of The 4th Media. This sometimes happens also in Israel, where local media searches for external publications to quote on classified issues, in order to circumvent military censure. In that article, I fulfilled that role for China, which may have provided in such a way a collateral corroboration of the event. Despite the lack of sources, I accepted the initial report because just days before, the drone downing had proved Iran possesses jamming technologies, and because I considered the feat possible. In fact, those with background in signals control may notice I had scattered hidden hints in the article on how that could be done.

The article ends: “If the scoop of Yedihot Aharonot is true, then the theatre has changed and the USA cannot anymore attack Iran in its favored fashion. If Iran can blind imagery sensors on CIA satellites, it can also easily hit communications satellites. The American army relies on these satellites for its communications. Coordinating an American attack on Iran without imagery and communications satellites would require an American army that ceased to exist a generation ago. Have we entered the era of Pax Iraniana?” America may have become a victim of its reliance on susceptible technologies.

The implications of Iran possessing advanced jamming technologies go beyond the space theatre. Iran may have acquired complete control of the Straits of Hormuz without having shot even one bullet. In such a case, the USA has already lost a war that didn’t even begin yet.

What Iran could attempt to do now, has already been done in the past. On June 8, 1967, after eight hours of aerial surveillance, Israel launched a two-hour air and naval attack against the USS Liberty. The attack inflicted 34 dead and 172 wounded on a crew of 294. The Israeli planes were jamming all five American emergency radio channels; thus there was no salvation for the USS Liberty from the Sixth Fleet.

The recent downing of the US drone shows Iran has technology much more sophisticated than the used by Israel to jam the USS Liberty emergency frequencies. It may be capable of blinding American lasers and jamming the ship communications system to the extent of literally grounding on water the Fifth Fleet. Everything is in favor of the Iranians; placing jamming equipment on the shore would be cheap and effective. If they have a sense of humor, they may even use the nearby Bushehr nuclear power plant as a source of power. The American fleet is dependent on electromagnetic communications, and thus is susceptible to jamming. I don’t want to expand much on this, but with a sufficiently strong and sophisticated system, Iran may find itself watching over a large pile of very expensive American iron-junk floating nearby the Straits of Hormuz. Breaking the communications between the different parts of the fleet and between the fleet and its headquarters would in fact destroy the fleet. No radars, no targets acquisition system, no coordination between forces; maybe even the fleet planes’ IFF system—allowing recognition of friendly planes—could be jammed. Eventually, the USA may become the one blocking the straights, though without having had any intentions of doing so.

A few years ago was published the excellent The Code Book: The Science of Secrecy from Ancient Egypt to Quantum Cryptography (see link at bottom). Simon Singh hints toward the end of his book, that the USA is in possession of a Quantum Cryptography system linking the White House with the Pentagon. This is a truly safe communication system (if the signal passes through the system it means it has not been intercepted. Quantum changes randomly destroy the codification during any attempt of interception). Millions were spent on technology that demands a solid connection between the points and that may be easily broken (though not intercepted). Yet, floating ships depend on electromagnetic signals, unless America wants to move back to communications based on shouts (or colorful flags) between ships and naval bases. As the proven drone downing event, and the conjectured satellite blinding case show, the USA is without a proper defense against the new jamming technologies. Pax Iraniana is in the air.

Massive US Military Buildup on Two Strategic Islands: Socotra and Masirah

While quietly casting lines to draw Tehran into talks on their nuclear dispute, PresidentBarack Obama is reported exclusively by DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military and Washington sources to have secretly ordered US air, naval and marine forces to build up heavy concentrations on two strategic islands – Socotra, which is part of a Yemeni archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and the Omani island of Masirah at the southern exit of the Strait of Hormuz.

Socotra is situated 80 kilometers east of the Horn of Africa and 380 kilometers southeast of the Yemeni coastline. It lies athwart the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. A military base there is in a position to oversee the shipping moving in and out of those strategic naval waterways.

Lushly verdant, Socotra is approximately 120 kilometers long by 40 kilometers wide. Its population of 55,000 has its own distinct language and culture. Since 2010, the US has been quietly building giant air force and naval bases on Socotra with facilities for submarines, intelligence command centers and take-off pads for flying stealth drones, as part of a linked chain of strategic US military facilities in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.

The Socotra facilities are so secret that they are never mentioned in any catalogue listing US military facilities in this part of the world, which include Jebel Ali and Al Dahfra in the United Arab Emirates; Arifjan in Kuwait; and Al Udeid in Qatar – all within short flying distances from Iran.

Additional US forces are also being poured into Camp Justice on the barren, 70-kilometer long Omani island of Masirah, just south of the Hormuz entry point to the Gulf of Oman from the Arabian Sea.

US military facilities were established there after the signing of an access agreement with Oman in 1980.

Up to 100,000 US troops present by early March

For the new buildup on Socotra, Washington had to negotiate a new deal with Yemen's ousted ruler Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Injured in an assassination attempt last year, Saleh demanded permission to travel to the United States for medical treatment. The Obama administration first refused, then relented when Saleh made it his condition for consenting to additional troops landing on the island.

Western military sources familiar with the American buildup on the two strategic islands tellDEBKA-Net-Weekly that, although they cannot cite precise figures, they are witnessing the heaviest American concentration of might in the region since the US invaded Iraq in 2003.

Then, 100,000 American troops were massed in Kuwait ahead of the invasion. Today, those sources estimate from the current pace of arrivals on the two island bases, that 50,000 US troops will have accumulated on Socotra and Masirah by mid-February. They will top up the 50,000 military already present in the Persian Gulf region, so that in less than a month, Washington will have some 100,000 military personnel on the spot and available for any contingency.

US air transports are described as making almost daily landings on Socotra and Masirah. They fly in from the US naval base of Diego Garcia, one of America's biggest military facilities, just over 3,000 kilometers away. The US military presence in the region will further expand in the first week of March when three US aircraft carriers and their strike groups plus a French carrier arrive in the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea: They are theUSS Abraham Lincoln, USS Carl Vinson, USS Enterprise and the Charles de Gaulle nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

A fourth US carrier will be standing by in the Pacific Ocean, a few days' sailing time from the water off Iran's coast.

Obama may debunk Republican charges that he is weak on Iran

By early March, therefore, America will have piled up enough military strength within reach of Iran to exercise its consistently avowed military option.

Tuesday, Jan. 24, in his State of the Union address, the president said: “Let there be no doubt: America is determined to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, and I will take no options off the table to achieve that goal. But a peaceful resolution of this issue is still possible, and far better, and if Iran changes course and meets its obligations, it can rejoin the community of nations.”

Our military sources have also picked up reports of British and French air, naval and special forces landings this month in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

All these military concentrations and Obama's latest word on the Iranian nuclear issue tend to confirm that nothing has changed since DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s sources in Washington first reported in November 2011 on the US president's resolve to attack Iran's nuclear facilities in the course of 2012.

The only difference may be the possibility of the date moving up from fall to spring, depending on three developments:

1. The outcome of the secret exchanges taking place between Washington and Tehran on which we have reported exclusively;

2. An Israeli decision to go ahead with a unilateral strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.

President Obama has not been able to convince Israel to drop this option and leave military action entirely to the United States.

3. The US presidential election campaign: Obama may decide to go for an attack to cripple Iran's nuclear program and preempt its production of a bomb to gain a winning hand for trumping his Republican rivals' accusation that he is weak on Iran.

Tania Ouaknine is convinced the police are watching her.

She's not paranoid — it says as much on the red sign painted along the side on the hulking armored truck that's been parked in front of her eight-room Parisian Motel for several days.

"Warning: You are under video surveillance," reads the bold message on the side of the truck.

From the front bumper of the menacing vehicle, another sign taunts: "Whatcha gonna do when we come for you?"

The truck is a new weapon for the Fort Lauderdale Police Department in the fight against drugs and neighborhood nuisances, and it looks like a Winnebago on steroids. They call it "The Peacemaker," and it may be a first in South Florida.

Mixing high tech with simplicity, the in-your-face strategy is straightforward: load an out-of-service armored truck with some of the latest surveillance equipment available and decorate it with police emblems. Then, simply leave it parked in front of trouble spots.

"Make no mistakes about it," said Detective Travis Mandell. "We want people to know that we are watching the bad guys."

In August, police got the first of their two Peacemakers after paying the Brinks company $10 for a discontinued armored bank truck. They retrofitted the vehicle with cameras that can stream live video back to headquarters. With its cameras hoisted on each bullet-proof window, the truck can gather panoramic footage for up to 700 hours.

Last month the department added a second truck to its arsenal, converting a former SWAT vehicle into the second Peacemaker. Police park the unmanned trucks in front of the homes of suspected drug dealers and at crime-plagued street corners.

On a recent afternoon, a Peacemaker had at least one of its eight cameras trained on Ouaknine's one-story establishment.

"They say I am running a whorehouse," said the 60-year-old innkeeper. "I run a motel. The only thing that I don't have is the five stars."

Police wouldn't say why they parked the Peacemaker last week in an abandoned lot directly across Ouaknine's Parisian Motel in the 500 block of Northwest 23rd Avenue.

Police and city records show Ouaknine and her motel had been the subject of an undercover operation targeting prostitution starting in September. Ouaknine was arrested on Oct. 28 on three counts of renting rooms to prostitutes for $20 an hour. Her case is pending.

The city's nuisance abatement board sent her a warning letter and summoned her to appear for a hearing in February based on the investigation. It's the second time since 2008 that the board has targeted the motel, city records show.

She says she's doing nothing illegal.

"They've tried everything to shut me down and have failed," she said. "Now they bring this truck to intimidate me and my customers."

Some neighbors surrounding the Parisian Motel say the truck is another form of constant police harassment.

On a recent afternoon, Leo Cooper watched as two undercover street-crime officers jumped out of an unmarked Ford Crown Victoria just yards from the Peacemaker. They began questioning a group of men gathered at the corner. Within minutes, one of the men ran away. A second man was charged with loitering.

"This is what happens here every day. We can't sit outside without being harassed," said Cooper, 27. "Now we have that truck. Most of us are not doing anything wrong. We can't be outside?"

Why Does the Military Seem to be Preparing for Urban Warfare in the United States?

Recently I published an article covering the January 22-26 multi-agency exercises being conducted in the Los Angeles area.

As I outlined in the article, this is in fact part of a broader trend of joint military-police drills (which often include other agencies, hence the “multi-agency” label) that have been occurring across the United States.

It seems hard to ignore the fact that the armed forces of the United States are training for urban warfare, not urban warfare in the Middle East, but instead here in our own nation.

This is becoming painfully clear due to the fact that the military trains for what they think they’re going to do.

If they are planning to fight in the desert, they would train in the desert and obviously if they are going to be fighting in a metropolitan setting in the United States, they would train in an American City.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what we are witnessing: increasing amount of training in urban American environments.

The Los Angeles drill is just a microcosmic example of this, and one of the more disturbing developments is the announcement of a “mock city roughly the size of downtown San Diego” which has been erected recently at the Twentynine Palms military base.

This is located northeast of San Diego and cost the taxpayer $170 million with the intention of training American military forces to wage urban warfare.

According to the Marine Corps, the facility boasts a staggering 1,560 buildings.

The Corps are quick to highlight that it “will allow troops to practice and refine skills that can be used around the world,” even though it is clearly aimed at preparing troops for warfare in the United States.

The reason this is quite obvious is that urban warfare is radically different depending on the country you are in. This is evidenced by similar mock cities being erected to mimic a city in Afghanistan, a training facility which would not help troops prepare for war in a large American City.

In fact, the article on Military.Com in which this project is detailed mentions the mock Afghan villages, while failing to point out that this is radically different from the previously erected training sites.

This new mock city “is one of the largest and most elaborate” with a whopping seven separate mock city districts spanning a massive 274 acres of desert.

There are fake hotels, markets and other businesses which boast actors who create scenarios to challenge the soldiers.

These scenarios reportedly range from humanitarian relief to peacekeeping missions to police work and, of course, direct combat missions, according to the Marine Corps.

This new facility will allow over 15,000 Marines and Sailors to simultaneously engage in training missions, which can even include operating in the nearly 1,900 feet of underground tunnels in the complex.

The massive mock city also includes a manmade riverbed, dozens of courtyards and compounds which will give trainees practice searching for escape tunnels, hiding spots and weapons caches in an urban environment.

The Associated Press claims that this is merely an expansion of the Mojave Viper training program, launched in 2005, which was aimed at preparing troops for deployment in Iraq.

Just a few months ago in November, the Marine Corps showed off their expansion of the mock Afghan village at Camp Pendleton which cost $30 million and almost quadrupled the size of the facility.

While connecting this new project with the facility at Camp Pendleton is quite inaccurate in my opinion, they do paint a bit of a different picture of the older facility by writing, “In that facility, Marines scramble through a maze of mud walls leading to mosques, schools and carpet sellers, as Hollywood-style explosions go off.”

They mention that “Similar immersion training facilities are slated to open this year at Marine Corps bases in North Carolina, Hawaii and Okinawa,” however they do not make it clear which facility these new ones are similar to.

Are these to be similar to the mock Afghan village with mud walls and mosques? Or will these be similar to the newer facilities which more closely relate to the environment of a large American City?

I think it is much more likely that these new facilities will be closer to an urban environment in the United States, rather than the relatively undeveloped Afghan or Iraqi villages.

This contention is also reflected in the more frequent nature of urban military drills as shown by the exercises in Los Angeles (about which some more specific details have emerged), along with others in major urban areas.

Some other examples that come to mind are: Vibrant Response 12 conducted in August of last year at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center which involved “7,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and DOD civilians responding to a simulated 10-kiloton nuclear detonation in Cincinnati,” military exercises in and around Boston in July of last year, mock night raids in Virginia on January 17, 2012, and more.

These urban warfare exercises are not restricted to the United States. Indeed, similar exercises have occurred in the United Kingdom this year as well.

The problem here is that downtown Los Angeles is nothing like the operational situations in Iraq or Afghanistan, although it would prepare the military for operations to be conducted in Los Angeles itself or any other large American City.

Thanks to a reader, I have also become aware of something called the MUTC.

The MUTC, or Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, is located in South Central Indiana’s Jennings County, which is near Butlerville.

According to the official website, operated by the National Guard, it “is a secluded, self contained community, once home to the Muscatatuck State Developmental Center.

The 1,000 acre site was turned over to the Indian National Guard in July of 2005 and since has been continually evolving into a full-immersion contemporary urban training environment.”

The MUTC seems very similar to the new facility being erected outside of San Diego, due to the fact that it boasts a 180 acre reservoir along with an urban environment which includes some 68 major buildings including: a school, hospital, dormitories, light industrial structures, single family dwellings, a dining facility and administrative buildings.

In total, there is 850,000 square feet of floor space for the military to train on along with an underground utility tunnel system and more than 9 miles of roads and streets.

MUTC does not only involve the military, indeed they say that it is a consortium which includes governmental, public and private entities who work together in order to give the personnel the most realistic training experience available.

Highlighting my grave concerns, which are shared by many of my readers, the MUTC website points out that this facility indeed provides, “Training that can be tailored to replicate both foreign and domestic scenarios and that can be utilized by various civilian and military organizations.”

It is likely quite obvious to my readers that this is focusing on domestic scenarios, as all of the recent military drills in actual urban environments have been doing.

A short list of those who use the MUTC includes: Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and Special Operations Forces, State Emergency Management agencies, Federal Emergency Management Agencies, Federal Bureau of Investigations, State Departments of Health, National Air Patrol, Department of Homeland Security, State Counter-Terrorism Agencies, Law Enforcement agencies and much more.

Apparently pre-existing facilities like the MUTC aren’t enough for the military establishment, leading to new facilities being erected, older facilities being expanded and even more facilities to be unveiled this year.

The burning question this leaves unanswered is: why?

Why are they preparing to wage war with American citizens on our own turf?

There has been a large push to turn the American people into the enemy and training facilities like this, drills like the one in LA along with the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (NDAA) which opens us up to indefinite military detention on nothing more than suspicion.

I have previously written about the fact that all the pieces are in place which leaves me wondering: when will the hammer drop?

The question is left unanswered to this day and I continue to hope that I am totally off base here and that nothing will ever happen.

I hope beyond all hopes that all of this preparation, seemingly for warfare in the United States, is in fact totally innocuous and no such scenario will ever present itself.

Unfortunately, the military and government have shown that they usually know what they’re doing, even if they pretend they don’t when they’re put under scrutiny.

It is quite unlikely that these preparations are totally irrelevant and will not be used in any way.

The United States, Australia, Canada, Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Morocco, and Singapore signed the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) at a ceremony on October 1, 2011, in Tokyo, marking an important step forward in the international fight against trademark counterfeiting and copyright piracy. Representatives of the remaining ACTA negotiating parties, the European Union, Mexico, and Switzerland, attended the ceremony and confirmed their continuing strong support for and preparations to sign the Agreement as soon as practicable. The next step in bringing the ACTA into force is the deposit of instruments of ratification, acceptance, or approval from each of the signatories. The agreement will enter into force following the deposit of the sixth such instrument.

If they do not pay their fines by age 17 they go to jail. What a way to start out life. I would of been in jail by age 12.
