WASHINGTON — The White House and State Department signed off on surveillance targeting phone conversations of friendly foreign leaders, current and former U.S. intelligence officials said Monday, pushing back against assertions that President Obama and his aides were unaware of the high-level eavesdropping.
Professional staff members at the National Security Agency and other U.S. intelligence agencies are angry, these officials say, believing the president has cast them adrift as he tries to distance himself from the disclosures by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden that have strained ties with close allies.
The resistance emerged as the White House said it would curtail foreign intelligence collection in some cases and two senior U.S. senators called for investigations of the practice.
France, Germany, Italy, Mexico and Sweden have all publicly complained about the NSA surveillance operations, which reportedly captured private cellphone conversations by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, among other foreign leaders.
On Monday, as Spain joined the protest, the fallout also spread to Capitol Hill.
Until now, members of Congress have chiefly focused their attention on Snowden’s disclosures about the NSA’s collection of U.S. telephone and email records under secret court orders.
“With respect to NSA collection of intelligence on leaders of U.S. allies — including France, Spain, Mexico and Germany — let me state unequivocally: I am totally opposed,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee.
“Unless the United States is engaged in hostilities against a country or there is an emergency need for this type of surveillance, I do not believe the United States should be collecting phone calls or emails of friendly presidents and prime ministers,” she said in a statement.
Feinstein said the Intelligence Committee had not been told of “certain surveillance activities” for more than a decade, and she said she would initiate a major review of the NSA operation. She added that the White House had informed her that “collection on our allies will not continue,” although other officials said most U.S. surveillance overseas would not be affected. Keep Reading

This administration really is transparent, after all. I called this yesterday, and a few times before:
For example, Medicare and Social Security hold their massive trust funds in US Treasuries. This is the money that’s owed to retirees.
In fact, nearly $5 trillion of the $17 trillion debt (almost 30%) is owed to intragovernmental agencies like Social Security and Medicare.
So now they basically want to stop counting this debt. Poof. Overnight, they’ll make $5 trillion disappear from the debt.
On paper, this looks great. But in reality, they’re setting the stage to default on Social Security beneficiaries without causing a single ripple in the financial system.
Remember, when governments get this deep in debt, someone is going to get screwed.
They may default on their obligations to their creditors, causing a crisis across the entire financial system. Or perhaps to the central bank, causing a currency crisis.
But most likely, and first, they will default on their obligations to their citizens. Whatever promises they made, including Social Security, will be abandoned.
And if you read between the lines, this new bill says it all.
They say "retirees." I wonder if that affects the disability and SSI (welfare) portions.

Too many in too short a period of time to believe it.
The article below, “Engineered Snow Storms Begin Again” , was posted as the geoengineered snow storm over South Dakota was just unfolding. As shown with weather maps in the article, the temperatures all around this “winter storm” were not just above freezing, but extremely warm. Regions near SD were in the 85 degree range. Snow began falling in many areas of this “storm” at temps into the high 40s.
If you view the video in the article linked at the bottom of this comment, you will see that many areas littered with dead cattle have no snow left at all, just dead cows.
The Weather Channel theatrically named this storm “Atlas”. This storm was as unprecedented as it was unnatural. The massive water content of chemically nucleated snow makes it as heavy as concrete.

In addition to the cows being trapped in the “concrete snow”, the “endothermic” reaction in chemically nucleated snow would likely make for temporarily extremely cold snow/ice temperatures in spite of the warmer air temperatures in this “storm”. (Endothermic reaction from barium and ammonium can drop temps almost 100 degrees as shown in youtube video in original “Engineered Snow Storms Begin Again” article below.
Though this effect is not long lasting as one can see by the now almost snow free South Dakota, for the cows temporarily trapped in this concrete chemically reactive snow, it was more than enough to kill them.
I contacted the South Dakota Ranchers association and tried to pass on data about geoengineering and weather modification to them. The representative I reached was not receptive as she felt “our government would never modify the weather”.
I hope we can all make a concerted effort to seek out people, groups, and organizations in South Dakota and other locations that will soon enough be impacted by the ongoing geoengineering insanity, and give them a “heads up” . Send them an appeal to investigate and back that appeal up with credible data/articles and a source for more information. We must all work together to get the word out now, time is short.

Interestingly enough, ISON could make "Mercury go Comet" anytime between Nov. 10-23rd & COMET ENCKE will be only 2.3 million miles from Mercury Nov. 18th which COULD exacerbate ISON's effects with Mercury ??? ISON and ENCKE will get together in the constellation of Lybra alsmot at the same time ! But Encke will get in Lybra just slightly BEFORE ISON (Enlil), exactly as according to the Sumerians texts. : (see image below)
This will happen on November 24th of this year, just 4 days prior to ISON’s perihelion !
How come two comets having all Bible and sumerians caracteristics could come close together in the same part of the sky just before a major astronomical event, and not be significant in prophetic nature ?
But there is more. Enki is the LORD OF WATERS ACCORDING TO THE SUMERIANS. So guess from where comet 2P/Encke comes from ?
