bugged out: two months and counting!

we got the hell off the mainland two months ago. swimming, sunning, eating fruit off the trees and camping on the beach. no longer constantly sick, and watching the mainland mayhem from a surreal distance.

but why the hell is everyone else still sitting in front of their computers and not doing anything to find safety and sustainability? what the heck are ya'll WAITING for? does it have to get so bad you're on your deathbed thinking, 'was it the chemtrails, or the radiation?'

what's up with the fascination with the end, almost a mesmerisation; like so many claim to be awake but are still brainwashed by media? how long can you walk away from your computer for, without turning your mind back to it within an hour or so?

  • I wish I could convince people that those fukushima reactors are spewing radiation all over the U.S.  (worst on the west coast).  At least I am taking remedies (along with family members) to protect from radioactive fallout.
  • i've known all my life S was going to HTF. i've always lived very near and dear with the earth. i've always followed events and changes. my dreams told me to get out of the pacific northwest. ya wanna talk radiation? everyone, everywhere is getting it...but the mainland US is getting hit HARD. watched the current jet stream today...yikes! and no where NEAR hawaii.

let's not forget the decades of nuclear waste, explosions, and general toxicity...planet-wide.

800 foot tidal wave is a bit of an exaggeration. besides, it's NOT HARD to move 800 feet up from shore.we're at least that right now, at the internet cafe. ;)

i haven't followed the whole elenin/PX thing, at ALL. i haven't based my decisions on conspiracy theory. i based it on what i know and feel daily, living in a toxic soup in oregon. knowing the quakes are coming. knowing that NOTHING is more precious to me than the earth, and my son.

most people will want 'proof.' animals and birds dying en masse, the earthworm incident, the HAARP bullshit and ongoing tornadoes in the midwest...nuclear reactors in danger all over the US...yosemite acting up...chemtrails...everyone feeling sick...

i'll take my chances in the tropics. we're stronger, happier, healthier, and if we all go down, we'll go down living in a gorgeous place and having some respite from the riots, economic collapse (still pretty self-sufficient here), and all that. not sitting for hours upon hours every day as the pot of water we are sitting in gets hotter and hotter.

i have never been called sweet baby girl, LOL! NEVER!!!!! strong, independent, yes...and a good swimmer. haha!

  • Dystopia,

Simply put obligations to those I love and care for.  My gf and I both come from large families with lots of siblings.  I personally have made my peace with my family and told them all I can regarding the earth changes.

They are preparing which means a lot to me.  My gf's family is in a slightly different situation.  She lost her mother at the beginning of this year and her father had a stroke early last month.  Mind you she has six siblings, one of which is disabled and another who happens to be certifiable(at least in my eyes).

She will not abandon them and I am not quite to the point where I can afford the move for all of us which will have to wait until April of next year when I can cash out my profit sharing.

Life issues all of us different hurtles to cross and all of us will make the move when its viable.  The statement about getting burned by Y2K is accurate and appropriate as well.

And know that I take your statements for what they are a friendly reminder that we should all be working towards our goals as quickly as possible because time is short.

I hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
  • I will be here as long as my internet is up.  It's my mission.  And I'm already in my safe location.  Others may be here too, to help share survival information with late comers.

  • Sweet Baby Girl.. WHY would you bug out on a beach, when there are going to be 800ft tall waves coming at you?  This I do not understand...
  • Yes curious which island?  Most islands will not be safe during the shift, except for maybe the Hawaiian chain (not sure about the main island of Hawaii though due to it's active volcanoes).  Oahu has very tall mountains to escape tsunamis but just like jonas said there are radiation problems there due to fukushima (one would have to intake things to counteract the radiation on a daily basis).

  • It is hard for people to leave in an instant, We have so much responsibilities that we cannot leave just yet.
  • Hopefully by "off the mainland" you don't mean Hawaii. Hawaii has been hit with quite a bit of the good ol' Fukushima Flakes. I remember reading an article about Hilo milk being radioactively contaminated. The only places I can think of that will remain unaffected by radiation are those in the southern hemisphere. For a little while at least. But wherever you are Dystopia, if you feel more at peace than I am happy for you. If you are camping near a beach it would probably be a good idea to have a shortwave radio to monitor for potential tsunamis. Might want to map out the best route to higher elevation just in case. There were three 7+ earthquakes in the South Pacific today.
  • Perhaps she's taking the "enjoy what's left" strategy...she's right about not being able to get away from the computer though...I have to work on that, not getting much else done while trying to figure this thing out.

  • What beach in the world is by any means safe.
