Civilians remain hostage after Syrian Kurds clashed with Al-Qaeda linked militants in the north-eastern Syrian towns of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain, along the Syrian-Turkish border over the weekend.
“In these areas, there has long been confrontation between the troops of the international extremists affiliated with al-Qaeda and local Kurdish militias who stood up to protect their homes from attacks by radical Islamists,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its website.
Syrian Kurd fighters captured a rebel leader, or emir, identified as Abu Musab. In response, Al-Qaeda extremists abducted 500 civilians, including woman and children.
“They started to kill innocent people by cutting off their heads,” the statement read. “Kurds had to free Abu Musab in exchange for an agreement to release hostages.”
Despite the Kurdish fighters agreed to release Abu Musab in exchange for people, about 200 people are still in the hands of extremists. The commander was freed as agreed.
The Kurdish gunmen have been fighting to expel al-Qaeda militants from the northeastern province of Hassakeh over the past week, with the battle significantly intensifying over the weekend.
The clashes between the Kurdish People’s Defense Units (YPG) and the al-Qaeda-affiliated Jahbat al-Nusra erupted in the city of Ras al-Ain in the northern province of Hasakeh on July 16, when at least four militants were killed.
The Kurds issued a “victory message,” celebrating the “liberation” of Ras al-Ain, claiming to hold control over the entire city as well as the headquarters of the Islamist combatant groups there.
On Saturday evening, the fighting spread to the city of Tal Abyad.
“Moscow strongly condemns the atrocities of international terrorists in northeastern Syria and the excesses and abuses perpetrated by extremists against a peaceful Kurdish population which is not involved in the ongoing political and military conflict in Syria,” the Ministry said.
The city of Ras al-Ain is home to some 50,000 people including a mix of Kurds, Arabs, Christians, and Yezidis – a Kurdish religious minority.
London-based RT contributor Afshin Rattansi says Western powers supporting organizations like al-Qaeda-linked Jahbat al-Nusra are to be blamed for the situation in northern Syria. “There has been a discrimination of Kurds in that region, but now we have a situation where the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Britain are actively supporting al-Qaeda-linked organizations that are ransacking and murdering women and children – certainly over the past 48 hours,” he said. “All we are hearing from London and Washington are talks about a no-fly zone and arming the very people who are killing women and children there. And from Turkey, certainly the Turkish right wing has brought ideas of invading Syria from the north to kill more Kurdish people.”
Rattansi says the UN Security Council (UNSC) should look closely at the situation there.
“Russia and China should bring this up at the UNSC. Otherwise, the prospect for these 200 hostages is pretty grim,” he said.
I had seen some evidence of this type of manipulation before, but Jim Stone does a good job at laying out how ludicrous it is. 50 plus MPG cars not allowed in the U.S. or Canada
The following report is intended to be a wake up call for the American people. There are no tricks here, such as quoting imperial gallons, referencing tiny cars, electric cars, or even hybrids. These cars are straight up 50 plus mile per gallon winners which are banned for sale in the U.S., and if you think you can bring one home, think again, in America such cars are allowed a 30 day visit upon crossing the border, after which if they are found on American soil they get impounded and if not immediately shipped out of the country thereafter they are destroyed.

With a combined mileage of 52.8 U.S. mpg and an even higher highway mpg, the Urban Cruiser SUV crossover by Toyota, which is a European version of the Scion XD features front wheel drive for the ultimate mileage and if you are willing to sacrifice and get the 4 wheel drive version, you will suffer in life with a combined mileage of 48 mpg.
With a highway mileage of 56 mpg per U.S. gallon, the Nissan Qashqai SUV crossover would be sure to make any carbon tax junkie shiver with dread. Fortunately the American version delivers only 26 highway mpg (22 combined) so the local carbon tax tyrant can rest easy.
With 78.5 imperial miles per gallon highway, the 1.6 blue motion TDI Volkswagen Passat wagon is definitely forbidden in America, where in the smaller American gallons it would deliver a carbon tax blood curdling 65.4 highway mpg.
This is the 261 MPG Volkswagen I mentioned a few months ago.... It ended up getting ridiculed for only achieving a combined mileage of 160 MPG in U.S. gallons (192 combined in Imperial gallons), but come on now, at that point, WHO CARES. Even at 160 MPG combined, which means the highway mpg is well into the 200's, this particular car exposes the fuel mileage lie so harshly that there is absolutely no recovery or hiding from the truth, even Europeans are getting scammed at 65 mpg while Americans are getting more than raped.
Ever heard of a 74mpg Cadillac sized family sedan that is not a hybrid and has no power plug? Not on the American market but this car does exist. And it proves that hybrids are a scam. This 2013 Seat Toledo is close to the same size as the 2013 4 door Cadillac CTS and it gets an astonishing 74 mpg with what by all accounts is just an ordinary engine.
Americans need to stand up and demand the government to stop censoring search results to prevent Americans from learning the truth elsewhere. Americans need to stand up and call the government on the carpet over the lies that "40 MPG can be achieved in the future" all the while even American car companies such as Ford are producing 65 plus MPG cars for sale on foreign markets right on American soil. It is time to end the lie, and tell these scamming frauds in our government to STICK IT.

'There's just something really weird that happened under Janet Napolitano'

Democrats and Republicans largely heaped praise upon Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano after she announced she would resign her post later in the year, but a longtime constitutional attorney says there is not much to applaud – especially for anyone concerned about preserving freedom and limiting government intrusion in their lives.
“What the Department of Homeland Security became under Janet Napolitano is this monstrous surveillance and very intimidating group,” said Rutherford Institute President John Whitehead, a constitutional attorney for the past 40 years and author of “A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State.”
“I think originally there were some good intentions with the Department of Homeland Security, but what happened under President Obama is that it accelerated rapidly,” Whitehead told WND. “I criticized George Bush’s policies. Under President Obama, we’re zooming.”
Whitehead said the Napolitano legacy of reducing freedom is evident across the board, starting in early 2009 when the department issued a report listing returning soldiers as one of the greatest threats to American security.
“Another program Napolitano set up is Operation Vigilant Eagle, which is a surveillance system done on all returning veterans from overseas, where they watch Facebook posts, text messages, emails of returning veterans to see if they’re going to be disgruntled,” Whitehead said. “There are quite a few disgruntled veterans. In fact, one that we helped just filed a major lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security.”
“They arrived one day at his door, arrested him and actually put him in a mental institution for his Facebook posts criticizing the government. We got him out and then we sued the government,” Whitehead said.
Another outrage, according to Whitehead, is the harassment of Americans living on or somewhat near our national borders with Mexico and Canada. He said law-abiding citizens have been forced to hand over their laptops while the government officials download the information. The Rutherford Institute has also received reports of Americans being removed from their cars and searched without probable cause.
These allegations, and criticism of drone use near the borders, come as Congress hotly debate immigration reform legislation. Whitehead said the problems he’s talking about have nothing to do with border security.
“The people coming over from Mexico are not coming over at checkpoints. Incredibly stupid, and that’s where a lot of emphasis has been placed,” Whitehead said. “Obviously, they’re not focused in the right direction. They put drones on the border but the drones obviously have not been very effective. In fact, what we found our about those drones now, on the Canadian border, turned the drones in. They’re flying inland, photographing and watching what American citizens are doing and surveillance on American towns.”
Whitehead said that sort of activity will only get more common and more intrusive until the American people stand up and refuse to accept what he considers a major infringement on our constitutional liberties.
“Drones are coming in 2015. They’re going to be awesome. They’ll have scanning devices, rubber bullets, sound cannons. They can look through the walls of your home,” Whitehead said. “They’re just going to bypass the Fourth Amendment, and they already are doing that.”
A change at the top of DHS doesn’t give Whitehead any hope that the government will rein in its activities. He says potential replacements, like New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, will likely be no different from Napolitano.

If you cannot see and cannot know, you will not know what to do, and you will follow others who claim they know what to do, but who in most cases will lead you into greater danger.

If you fortify yourself and that is all that you do on the outside, others will come to take what you have. If you merely stockpile food and other necessities and that is all that you do, then others will come to take what you have. There is nowhere to run and hide, you see. And when you finally come to realize this, you will recognize you do not have an answer, and perhaps then and only then you will turn to Knowledge. You will pray to God for guidance. You will pray to God for assistance. You will pray to God for deliverance. And perhaps you will have an open mind and realize that without real inner certainty, the certainty that Knowledge can provide, you have no advantages. You have no security. You have no clarity and no certain direction.
But if they wait for the need for change to be overwhelming, it will be too late. Then everyone will panic. Like a herd of beasts in the fields, they will panic. They will run any which way. They will not act with any certainty or any reason. Their actions will be desperate.
If you wait until the evidence is overwhelming, it will be too late for you to make any wise preparations. Then your
position will be untenable. Then you will be in a position of extreme powerlessness and vulnerability. Then your options will be very few. There will be no food on the shelves at the stores. The banks will be closed. People will be in panic. It does not take much to create this panic.
You do not want to be in this position. You must act before others act. You must prepare before others prepare. You must go on the strength of Knowledge within yourself and upon the evidence from the world and not upon consensus with other people. For when everyone agrees that the Great Waves of change are upon them, it will be too late to prepare. You must have this strength and this integrity.

(NaturalNews) If you live on the West Coast of the U.S. or Canada, you may want to reconsider your water filtration method as well as how you select and prepare food. Evidently, the nightmare of Fukushima is far from over – another 16 million years to be exact. Due to the astonishingly long half-life of iodine-129, the whole ecosystem of the Pacific Coast will be contaminated pretty much forever.
It's my mission to educate and lead by example. I started this blog as a response to The Master Plan For Earth Revealed blog and it kept growing until it became too big, so I turned it into a blog. While The Master Plan article sounds lovely, it just wasn't resonating with me. It sounds too pie-in-the-sky. Remember the saying, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is." A well worn saying, I know, but still just as true today.
The people of Earth have to grow up, to mature, to become citizens of a higher state. In regards to the light chambers which are said to speed ascension, how is doing the work for us immature humans going to accomplish maturity? Does doing your child's or grandchild's homework for them make them more educated or disciplined? Of course it doesn't. It's a temporary, easy out for the child but it doesn't give the child the skills needed to build upon. It seems to me that raising the vibration of beings without them having raised their own responsibility and discipline levels would be like giving children guns, or nuclear weapons, to play with. Does it make sense that's what will really be going on in the "ascension/light" chambers? Think about it. It sounds like "dumbed down" education. Pass the kids through and graduate 'em as fast as you can. Don't worry about quality or ensuring a good, solid foundation. I can't prove it, but I remain wary of it. (In my past, I have been healed by light therapy, but that is a different thing.)
What about those who aren't ready to leave 3D? Are they going to be forced to ascend? Does this not violate free will, a universal principle? But it's a special dispensation from heaven, it's being said, because we've gone through so much. Okay. It's being said. But have you asked yourself who is saying it, and for what purpose? The devil can have blue eyes and wear blue jeans. Didn't Stephen King's The Stand prove that, lol? But it's true. Negative entities with higher powers can appear as they wish (even appear angelic or benevolent), they can put thoughts in your minds, they can put thoughts in the minds of channelers. So, channeled information needs to be discerned very, very carefully.
From what I am getting, those ETs who are truly benevolent aren't coming to save us. They will manage the nuclear problem because of its far-reaching impact beyond Earth, and they will help where they can if (i) they are asked and (ii) it would not be considered interference, but our efforts are required, too. Remember the saying, "Beware Greeks bearing gifts" (a reference to the Trojan horse*). Today, the principle remains the same, but the actors are different: "Beware ETs bearing gifts." It's likely a lure, not a gift. Benevolent ETs expect us to use our own ingenuity, it's part of our evolution, taking responsibility for ourselves. Think of ETs bearing gifts as drug dealers... get you hooked, then they own you.
I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, and it is really up to you to choose what to believe, what resonates with you, but from what I am discerning there is a spiritual war going on for the souls of humanity and great deception is afoot. Humanity has to be very, very careful, and very, very discerning from here on out.
I say this because from everything I've read, heard, experienced, etc. over the past four years, I have found only a few sources that don't push the easy ascension and easy money buttons, nor become involved in politics. They focus on how to spiritually empower humankind and nothing else. These are the Arcturians, the Pleiadeans (esp. Laarkmaa), and possibly the Andromedans (while not totally sure about them yet, I've not seen anything against them).
Maybe it's just my sensibilities, but the Arcturians and Laarkmaa Pleiadians messages have a sweetness and an uplifting, empowering tone about them that no other sources have (that I've found). That sweetness, I think, is genuine love. If you are not detecting the high vibration of love in what you read, consider that the source may not be coming from love, which would be a way to tell if the source is from benevolent ETs or other beings, or not.
So, I am wary of the mantra of easy money and easy ascension "because we are so deserving." A powerful tool to being deceived is Ego Stroking 101. Cults use it all the time to snare their victims. And most of us know the reality of "easy credit," right? How easy is credit? It's not. It's bondage. But the bondage is sold to people as "easy." It is a deception that preys upon people's natural laziness and preference to take the path of least resistance. What? Work and be disciplined and save up the money to buy a car (or furniture or appliances or electronics, etc.)? Remember: "Easy credit" = "Easy bondage."
Another point about the $$$ abundance is that it pushes people's need and want for money, gets them to focus on it instead of their own spiritual development, it raises expectations only to lower them when the next delay is announced, which lowers emotional vibrations (and is food for some negative entitites) and keeps people from progressing spiritually.
Mythi is a case in point. He strung everyone along, even giving out a radio frequency to tune to if the internet went down, and in his last message he basically said goodbye, you're not going to make it. What a tremendous let down for those who actually believed him. That is not how positive beings behave.
Add into the mix the contradictory messages on how ascension will play out: from ascension (or light) chambers (Nidle, Dr. May) and everyone will ascend, to ascension being a process, vs. Tolec/Andromeda Council saying it will all take place in January 2014, to everyone will go, vs. those who choose not to go will be transported to another 3D world, etc., so there is no real agreement on how this will play out, if it does at all. Remember, 2012 came and went and suddenly the new song was it was the beginning of the process, not the end all. But very few that I know of (Jim Self, actually, is the only one I know of) said that before the fact. No, it wasn't the messages of an all-knowing, benevolent ET race, but a scramble and regroup of a failed lie. It reminds me of that 7 of 10 fiction that was pushed as something that would definitely happen at the end of 2010, but when it didn't, the story was changed to it was the beginning of the process. Remember that?
So, for me, I am tuning out the noise about abundance ($$$) and ascension chambers and Obama-is-an-old-soul-star-seed. (If he's a star seed, he's a GMO star seed owned by Monsanto and corporate America. In fact, if he is really a star seed, I'd have to say that we were better off with earlier, non-star-seed presidents.) However, I'll still be posting Poof (as annoying as it is) and other stuff for the benefit of those who choose to follow it, so nothing dramatically is changing. I'm just sharing where I am at at this point as a part of my continuing mission. And there is no judgment in what you choose to believe. I've just moved beyond it, that's all, so take it FWIW.
Nor does this mean members can't post what resonates with them. Everyone has to find their truth and walk their own paths. I went through a lot of "Mythis," ascension material and ET stuff before having enough information to form a conclusion, and I know it is not perfect or fully formed, but it is good enough at this point in my journey to allow me to focus on that which I have found to be worthy to focus on. It was hidden beneath all the disinformation. In other words, I have enough information to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff reasonably well. This narrows it down and makes it easier to focus, and not have my mind cluttered with useless or confusing stuff. And, if some of these things actually do come to pass, then that is great, as long as humanity benefits from it and there are no strings attached. I can be wrong about Obama, but I don't think I am. If it turns out he is a good guy, then that's great. It will still blow my mind how a star seed came through Chicago politics. Go figure.
My best advice at this time is to meditate, learn to still the ego chatter in your mind long enough so you can hear your inner guidance, and to keep learning until you compile your own base of information that will assist you in distinguishing the difference between wheat and chaff.

P.S., from what I have gleaned, you can distinguish positive ET craft from less-than-positive ET craft. The less-than's are more mechanical and don't resonate love. The positive craft are shimmery and resonate love.

To understand what is going on now, look back at the fall of the Soviet Union. While in retrospect it seems like it happened overnight, at the time it seemed to take forever. First there were strikes at a Polish shipyard and other troubles that went on for months before suddenly the Polish Communist government fell. Then there was similar strife in Germany for what seemed like forever until, overnight, the Berlin wall fell. So it went in spurts and stops until the Soviet Union itself collapsed. The situation in the West is now similar; governments have fallen in Italy, Spain, Greece, Australia, Japan and elsewhere but the big Kahuna, the corporate government of the United States, is still standing. However, under the surface tension is building and something fundamental is about to give way, possibly in the autumn.

First of all, all the people studying martial arts around the world can be reached by analogue means via Chodoin’s network. His often controversial personal political views are irrelevant to this. Finally, there is the White Dragon Society. The WDS can only be used for the greater good and not for personal benefit. The WDS recognizes that a fascist coup d’etat in the West has turned Western civilization from something overall benevolent into something parasitical and murderous. In order to attain world peace, the planet still faces a few housekeeping problems. In Asia, a return to independence for Okinawa and a reunification of the Korean peninsula is expected to be a condition for lasting regional peace. In the Middle East, the rogue nation of Israel will have to cease its criminal and anti-social behavior. The ancient family feud that split Islam into Sunni and Shia sects will also have to be dealt with. These issues can all be dealt with without a need for war so long as the rest of the planet insists.
Then there is the problem of the rogue outfit, founded in 1871, known as the corporate government of the United States. Right now it is under a collective leadership arrangement using Barak Obama was its spokesperson. This group is also finally making the truth about Obama’s past public.

The reason this criminal is still in power is that the military industrial complex uses him to symbolize the dictatorial powers that they have conveyed on their presidency. There is also the lack of a suitable alternative within the existing Washington D.C. power structure. The military industrial complex is nonetheless promising to work with the WDS as soon as it and its allies get control of the money printing presses. When this happens, all that was good about the Republic of the United States of America (as opposed to the fascist United States of America Corporation now in power) will be restored.
So, the Comittee of 300, the families that own the Federal Reserve Board, the unelected management of the United Nations and other leaders of the current governing structures have been put on notice.
They must hand over the process of creating and distributing dollars and Euros in a transparent and public manner to the people of the planet. They must also agree to mobilize existing government and corporate structures for a massive campaign to end poverty, end war and stop environmental destruction. In theory, they have already agreed to help attain these goals. In practice they are doing almost nothing. If negotiations fail over the summer, the autumn will be colored in red.
