JUST IN: Solar Activity Ramps Up - Warning Issued

Solar activity has increased to active during the past 24 hours, featuring a long duration M9.1 flare and six C flares.

The M9.1 flare was released by sunspot region 1598 on the east limb of the Sun and peaked at 18:14 UT on October 20th. A high-speed shock wave registered 516 kilometers per second (320 miles per second) observed at 18:15 UT. An associated CME was observed by LASCO C2 at 19:00 UT, but is not directed towards Earth.

Earlier today sunspot region 1596 produced a M1.3 (2003UT), C7.8 (0316UT), and C5.6 (0534UT). Both regions 1596 and 1598 maintain potential for further isolated M-class to X-class activity.

Solar wind speed is expected to increase slightly days one and two under the influence of a coronal hole wind stream. NASA and NOAA has issued a WARNING for high flying aircraft, the ISS, NSSO and NSTAC due to an increased possibility of satellite deep dielectric discharge.

In a flux of high energy charged particles, they penetrate the spacecraft or satellite's outer surface and bury themselves in dielectric materials such as circuit boards and the insulation in coaxial cables. The buildup of charge will continue until the dielectric strength of the material is exceeded, when a sudden electrical discharge will occur. This miniature lightning stroke can cause permanent damage in the associated or nearby circuitry.

Watch for increased extreme weather events which include earthquake, volcano, tornado, and cyclone activity over the next 48 to 72 hours.

Greetings, I am Earth Soul. Some of you call me Gaia. You live on Earth, my physical form, my sphere. Along with the Creator God of this universe, I created this physical form millions of years ago. I am a great soul, not unlike the great souls from which your soul is individuated.

You, my human residents, are asking many questions about forthcoming shifts of my physical form. I am responding to those questions. Let me first address the subject of the shift of the magnetic pole of my physical form. North will become south; south will become north. This will happen rather abruptly in cosmic terms, although the meanderings of my magnetic poles has been recorded by your scientists for some years, and you have evidence that a magnetic pole shift has happened many times before. I will not predict the impact that this pole shift will have on your mechanisms and electronics. It will surely have impact on your psyches. As with many things that we all initiate, we do not necessarily foresee all the ramifications of a given action.

Now let us turn to the matter of the axis of rotation of my physical form. In its current slant it gives my physical form seasons as I rotate about my star. This axis of rotation was distorted many years ago to its present slant. It will now be corrected so that my physical form will rotate perpendicular to my star. This shift is underway, to be completed within 4 rotations about my star. I am looking forward to this correction, as it will produce a moderate climate in most areas of the surface of my physical form. Those of you who remain will be the beneficiaries of such a salubrious climate.

Let us now speak of what it means to “ascend to the 5^th Dimension.” At the time I created this sphere, I was vibrating in 5^th Dimension. Due to the activities of the dark energy that invaded my physical form, and subsequently my human inhabitants, I dropped out of 5^th Dimension. This was a very painful event for me, as I saw my physical form degenerate under the influence of the darkness that prevailed among humans. I was unable to halt my own drift into lower frequencies. For many rotations I drifted in these lower frequencies — I am speaking here as Earth Soul — and attempted to raise my own vibration. Caught in the dark energy’s carefully laid trap, I cried out for help. Creator asked if I wished to continue as the soul of this sphere and return it to its pristine form. I replied yes. It was then that I called out for assistance. Many of your human brothers and sisters from other star systems responded, providing much needed light energy. The process of climbing out of the lower vibrations has been ongoing since that time. As of this communication, I am fully restored to my former 5^th Dimension brilliance, but my physical form lags behind.

Now comes the rest of the program to restore my physical form to its former pristine condition. Much has happened, and continues to happen, to my land, water, and air. I speak from personal experience; it is quite painful. Yes, painful, for all in my physical form –rocks, water, plants and animals — are conscious.

Those from around the universe who possess the technology to correct the invasions and corruptions of my land, water, and air stand ready to act. However they cannot do so until the vestiges of the darkness are removed from my physical form. When that happens they will step in and, in conjunction with the humans remaining on my sphere, restore my physical form to its pristine condition

I see that you still have more questions about physical form and how it will change in this process. Rather than ascending to the 5^th Dimension, I am talking about bringing 5^th Dimension into physical form. This will mean changes to what you currently perceive as my physical form – rocks, water, plants, and animals. What you currently perceive as physical form is very dense, even though it is mostly space. My new physical form will be less dense, and you as a 5^th Dimension human of the New Earth will perceive it as less dense, but not without form and some solid characteristics. In addition to being less dense, it will have a glow about it, for it will contain more light. Incidentally, your physical bodies will also be less dense and will radiate an inner glow.

I am aware of the various maps that predict the eventual shape of the surface of my physical form. As you ponder these, keep in mind what is true of all communications from the higher vibrations, including this one: Such communications are highly dependent on the background and dispositions of the person receiving the information. This is true of all communications from the higher vibrations to the lower. From your recent experiences in the higher vibrations, Mark, you know that the higher vibrations exist without words or thoughts. You have had trouble telling others about what you have experienced. “It is beyond words,” you say. Thus to arrive at images or words that can be communicated to others, the impressions from the higher realms must be translated by the receiver.

Thus attempts to communicate how the surface of my physical form will ultimately look are somewhat muddled. Furthermore as I have said before, no one knows exactly how a particular action will play out in physical form. If it is true of your actions, it is certainly true of something as complex as the physical form of my sphere.

I have already begun initiating changes in line with restoring my physical form to a pristine state. Also there is a part of me that enjoys not explaining exactly how it will all turn out. You need a little wonder in your lives. So be cautious about projections of my physical form’s ultimate appearance, and enjoy where you are and what you are doing.

Your abilities as creators are playing a part in the transformation of my physical form. I am most grateful for all who have turned away from the fear-based 3^rd Dimension and are now functioning in 4^th and 5^th Dimensions. Your light energies are enabling me to move more smoothly through my transformation. The same results will occur, but with less trauma to all.

The process of returning my physical form to its pristine condition will require physical changes. Lemuria and Atlantis will once again emerge as significant landmasses. Portions of your current continents will disappear under ocean waters. Some lands will rise in elevation; some will fall. All of this is against a background of a greatly expanded sphere due to the infusion of light and the transformation of dense physical form into lighter physical form. The sum total of these will be a much-changed sphere from the standpoint of landmasses and oceans, and do not forget the moderate climate.

As to the humans who will reside on my physical form, all who remain will be in what you term 4^th Dimension – through a mass ascension process. This is an interim phase between the denseness of the 3^rd Dimension and the fullness and light of the 5^th Dimension. Eventually all humans who remain on my 5^th Dimension physical form will, of necessity, be functioning in the 5^th Dimension — they will bring the 5^th Dimension into their physical forms. Moving from the 4^th Dimension density to the 5^th Dimension density requires an individual choice on the part of each human. The infusion of the 5^th Dimension into physical form is being accelerated by the efforts of numerous light workers as they give of themselves to assist my return to a pristine condition and then my advancement to a brilliant self-illuminating globe. By doing this they assist all to more easily make this transformation. As for the timing of these changes, expect to see the first of them quite soon. The remainder will take several trips about my star.

One additional note, extreme weather, forest fires, volcanic activity, and earthquakes will intensify as I cleanse my physical form. This is not the result of any particular karma, just my need to work out residual fear in the least destructive manner possible. These will end within a few rotations about my star, as we all settle into higher vibrations.

Let me finish by saying that I have great admiration for all humans who choose to incarnate on Earth (my physical form). I know how difficult your time here can be – but remember the lessons that this schoolhouse planet provides. After the transformation of my physical form, those wishing such an “Earthly” experience will need look elsewhere.

I am Earth Soul. It has been my great pleasure to communicate with you this day. I look forward to the day when all can call my physical form home to a civilization of light. Blessings to all.

My Siberian Huskey Asher likes to take a treat outside with him. This morning I watched him take his beefhide bone into the back yard. He also likes to burry them, but I discurage that. Since my back yard grass is in bad shape due to the drought this summer I decided to let him have some fun. He found a spot near the fence and planted it about four inches down. Then he came in and got another one to take outside. This time he just put it under some leaves. As I watched him haveing fun it hit me, he is saving food. My dog is a Prepper!

Ryan’s political theater has jeopardized donations to the food bank.

Last weekend, Paul Ryan demonstrated his compassion for the poor by rolling up his sleeves at an Ohio soup kitchen and faking a photo op. The VP candidate waltzed into a Cleveland-area Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society well after everyone had eaten and left, and washed some pans that may or may not have already been cleaned while reporters took pictures.

In addition to widespread mockery, Ryan’s half-assed attempt to simulate concern for the poor for 15 minutes drew an angry response from the President of the facility, Brian J. Antal, who told the Washington Post that Ryan’s slimy political theater might jeopardize donations to the food bank. “We’re a faith-based organization; we are apolitical because the majority of our funding is from private donations,” he said. ” … we “can’t afford to lose funding from these private individuals.”

As it turns out, the privilege of being Ryan’s background scenery has already taken a toll on the organization. Antal told the Huffington Post t hat many donors have fled, leading to a loss of funds.

“It appears to be a substantial amount,” Antal told the Huffington Post. “You can rest assured there has been a substantial backlash.”

On top of all that, deranged conservatives have been harassing volunteers, Antal claims:

Ryan supporters have now targeted Antal and his soup kitchen, Antal said, including making hundreds of angry phone calls. Some members of Antal’s volunteer staff have had to endure the barrage as well, he said. “The sad part is a lot of [the callers] want to hide behind anonymity,” he said, adding that if someone leaves their name and number he has tried to return their call.

Reporters barred from covering Paul Ryan exchange with homeless Ohioans

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Paul Ryan visited a soup kitchen here Saturday on his way to the airport, but by the time the GOP vice presidential nominee and his family had arrived shortly before noon, the grits, sausage and doughnuts had been served, the hall was empty of patrons and the volunteers appeared to have already cleaned up.

When Ryan did talk to some men who appeared to be homeless, as he did when he left the venue, reporters were not allowed to listen in on the exchange.

The visit by Ryan came after a town hall meeting Saturday morning at Youngstown State University.

After greeting and thanking a handful of volunteers from St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Canfield, Ohio — who said they typically visit the St. Vincent DePaul Society every Saturday and serve food from 10 to 11:30 a.m. — Ryan, his wife and their young children headed to the kitchen, donned white aprons and offered to clean up some dishes.

Ryan stood at the sink and took some large metal pans that did not appear to be dirty, soaped them up and rinsed them, remarking as the cameras clicked and the TV cameras rolled that he had spent a summer washing dishes when he was younger.

A controversial American businessman dumped around 100 tonnes of iron sulphate into the Pacific Ocean as part of a geoengineering scheme off the west coast of Canada in July, a Guardian investigation can reveal.

Lawyers, environmentalists and civil society groups are calling it a “blatant violation” of two international moratoria and the news is likely to spark outrage at a United Nations environmental summit taking place in India this week.

Satellite images appear to confirm the claim by Californian Russ George that the iron has spawned an artificial plankton bloom as large as 10,000 square kilometres. The intention is for the plankton to absorb carbon dioxide and then sink to the ocean bed – a geoengineering technique known as ocean fertilisation that he hopes will net lucrative carbon credits.

George is the former chief executive of Planktos Inc, whose previous failed efforts to conduct large-scale commercial dumps near the Galapagos and Canary Islands led to his vessels being barred from ports by the Spanish and Ecuadorean governments. The US Environmental Protection Agency warned him that flying a US flag for his Galapagos project would violate US laws, and his activities are credited in part to the passing of international moratoria at the United Nations limiting ocean fertilisation experiments

Scientists are debating whether iron fertilisation can lock carbon into the deep ocean over the long term, and have raised concerns that it can irreparably harm ocean ecosystems, produce toxic tides and lifeless waters, and worsen ocean acidification and global warming.

“It is difficult if not impossible to detect and describe important effects that we know might occur months or years later,” said John Cullen , an oceanographer at Dalhousie University. “Some possible effects, such as deep-water oxygen depletion and alteration of distant food webs, should rule out ocean manipulation. History is full of examples of ecological manipulations that backfired.”

Canadian government knew about sea fertilizing: organizers

Organizers of a controversial ocean fertilization project off Canada’s west coast said Friday officials knew of the undertaking but did not stop it, and that it violated no laws.

The project, carried out by a small aboriginal village together with US businessman Russ George, involved used a fishing boat to scatter 120 tonnes of iron sulphate last August into the Pacific Ocean west of Haida Gwaii, an archipelago off British Columbia.

The move was criticized by environmentalists, aboriginal groups and scientists for violating an international ban on ocean fertilization. It was even cited at this week’s meeting of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Hyderabad, India.

The government has denied any involvement and on Thursday a spokesman for Environment Minister Peter Kent said an investigation into the matter had been launched on August 30.

Adam Sweet told AFP federal officials met project organizers last May and told them “any iron ore deposit in waters, whether inside or outside the Canadian (200 nautical miles) limit, constitutes a violation of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act,” unless it is for the purpose of legitimate research.

One of the organizers, John Disney of the Village of Old Massett, insisted organizers followed international legal and scientific protocols, and that at least seven Canadian federal agencies knew of their plan.

“The government knew exactly what we were doing,” Disney told a news conference at the Vancouver Aquarium. “The work was performed in international waters, and is lawful.”

Organizers said the project aims to test two goals:

One is whether iron dust can boost the ocean ecosystem and increase the struggling population of salmon, a mainstay of the area’s culture and economy.

The other is whether iron dust will increase plankton, a species at the base of the ocean food chain, and lead to future profit through the sale of carbon credits.

Increasing drought conditions across the planet are part of a "new normal" which oddly presents new business opportunities, a new Bank of America Merrill Lynch report says.

The report comes just after insurer Munich Re's findings that North America has borne the brunt of weather-related natural catastrophes, with 30,000 deaths and insured losses of $510 billion in the 1980-2011 period.

The ongoing drought is the worst in the United States since at least 1956, with 63 percent of the lower 48 states suffering drought conditions in August, says the BofA Merrill Lynch report, "Global Drought -- Opportunities and Risks."

While conditions are far from those in the Dust Bowl years of the 1930s, drought conditions are the new normal, the report said.

Previous reports in a series focused on obesity, energy efficiency and safety and security.

"Food, water and energy security are increasingly bigger issues, and as governments, businesses and other players struggle to adapt to and mitigate drought conditions, there will be an evolving set of opportunities and risks for investors," the bankers said in their findings.

For investors interested in the fight against drought and in promoting food, water and energy security, the financial group has introduced a screen that identifies liquid stocks exposed to global drought-related themes under the Bloomberg ticker MLEIARID.

The stocks included in the screen are those that it considers to be long-term solution providers in such areas as water, fertilizers, crop science, energy efficiency, second-generation biofuels and renewables.

"The severity of the global drought underscores the long-term challenges for national and global economies," said Sarbjit Nahal, a co-author of the report.

"Food, water and energy security are increasingly bigger issues, and as governments, businesses and other players struggle to adapt to and mitigate drought conditions, there will be an evolving set of opportunities and risks for investors."

The Munich Re report also cited conditions in which North American stakeholders could benefit by learning about the weather risks.

The study was prepared in order to support underwriters and Munich Re clients in North America, the world's largest insurance and reinsurance market.

Dinosaur-era acoustics: Global warming may give oceans the 'sound' of the Cretaceous

Global temperatures directly affect the acidity of the ocean, which in turn changes the acoustical properties of sea water. New research suggests that global warming may give Earth's oceans the same hi-fi sound qualities they had more than 100 million years ago, during the Age of the Dinosaurs.

The reason for this surprising communication upgrade is that whales vocalize in the low-frequency sound range, typically less than 200 hertz, and the new research predicts that by the year 2100, global warming will acidify saltwater sufficiently to make low-frequency sound near the ocean surface travel significantly farther than it currently does - perhaps twice as far.

Rhode Island acoustician David G. Browning, lead scientist on the research team, will present his findings at the 164th meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), held Oct. 22 - 26 in Kansas City, Missouri.

He explains the sea change this way: "We call it the Cretaceous acoustic effect, because ocean acidification forced by global warming appears to be leading us back to the similar ocean acoustic conditions as those that existed 110 million years ago, during the Age of Dinosaurs."

Magnetic studies of the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences on sediment cores from the Black Sea show that during this period, during the last ice age, a compass at the Black Sea would have pointed to the south instead of north. Moreover, data obtained by the research team formed around GFZ researchers Dr. Norbert Nowaczyk and Prof. Helge Arz, together with additional data from other studies in the North Atlantic, the South Pacific and Hawaii, prove that this polarity reversal was a global event. Their results are published in the latest issue of the scientific journal "Earth and Planetary Science Letters".

What is remarkable is the speed of the reversal: "The field geometry of reversed polarity, with field lines pointing into the opposite direction when compared to today's configuration, lasted for only about 440 years, and it was associated with a field strength that was only one quarter of today's field," explains Norbert Nowaczyk. "The actual polarity changes lasted only 250 years. In terms of geological time scales, that is very fast." During this period, the field was even weaker, with only 5% of today's field strength. As a consequence, the Earth nearly completely lost its protection shield against hard cosmic rays, leading to a significantly increased radiation exposure.

This is documented by peaks of radioactive beryllium (10Be) in ice cores from this time, recovered from the Greenland ice sheet. 10Be as well as radioactive carbon (14C) is caused by the collision of high-energy protons from space with atoms of the atmosphere.

State Department official: Negotiations to extend U.S. troop presence in Afghanistan starting soon

Despite statements by Vice President Joe Biden, the State Department is about to begin formal negotiations over the extension of U.S. troops past 2014, a top State Department official said Tuesday.

Last week, U.S. and Afghan negotiators met in Kabul to talk about the Bilateral Security Agreement that will govern the extension of U.S. troops past 2014, when President Barack Obama said the combat mission in Afghanistan will end and the U.S. will complete the transition of the entire country to Afghan government control.

Also last week, Biden told Americans during his Oct. 11 debate with Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan that U.S. troops were leaving Afghanistan by 2014.

“We are leaving in 2014, period, and in the process, we’re going to be saving over the next 10 years another $800 billion,” Biden said. “We’ve been in this war for over a decade. The primary objective is almost completed. Now all we’re doing is putting the Kabul government in a position to be able to maintain their own security. It’s their responsibility, not America’s.”

Marc Grossman, the State Department’s special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, explained today that’s not the whole story.

Grossman said Tuesday that the point of the upcoming negotiations is to agree on an extension of the U.S. troop presence well past 2014, for the purposes of conducting counterterrorism operations and training and advising the Afghan security forces.

In May, Obama and Afghan President Hamid Karzai signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement that promised an ongoing U.S. commitment to Afghanistan through 2024. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced Oct. 3 that Grossman’s deputy, James Warlick, will be the lead U.S. negotiator for the Bilateral Security Agreement that will follow. Karzai’s Ambassador to Washington Eklil Hakimi will lead the negotiations for the Afghan side.

Grossman said that while meetings on “how we will manage our forces going forward in Afghanistan,” have already taken place, formal negotiations have not yet begun. Once the negotiations formally start, the Bilateral Security Agreement must be completed within one year, according to the Strategic Partnership agreement, Grossman explained.

Some U.S. military officials have said the plan is to keep 25,000 American troops in Afghanistan past 2014, but Grossman insisted that there is no number yet and the 25,000 figure quoted in reports is speculative. NATO announced Monday that it will also keep international troops in Afghanistan past 2014 alongside U.S. troops, not for combat but strictly for the mission of training and advising the Afghans.

Grossman was speaking on a panel at the annual summit of the International Stability Operations Association in Washington. Also on the panel was Under Secretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy, who said that the State Department would need U.S. military troops in Afghanistan to protect them and help them well past 2014.

“Rather than developing our own capabilities, we will be depending on DOD support for functions such as a quick reaction force, personnel recovery, fuel support, explosive ordinance disposal, and medical assistance, by 2015,” Kennedy said.

The Cable also asked Kennedy why he testified in a hearing last week that he was “inclined” to support the requests for more security in Libya before the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi that killed Amb. Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Kennedy declined to comment.

26 things to get done before the global debt collapse

(NaturalNews) The time between today and the day the global debt collapse reaches our shores is finite. The U.S. national debt clock shows a nation spiraling into financial oblivion. When Ron Paul says “Americans should be panicking” over the Fed’s new QE unlimited policy of infinite money creation, he was actually holding back. In reality, Americans should have been protesting in the streets… everywhere!

But instead, they’re going to deny reality, vote in the upcoming election, and pretend that whoever occupies the Oval Office has both the intention and the power to make any real difference. That belief is delusional, as is the belief that the national debt somehow doesn’t really matter.

The delusions are, of course, leading us all directly into a head-on collision with history, where the global debt collapse unfolds at a quickening pace and becomes “real” for hundreds of millions of people in North America who have so far escaped the reality of the financial collapse happening across Europe. Before that day comes, here are 26 things you might want to get done.

See a holistic dentist and get the mercury removed from your mouth.

Buy some hardcopy books so you have something to read when the power grid fails.

Move your money out of the big globalist banks.

Bury your gold and silver. Use an appropriate container to protect from moisture and don’t forget to tell someone else where you’ve buried things, just in case you don’t make it.

Get the heck out of the city and learn some country living skills.

Pay off as many assets as you can so you have a clear title to anything you don’t want the banks to seize.

Get right with God or whatever spiritual focal point you practice.

Wrap up needed apologies or forgiveness. Don’t allow regrets to burden you in a time of crisis.

Make color copies of all your important documents, then store them in a safe place. (BTW, a bank’s safe deposit box is NOT a safe place. Those will all be looted.)

Get off prescription meds. Any dependence on prescription drugs is a death wish in a collapse scenario.

Stock up on diatomaceous earth (DE) to protect your garden vegetables. The stuff stores forever.

Stock up on extra glasses or contact lenses if you might need them.

Get fit, you’ll need to be more fit if you hope to survive.

Take out some cash and start saving nickels. Why? Because nickels are actually still worth a nickel in terms of what they’re physically made of.

Learn to use shortwave radio, or better yet get a radio operator’s license.

Learn and practice basic gardening skills.

Learn how to raise chickens, goats or other small animals.

Buy a premium-quality set of basic gardening tools, even if you don’t yet garden.

Get training on how to use your firearms. When you really need them, there won’t be time to practice. If you want to practice on your own, buy the new book by Joe Nobody, entitled, “The Home Schooled Shootist” and start using it.

If you own rifles, sight them all in and use threadlock on anything that might work itself loose in a firefight. You don’t want your gear falling apart when you need it most.

Plant some figs, aloe vera or other low-maintenance food-producing plants. Do it now to give these plants as much time as possible to start producing food.

Stock up on salt, colloidal silver and other hard-to-get items that you’ll routinely need.

Spend more time outdoors to get used to sunlight exposure.

Store away an emergency seed kit.

Get a reliable guard dog who can help provide protection for your family and property.

Buy extra pairs of socks. You can never have too many pairs of quality socks. And you absolutely do not want to have to make them yourself later on.

Obviously, this list can go on forever, but these 26 things should be at the top of your “preparedness to-do list.” Bang out as many as you can while staying healthy, informed, well stocked and as far away from high density population areas as possible. The cities will suffer the most in almost any conceivable debt collapse scenario, so take advantage of the relative tranquility that exists right now to move out of the city and get squared away out in the country.

Trust me, you’ll be glad you did very, very soon. In terms of timelines, many smart people think we are on the verge of a sudden global debtcollapse. Others think we’re heading into a “slow collapse” that could accelerate over the next 2-3 years. Some people believe a lot is riding on the upcoming election, and what I’m hearing is that if Romney gets elected, many Obama supporters are going to riot in the streets. Whereas if Obama gets re-elected, U.S. business owners may very well revolt against the failed economic policies Obama has so far pursued. Either way, it’s not a pretty picture. Either way, you need to get prepared now for the inevitable.
