FARSIDE ERUPTION: An active region on the far side of the sun erupted this morning, hurling a bright CME into space. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) saw the cloud emerging over the sun's eastern limb:

NASA's STEREO-B spacecraft happens to be stationed almost directly over the blast site. The spacecraft's extreme UV telescope caught the explosion from the beginning; this movie shows the eruption and the shadowy shock wave it propelled through the sun's atmosphere.

The source of this activity, probably a big sunspot, is on the farside of the sun now, but won't remain there. The sun's rotation is turning it toward Earth. Geoeffective solar activity could commence within days. Stay tuned.

The omen for Turkey: 279 quakes in 14 days

January 12, 2011 – We’ve seen dense spectral patterns of seismic activity before but this one is making us take note. The region has experienced more than 280 seismic tremors of varying degrees over the last 14 days. Something major is brewing in the region. 

all these earth quakes have been rumbling for as long as i have been watching the disaster map http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index2.php, that has been about a year, with the extra activity around Etna, the huge crack that has appeared in Michigan, and also Africa is breaking in two, and all these earth quakes around Vesuvius i thought this was relevant.

“If there are greater activities in Vesuvius or Pelee, then the southern coast of California and the areas between Salt Lake and the southern portions of Nevada, we may expect, within the three months following same, inundation by the earthquakes. But these are to be more in the Southern than the Northern Hemisphere.”

A suggestion has been made about blogs that just post links to news articles.  It would be good to also post some commentary or analysis along with the link, such as perhaps how it relates to Planet X, or how you notice a trend is growing stronger.

Since I post so many newslink blogs, it starts with me.  One reason I will post a newslink as a blog is to showcase a good picture.  There's not much point in posting same old, same old pictures, like someone shoveling snow.

Another idea is for routine newslinks, like another winter storm or such, to be posted in the sidebar, perhaps "Daily Earthchange News" or something and leave the blogs and discussions open for other things.  The downside to this idea is that no one could post a comment.  Or, we could leave it to someone with a comment to turn it into a blog or discussion.

I think I became aware of this situation with the Arkansas deaths on 12/31, but the Health Ranger shows it began several weeks earlier, on 12/13.

i have seen many articles regarding the Sumerian and many others regarding planet x, nibiru, all though i am convinced it is out there, i am not convinced that it is coming into our part solar system and is the cause of these earth changes, but who knows we will have to wait and see and i might be completely wrong, just need some reliable proof, or maybe see it with my own eyes.

Today is 01/11/11, and today at 11:11 UST millions of people from around the planet will join in meditation as a growing participation of the next and last phase of Fire the Grid.

Many of you are probably already aware of this very cool meditation movement.  I wanted to invite anyone who enjoys this sort of unified creative action into the meditation.  This meditation movement was started by Shelly Yates.  Her story is here.  She and her son essentially died, had a NDE, and her son, who was left brain damaged in the aftermath was healed by loving friends in a unique way.  When this happened, she was invited to share this story with the world and inspired to offer this unique healing model as a way to help heal our planet.

This is a monthly meditation, and it is something I do every month.  The final global meditation will held in Novemeber, 11/11/11 at 11:11 UST.  This is an exciting meditation movement that anyone can join, and I think many of our friends here would enjoy this.
