I was in Scientology for a season. Not easily brainwashed, I saw the flaws and got out. Since then, I've researched mind control, cults (as well as their relationships to society), and related topics for over 20 years. I am a retired paralegal and have experienced first hand the cultic influences on our legal system, having been on the front lines of some high-risk litigation. Besides running this website, I am an author and activist.
This site is dedicated to freedom of speech and freedom of thought and freedom of press. I will paraphrase Voltaire (or Evelyn Beatrice Hall, as some sources indicate) and say that I have been and still am an activist who will defend, to her dying breath, your right to speak your mind, even if I disagree with what you are saying. However, I will not tolerate bad manners when conveying your thoughts.
It is not important to me if there are various theories presented here. Yes, there is such as thing as "bad science" and, yes, there is a cover-up going on, but it isn't important at this point. The reason is because events will either prove or disprove whatever theories are out there soon enough. There isn't time to argue.
And in the end, does it really matter? I think it's unproductive to care too much about who's right and who's wrong. Your bottom line should be: will this help me to survive? If not, it's a distraction, so move on to something that will help you to understand what is going on and help you prepare for it, whatever "it" turns out to be.
With that said, I want to point out that we are an international community and there are many different points of view. And every point of view is legitimate and valued. Treat them as such and this group will achieve its goals. Remember what Albert Einstein said: Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every man present his views without penalty there must be a spirit of tolerance in the entire population. We strive to have that spirit of tolerance here.
The one rule here is the Golden Rule. Courtesy goes a long way in facilitating meaningful discussions, which is a primary goal of this group...meaningful discussions on how to survive the coming events. As Louis Pasteur said, "Chance favors the prepared mind." Thus, those that prepare have a better chance of surviving. So let's all start working on learning those things that will help us survive.

In August, 2009, an event known as "Hellion-1957 occurred. You did not read about it in the mainstream news, nor did NASA make any announcements. The proof is above, from NASA's own images.
On August 16, 2009, a large celestial object was headed at high speed towards the sun as shown on NASA's SOHO C3 camera (this is one of several cameras that record what the sun is doing twice an hour, 24/7). One poster on GLP calculated its speed as "...traveling [very] fast at 87.33 km/sec. This translates to 195,357.21 MPH." Link here.
For those who think the object is Mercury or Venus, check out the blue images below. Mercury is in the three-frame-image. This is what Mercury and Venus look like on SOHO C3, sometimes a bit bigger or a bit smaller, but nothing like the Hellion-1957 object shown in the image above. The winged object in the middle frame is alleged to be Planet X. It has been showing up on NASA imaging for over a year now, so it is not an asteroid or meteor. But it's not likely Planet X. The above images are from NASA's LASCO C3 camera. There are also images from the C2 camera which are reddish colored. There is another set of cameras called STEREO. One camera is ahead of the Earth in her orbit and is called STEREO Ahead (or Stereo Cor2). Its images are red, as you will see below in the next two diagrams. The other camera is behind Earth in her orbit and is called STEREO Behind (or Stereo Cor1) and its images are green. This next diagram shows the positions of STEREO cameras A(head) and B(ehind). Currently, what has been misconstrued as Planet X shows up mostly on Stereo Ahead Cor2.
The next diagram is the daily chart which shows the position of the STEREO cameras and is available every day here. This helps you identify what planets are in range of the STEREO cameras. Example of the July 5, 2010 chart, which shows Venus just outside camera range.
The next image, from the Stereo Ahead Cor2 camera is displayed right below, but we don't know what the "blips" are. They are in too much of a formation to be natural. Could they be UFO's lining up for ring-side seats? Some scientists think so! Keep reading and be prepared to have your mind blown!

Apparently, UFO's corrected the trajectory of the Hellion-1957 object back on track and it was a non-event. It was quite exciting following all the action out in space, despite NASA's attempts at camaflouging it. However, on August 22nd, sightings of moon swirl emerged.

For those new to sun watching, here is some basic information. SOHO stands for Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. It is a satellite that orbits earth and focuses on the sun. It is 0.01 AU (930,000 miles) from the Earth and 0.99 AU from the sun. AU stands for "astronomical unit" and one AU is the average distance between the Earth and the Sun. This distance varies throughout the year. For instance, in the northern hemisphere winter, the Earth is approximately 91 million miles from the Sun (closest approach in the sun's orbit). During the northern hemisphere summer, it is 94.5 million miles from the sun (furthest approach in the sun's orbit). Normally, the blue lines (north) go up and the red lines (south) go down. The image on the right with the red and yellow colors indicate the pressure is increasing. It boils down to Earth being slammed by a geomagnetic storm which could be from a solar storm or, possibly, a planet x, brown dwarf star object.
Don't know about the bottom two images. Now, on to the cameras...
LASCO stands for Large Angle and Spectrometric Coronagraph. These are cameras, designated C1, C2 and C3. We tend to focus on C2 (orange) and C3 (blue). C2 is a closer "shot" of the sun and C3 is a wider angle shot. Pictures are automatically taken several times an hour throughout the day and night, 24/7. The circle in the center of the picture is called an occulter and is simply there to block the sunlight otherwise objects passing the sun would be obscured by the intense light. Each picture is dated and timed at the bottom. You can read more about these cameras at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LASCO_Large_Angle_and_Spectrometric_Co.... Here's a C3 image of Venus. Planets have those thin lines on each side of the orb. There are solar flares, those lines of light emanating from the sun. The streak around 08:00, near the arm of the occulter, is a comet. That's how cameras image fast moving objects, they look like streaks...

STEREO is a different NASA camera and stands for Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory. These are two nearly identical spacecraft launched into slightly different orbits that cause them to respectively pull further ahead of and fall gradually behind the earth. This enables stereoscopic imaging of the Sun and solar phenomena, such as coronal mass ejections. Stereo A (ahead of the Earth) is moving faster than Stereo B (behind the Earth) and is also closer to the sun. (This is where I determined the planet is Venus in the C3 image. Since C2 is a closer shot, Venus isn't showing up since it is outside the range.) Since PX or a Brown Dwarf Star is coming in on the right side (looking at the sun from Earth), we look at STEREO Ahead Cor2 (orange rust color) mostly. Understand that A and B are constantly moving so look at the next image, which shows A and B's positions over time and apply the same field of view (FOV) (the shade area from A or B to the sun) to the current year:

It would be a good idea to take this seriously and not share company or product reviews anywhere on-line. YOU could be sued because you made the comment. And so could the ning owner because s/he allows it. And possibly the host (such as ning.com) under varies legal theories.
You MUST do something about this NOW. If you wait until trouble strikes, you will be dealing with children who will not follow your instructions, who will drive you insane with their noise, and who will not be able to cope with the earth changes. The children in my life get absolutely depressed when deprived of their electronic stimuli. Then add on the depression and other psychological stresses of troubled times and they could easily just go psychotic on you. Imagine bugging out with 2 or 3 or 4 psychotic children. Your chances of survival will be seriously impacted. Or else you will have to leave your children behind. Could you do that?
I couldn't. So the solution is that you just HAVE to start interacting with your children NOW. Turn off the electronics. Involve the kids in games and social activities. Teach them to listen and follow your orders. Teach them they don't know it all (not a good thing in life and death situations).
And do it NOW! It will take time to bring them back from the brink.

You can create a blog post from 3 different points.
1. From the main page, near the top, on the right hand side is a drop down box called "Quick Add." Click on the down arrow and select the item you want. You have to click Options to be able to add pictures.
2. At the bottom of the Blog section there is a link "Add a Blog Post" (or at the bottom of the Discussion Forum there is a "Start a Discussion" link) on the left. On the right, you can view all prior Blog posts (or discussions) by clicking "View All."
3. "My Page" is accessed at the top of the main page. On the left, click on Blog Posts. This displays all of your blog posts. Above your picture is a link "Edit Blog Post" for fixing mistakes after publishing your post.
The left-hand column of the Main page shows Recent Activity and convenient links. If it says David G replied to such and such blog, if you click on David G, you go to his page, if you click on Reply or Comment, it takes you to his reply or comment, if you click on the title of the blog, it takes you to it, and so on.
If you posted a reply within a discussion you only have 15 minutes and you want to change it, you only have 15 minutes to do so. This won't work with a comment on a blog.
As you can see, the middle of the Main page contains the blog or discussion posts.
To upload a picture, first "Add a Blog Post," then click on the camera icon just above the "Entry" box. To upload a file, click on the icon just to the right of the camera.
The right side of the Main page links you to your Inbox, Alerts, Friends and Settings. Click on Inbox to pick up your ning emails, but you need to reply to them from your ning account. Email alerts are sent to your private outside email address as well. We send out notices to alert you to important items and these also appear in your outside email. There are settings to control whether you want these alerts or emails sent to your outside email. Click on the Settings link, then click on email to control these features. At the very bottom of this page there is a link to use should you choose to leave the group.
Besides the blog and the discussion forum, there are currently two separate groups (accessible under the Groups link on the navigational menu at the top of the Main page, or beneath the Discussion Forum). One group discusses earth changes and the impending pole shift. The other group discusses how to survive the impending pole shift. These groups started in January 2010 and are evolving. There are lots of great older blogs and discussion on the main page. You can use the search feature at the top right (to the right of the sign-out link) or click on the "view all" link at the end of the blog or discussion section OR by clicking on blog or forum at the top in the menu. Either way will give you a reverse chronological list (newest on top) of all blogs and all discussions. You have to click on the Groups link, then click on the group you want to access those. New entries to Groups are noted in the Recent Activities bar on the left side of the Main page, as well as new Blogs and comments, and Discussions and replies. So check there for the most recent activity.
If you can't figure out how to do something, just ask, either by starting a discussion or emailing one of the moderators/administrators or a friend on the blog.
We're glad you're here. We have just a few simple rules. The Golden Rule is one: treat others as you want to be treated. In other words, be courteous. We have many different viewpoints and beliefs here so this is a point that will be enforced. If you find someone who is not courteous, notify the owner by email or the “Report an Issue” tab above and the necessary action will be taken. DO NOT RESPOND TO DISCOURTEOUS PEOPLE. This takes the wind out of their sails. Thankfully they are few and far between. This group is generally well behaved and respectful, and we intend to keep it that way.
We suggest that you read some of the blogs and discussions to get a feel for the culture of this ning. Then jump in and share your information about earthchanges in your area or your preparedness information or discuss spiritual preparations. We even post poems and songs, and occasionally diversions and jokes to keep the morale up, because we are focused on a heavy topic. It's inevitable that we go off-topic, but the moderators will give gentle nudges to get back on topic. Some people have mistaken us for a technical group. We are not a technical group, just ordinary people with an interest in the topics we discuss.
A number of people here already accept the existence of Planet X and the coming pole shift. However, if these are not your realities, that's okay. But, you should prepare for disaster no matter what you choose to believe.
It is our intent that this blog be a safe space for discussion of contactees, UFOs, crop circles, Planet X, earthchanges, end time prophecies, alternative scientific and spiritual views, and such. While recognizing the many different spiritual points of view here and the importance of spiritual preparation for the coming cataclysms, we ask that this site not be used as a platform for proselytizing or debating religion. However, we do allow discussion of religion along the lines of preparation and end time prophecies.

We also do not allow any form of negative images, whether personal or otherwise. For instance, someone was using a dark version of the Joker from Batman as his personal picture and many people here found it disturbing and offensive. We will not give notice. Just don't post negative pictures. If you have a question whether a picture is okay or not, please ask first before posting.
In regards to dating service spam, we act fast because, if we don't, it gives their spam time to circulate. There will be no appeal of these types of suspensions. Occasionally, one slips through. Please, do not respond to any communication from them. Instead, please use the Report an Issue Link in the top navigational bar. This will send your report to the owner and all the administrators. If the issue is in a blog or discussion, please send the link. On a related note, if you receive private emails from someone asking you to contact them and giving an outside email address, it is likely spam. We advise you to ignore it. Sex spammers are after your wallet.
While it is okay to post personal pictures because we consider ourselves a family, this group is growing, so please limit personal pictures on your profile page. Videos should only pertain to things related to earthchanges and related things. Also, if you are new to the Ning blog experience, please see the link for Ning instructions.
This site is configured for the Discussion section to be used for posting relevant earthchanges news and the Blog section for everything else. These sections are intended to be applicable to everyone. Most groups are open, but a few are members' only. Groups allow messages to be sent to all group members and, if members only, also provides added security for group discussions. Groups keep Google from landing your sensitive information into their public cache which can be searched.

If you don't understand something, just ask. Most knowledgeable people here are always glad to help, so don't be shy.
We also recommend that you use a fictional screen name because of the Google cache issue, if you need to protect your privacy for various reasons, such as background checks, employment, etc. If your email changes, update it in the Settings link (in the box below your Inbox link). If you don't, you can still sign in. However, you will not receive broadcast messages, which are for members only, so it is in your interest to update your email address when it changes.
If you need to reach a moderator or the owner immediately, look at the chat window to see who is on line. If you click on a name, a menu opens and you can click on private chat. This causes the Administrator you select to have a blinking window. Of course, if we are logged on but away from our computer, it doesn't work, but it's the best thing we have. If you change your residence or email address, please let us know via private mail. Changing your residence changes your IP number and changing your email, while still allowing you to log in, will prevent you from getting broadcast messages.

We are a diverse, international group that began following the news of escalating global earth changes, reporting local earth change news, and analyzing theories and prophecies concerning the earthchanges. We also share information about how to survive the earth changes. We followed NASA's images in search for an alleged Planet X body. We never found it, but instead began seeing UFOs. There are those who say that talking and informing people about a pole shift and Nibiru induces fear or that the motivation is to scare people. This simply isn't the case. It has to do with informing people on what's coming so that they can prepare and be as ready as possible, to try to save as many lives as possible.
The reason that we inform people is not out of fear but out of love. It has its base in the positive and not the negative. If it were the other way around, with the Zetas or us not saying a thing, then that would be a bad thing. Speaking out on this matter is a good thing we believe.
What we are about to say is not being said lightly. We have come to a reasonable certainty that a major earth change is about to happen. Back on 3/3, Gerard was feeling like some islands in the Caribbean were going to disappear within about 3 weeks. This was just after 3 waves that were 33 feet high damaged a cruise liner. Cheryl had a vision of seeing the western So. American coastline in bright moonlight with a dark line she felt was a tsunami rapidly approaching shore, and Gerard saw islands disappearing along the southern Caribbean plate area in a vision. This site was consulted http://www.heavens-above.com/moon.asp?lat=0&lng=0&loc=Unspe... and noted that the next full moon will occur on 3/30. Cheryl noted that was a lot of 3's and mentioned it, noting that 3/30/2010 was 3 + 3 + (2+1) = 333. Then Nancy was informed by a reliable contact who told her that she was sensing 3's involved in the next big change. So what's with all the 3's? We'll find out it seems.

The sense you had that more casualties were to be expected was due to a somewhat shortened time frame for some of these earth changes to begin. Those who were working with contactees, to get them to abandon their existing lives and move early to safe locations, are disappointed, thus. The visitors always hope for the best in these cases, and have a strong sense of mission.
