It is said that when the New Madrid rips it will cause a tsunami that will hit the UK and Europe.  The Gulf Stream is said to be a a major player in the force and direction the tsunami will go.  Thus, a logical conclusion is that the Gulf Stream is expected to be alive and well at that time.  See http://www.zetatalk.com/info/tinfx316.htm, specifically, "For the European tsunami, there will be a large void, a spreading apart, not rising or falling land on either side of the fault line. Since at least 2005, the Gulf Stream appears to have been slowing down and recently dramatically.  It has been raised several times in chats.  One of the effects of a slowed or stopped Gulf Stream is severe winter weather, especially in Europe. 

When the information that the Gulf Stream had stopped or nearly stopped surfaced in 2009, NZT downplayed it, even to the point of attacking the messengers (i.e., pointing to Dr. Deagle's alleged loss of license and criminal charges).  In other NZT's, direct questions asking if the Gulf Stream had stopped and/or what caused it either went unanswered and/or the "wobble" was pointed to as the cause.

HOWEVER, the predicted results of the slowing of the Gulf Stream are upon us.  News articles have indicated that Russia as well as Britain are having the coldest winters in 1,000 years, the U.S. east coast is having increasingly severe winters and that we are at the precipice of a mini ice age.

If the Gulf Stream stops or slows down catastrophically, will it ever get going again?  I've read no commentary to that effect yet.

Assuming at this point that it doesn't, then that would mean there would be no European tsunami, at least as has been described in NZT.  Of course, things could change, the Gulf Stream could re-invent itself, but consider that it isn't JUST the New Madrid rip that is causing its demise, since said demise has already been in progress since at least 2005.

The current severe weather in the northern hemisphere provoked this question.

Where is a safe location if a significant portion of the northern hemisphere is buried under snow and ice?  Have we been misled that there is such an animal?  Have we ever been advised to prepare for heavy snow and ice in addition to a safe location (traditionally meaning safe from rising seas, large bodies of water, mountain building, extraordinary earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.)?  Did NZT miss some important factors to consider in determining a safe location?

Further, will a trench covered with a metal roof and sod keep us from drowning in heavy rains or keep us from freezing to death if a mini ice age does indeed blanket the northern hemisphere during the passage?

ZT hasn't talked about the Gulf Stream slowing/stopping, yet the phenomena has been known since at least 2005.  There was a recent mention that it wouldn't be a source of problems, yet look at the winter the UK/Europe is having...predicted to be the coldest in a 1,000 years, when another mini ice age occurred. 

And all the "lowlands" expected to flood?  How do they flood if they are frozen before the passage?  I understand that water could wash over them, but my point is that the data was presented as something people would have to plan for and evacuate from.  However, now it looks like they will need to evacuate because of the deep freeze.  In other words, NZT did not see climate change/freezing temperatures coming.  She didn't see the Gulf Stream slowing/stopping as significant and brushed it off.  And she was blindsided, proving again that she is not getting her information from intelligent extraterrestrials.

We need to rethink our safe locations and factor in protection from the elements as well.

UPDATE:  06/21/2011:  Terral Croft has a map in his latest video, 7-7-11 Warning, that shows areas, such as the Appalachians and East Coast, in extreme danger zones, contrary to the Safe Locations document published by ZetaTalk.  Please examine Terral's map and decide if you need to alter your plans.  I am in the Appalachians, touted by ZetaTalk as being a safe area.  I don't buy the Zeta "water will dilute radiation" theory and think Terral's map makes more sense.  Of course, that is just my opinion.  You need to see the map:  https://earthchanges.ning.com/profiles/blogs/terral-crofts-elenin-threat and decide for yourself.

Forecasters say this winter could be the coldest Europe has seen in the last 1,000 years. The change is reportedly connected to the speed of the Gulf Stream, which has shrunk in half in just the last couple of years. Polish scientists say that it means the stream will not be able to compensate for the cold from the Arctic winds. According to them, when the stream is completely stopped, a new Ice Age will begin in Europe. Some are saying that day has come and gone already, meaning Europe, at least, is in for some very big trouble. I reported a few weeks ago that indications are the stream has completely stopped in terms of completing its journey to Europe.

Collapse of cities and even societies is possible in the near future though almost no one anywhere is entertaining the idea that where they live today might not be livable in the near future. Ecosystems can and will fail. Predictably we will see failing infrastructure; food, water and fuel shortages, infectious disease, war, civil disobedience and conflict, and outright collapse of livable climate conditions. Extreme climatic events (including extreme rain events, floods) can do more to level humanity than nuclear attacks.

James  Horak  eludes  to the  need  for  change  and  the  need  to  do  something.  However, he  never  really says  straight  out  what it is  we  must  do .  With the  exception of the very  same attempt  we  have  all been  trying to  accomplish.  Which is  the  co  creation  and the intention of a  better  world and  community.  Free of  cruelty, greed and  violence.  A  community filled  with  love, care and true  humanity.  Can  we  achieve this?  James  Horak  is tired   and  so  disappointed  he  says , because he has  tried  with  those  he has  believed  to be  tired  and  distressed  with the  ambivalence  they  see in this  world  and  in  our  daily  lives.  His  distress stems  from the  fact that  these  very  same  people  he  has  worked  with and  tried to  help to  create this very  model  have in turn  become  ambivalent  and  fallen  into the  same  trap  yet  again.

Are  we  destined  to overcome this ambivalence and  create  a  better  future?  Or  are  we so  far  gone that  we  will  simply  sit  back and  wait  for  someone  or  something to  save  us  because  we  are  too  lazy or  ignorant  to  save  ourselves?  For  all our  sakes  I  truly from the  bottom  of my  heart  do  hope the  we can  overcome this apathetic dream state we  have  fallen into.
