Volcano blasts tower of ash near Mexico City

The Popocatepetl volcano that towers over Mexico City began rumbling again Friday, shooting a blast of ash about 2 miles above its crater at dawn.

The ash cloud drifted first to the west and then turned back east toward the city of Puebla, Mexico's national disaster prevention agency said.

The 17,886-foot mountain shook for several minutes before the ash burst out.

The agency urged people to stay at least 7 miles from the crater, which is about 40 miles southeast of Mexico's capital.

Concern Over Missouri River Flooding AND DAMS

MO-River-Basin-052711-600x405.jpg

Here along the Missouri River we are having a mad scramble. All along there is levee-building and sandbagging going on. I really started to wonder when I heard that a business on the NORTH end of a southeastern, SD town was moving it's computer operations UPSTAIRS. They, of all buildings there, should have the least to worry about. They are involved with the mad scramble and I wondered "what do they know?"  Plus little snippets of info here and there coming thru on newscasts etc.

The official story is "a bit of flooding" and that "we feel that we are making the levees high enough" etc....they have evacuated some areas of towns along the river...moving people like crazy, building walls like crazy....most of the time going 24 hours a day.

One of the big concerns is the river flow. The Yankton dam, at it's record flow-rate, had to withstand 70,000 cfs (cubic feet per second) of water. It is at that now, or just above, and will be increased to 100,000 cfs this friday. It will continue to be escalated to 150,000 cfs by tuesday, June 5th. That is more than twice what these 50 year old dams have held.

There are several dams along the Missouri. I caught a snippet of the Governor saying there had recently been noted, a "whirlpool" at the dam in Pierre - I'm no dam expert but that doesn't sound good to me.....he said it is seen when the waters are calm....

A friend of mine just talked to an uncle in Montana today - he indicates they are worried the dam in Montana is about to fail, and that is why they are in such a rush to release water and pressure downstream ASAP. They stepped up the 150K release to June 5 from June 14.

In addition to all this news, I have to add a dream that I had last winter. This was while we were still living in Yankton itself, before Father provided us this house way north of Yankton, up several hills. ( I didn't even have any idea of the possibility of us moving!)

I dreamed I was standing on a plateau, I knew the house we were in was behind me (almost like I was in the front yard) Below me right at the top of the plateau I was on, was a raging torrent of waves, nothing but huge waves and water as far down as I could see, and I knew everything below me was washed away......quite a dream to look back on, given this information. My friend also had a very similar dream at this same time....

All in all, there seems to be great concerns over the Missouri river......keep your ears open....

FEMA Grants For Safe Rooms

http://www.ehow.com/info_7787523_fema-storm-shelter-grants.html

If you live in a manufactured home park, FEMA can give money to build a shelter.  There are qualifications, such as there have to be at least 20 units there, etc.  Probably not enough time left to do this, but if things do drag on into next year, this could help.

An older article, but gives some parameters:  http://mcalesternews.com/homepage/x546246439/Need-a-storm-shelter-FEMAs-buying.

Tornado Safe Room

http://www.tornadosaferoom.com/5person.html

This looks like a possibility.  It is above ground and can take a lot of stress.  It could also be put into a trench to get it closer to surface level.  The only question is how will it react in an earthquake, being rectangular.  Doug, would it work, or would something circular, like a culvert, be better so it could roll a bit?

India during poleshift

Hi guys,

i am new to this ning. anyways i was banned in  nancy lieders ning coz i had said couple of times that poleshift might b e  in october.i was suspended from the site and given reason "im tired of you" by moderators. and i don t know whyi get the  feeling  she dispises india  soo much stating that "a country worth to go" or "not worth saving"

anyways here is below extracts related to india from zeta talk http://www.zetatalk.com/safelocs.pdf

"Due to the compression of the Pacific during the forthcoming pole shift, India is forced under the Himalayan highlands, with a violent thrust of the Indo-Australian plate, which is strong enough to remain whole, yet the edges of which will separate from the surrounding plates so that it is free to move and slide under the Himalayas. Those in India will find, after the first strong jolts, that water is rapidly rising, coming in from the coast for those who live there, and coming from whatever area might be considered the lowland for those inland. Giant waves will not occur, just a rapid rise in the water, which will force man and animal alike to tread water for as long as possible, then drown. Those in boats will find a different scenario when the water reaches a height, as then vortexes, created by adjustments in the water, will capsize small boats and large alike. Those who would survive the coming cataclysms are advised to leave the lowlands, which in the case of India as well as western Australia, means leaving the country. Go high into the mountains, and out of reach of the turmoil that mountain building in the Himalayas will present.

Cities in the interior of India will not experience flooding until the hour of the pole shift, and then will be in shock. Unless our predictions, or some similar prophecy from a respected individual has warned the residents, they will have scant warning and no chance of escape. The last weeks, even rotation stoppage, will not bring the flood tide to these interior cities, though it will be clear that the passage is upon them. The flood tide will not be a crashing wave, as depicted in the movie 2012. It will be water rising, always rising, first along the rivers in the lowlands and then up through city street and then rising to cover the roof tops. Those in boats or clinging to floating objects will find the waters swirling, whirlpools developing suddenly, so boats will capsize and sink. The flood tide will close in on all sides of India, and meet in the middle, creating crashing waves in the center and rip tides as the water pulls back again. Drowning will be swift, and is fortunately painless, and for those with a firm belief in an afterlife can be faced with acceptance rather than panic."

So  what do you guys think about this??

and i watched the videos series of "Alien from Andromeda Answers".. All 42 parts..there are contradictory statements there..At very first of the video series, when asked about nibiru, he says there is no way it passes near earth as it passes at distance 1.5 times distance away from to earth and not to worry about. Going further into series,he says about elinin and nibiru following it...what made him change the statements?

8:25 p.m. ET] Severe storms - including tornadoes - have left behind "many injuries" and extensive damage in western and central Massachusetts on Wednesday, Gov. Deval Patrick said.

Patrick also said he's received a report one person has died as as result of the storms. He said he has declared a state of emergency for Massachusetts and called up 1,000 National Guard members, who will be asked to help with cleanup and search-and-rescue operations.

"It's been particularly devastating in downtown Springfield," he said. One local official told him, "You have to see Monson to believe it," the governor said.

Patrick said he was asking school superintendents in affected communities to cancel Thursday classes so that rescue and recovery personnel could concentrate on cleanup.

The National Weather Service has said it received three reports of tornadoes in Massachusetts on Wednesday: at least one near Springfield; one near Palmer; and one near Sturbridge and Oxford.

Sandra Ahearn, a spokeswoman for the Western Massachusetts Electric Co., said 12,000 customers were without power in the utility's service area and that hard-hit areas might not have electricity until the end of the week.

[7:50 p.m. ET] Trained weather spotters reported a tornado near Sturbridge, Massachusetts, at 7:25 p.m. ET, bringing to at least three the number of tornadoes that have been reported in the state Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.

By 7:35 p.m., the suspected tornado was located near Oxford, Massachusetts, moving east at 30 mph.

[6:53 p.m. ET] Local law enforcement reported a tornado caused widespread damage near Palmer, Massachusetts, about 14 miles northeast of Springfield. The tornado was moving east at 35 mph, the National Weather Service said.

[4:51 p.m. ET] Witnesses reported a tornado near downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, on Wednesday as heavy thunderstorms swept through western Massachusetts, according to the National Weather Service.

Police and amateur radio operators said tornadoes were spotted in a Springfield neighborhood and within a half-mile of downtown, according to a warning put out by the Weather Service. No confirmation of damage or injuries was immediately known, however.

Springfield is about 90 miles west of Boston.
