There is probably a way to do this on a PC, but do you know how to activate text to speech on a Mac? I’m running the latest version of the Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8.5), and here is how I work it on my computer: Go to System Preferences/Dictation & Speech. On the Text to Speech tab, choose the System Voice and speaking rate that please you. Check off “Speak selected text when they key is pressed”. The “key” referred to is probably already set to Option + Esc keys. That means press and hold the Option (located two keys away from the space bar) and press the Esc key (located on the upper left-hand corner of your keyboard. Now highlight whatever text you want your computer to read to you. Press and hold Option + Esc. Your computer should now speak aloud the text you have highlighted. To stop the speaking, press and hold Option + Esc again. Older versions of the OS might have just a dictation tab. Play around in this option to find a choice that will appear to be dictation related. Why might you want to use this free built-in feature: You can highlight text, then activate the dictation by pressing and holding Option + Esc, and you’re computer will start reading your highlighted text to you. I do this when I want to read something but also need to do something else, like fold the laundry.
If you spend a lot of time on your computer, especially at night, and you have challenges in sleeping through the night, it could be that the blue light from your computer is interrupting your brain’s melatonin production. A: YES DO CONTACT THEM. THE MORE THE BETTER. THE POWER OF THE PEN IS TRULY MIGHTY AND, IN THE END, WHEN ALL THE TRUTH COMES OUT, WE WILL SEE WHICH POLITICIAN INDEED HEEDED THE VOICE OF HIS OR HER EMPLOYERS. YES, THE CABAL HAS LOST THEIR POWER FINANCIALLY. THEY STILL HAVE RESIDUAL POLITICAL CLOUT, AND THE CLOAK OF SECRECY THAT THEY HAVE WOVEN IS UNRAVELING, BUT IT IS NOT QUITE AT THE STAGE WHERE IT ALL BLOWS WIDE OPEN. NOT THE TIME YET I WOULD SAY. A: YEAH, FIRST THE DEER-IN-THE-HEADLIGHTS LOOK, THEN THE MUMBLED “GOTTA GO AND TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS”, OR THE POPULAR “NO COMMENT” AND THE MACHINERY STILL IN PLACE (BUT WITHOUT THE OIL OF MONEY) STILL GRINDS OUT THE ATTEMPTS TO SILENCE THE REALLY NOISY ONES. BE ASSURED THAT THE MONEY FOR THAT ##### HAS BEEN “DISAPPEARED”, AND THEY ARE RUNNING ON FUMES. THEY ARE DESPERATE NOW BUT NEED TO KEEP UP APPEARANCES.
Q: So it appears that until the coin gets flipped, the real truth is we are defenseless.
A: NOT SO. THE WHITE HATS IN THE AGENCIES AND THE ARMED FORCES ARE DYING FOR ALL OF US EVERY DAY COMBATING THIS CRAP. WE WILL WIN IN THE END.
Q: I have been part of this since 1988 and have had many good conversations with Poof. One can only hope that things will change soon or it will be to late – between Fukushima and chemtrails – many will perish.
